Mi 11 Ultra REVIEW Preview! REAR DISPLAY DEALBREAKER? By Frankie Tech

Hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tech good to see you guys again and here at the fichu center and just want to share here on day three. My thoughts on this me 11 ultra and I finally have the global unit here in this gorgeous white color. I'm just loving this color, it's absolutely stunning, and what I wanted to do in this video, though, is just going to preview. My review, I'm actually heading out to shoot b-roll for this review in a minute, and so I want to get your guys take what specific things you may be interested about with this phone. Of course, I'm going to be covering design display and all that stuff, and we've done a lot of other tests on this phone already, but just trying to get the essence of what makes this device so great. Because let me tell you, I mean the 11 when it came out.

I was very impressed with that device, and this carries a lot of the DNA of that device with a 6.81 inch display. You know you have that who 120 hertz refresh rate performance. That is just next level, with the snapdragon 8 12 gigs of ram 256, gigs of storage and guys. I have not received any software update since, so I'm still testing here on 12.0.3, but do hit me up in the comments guys what type of uh questions you may have about this phone and I may try to address them in the full review coming up, hopefully tomorrow, but I don't want to rush it. You know I.

I really want to give the time and attention to this device that it deserves, and I figured out a new way to be able to tap the screen. You kind of go like that, and then you get the screen turned on now. One question I overheard in a podcast just now that a lot of I guess I hadn't addressed it- was that this rear display guys currently is used in photo mode. So when you go to photo mode, you basically have rear display mode there. It shows up- and this gives you a preview- you can see there of your subject now right now.

This rear display can only be used in photo mode. If we use, let's say, go to video mode, it's not going to work, and let's just show you here, so you can see if it's not there. You see what I mean: there's no rear display mode for video. So just want to be clear on that. I think possible misconception that I guess I hadn't cleared up that right now as of right now, you can only use this rear display for photo taking previews, and will this be addressed in a software update.

The good news is this: is a software related thing, so I could definitely foresee Xiaomi, eventually launching maybe a mini 12.5, an update that will enable video, as you can see, they're still previewing right now, let's take a quick selfie here there we go, and you can have a look at it, not exactly the best hairdo, but guys, I'm just still so impressed despite the limit. The limited features of this rear display that I can get such quality images from the camera, and you know I posted this photo yesterday. I was just in a random conference call yesterday with my buddy and I wanted to. I wanted to preview the rear display selfies to him. This was just a random shot.

I took just demoing, I wasn't even paying attention you can see and the quality using the rear display is just impressive. Now, yes, is it limited right now? I would say so, but it works guys. I mean it works, and I'd say for at least an initial. You know showcase of this display. I think it's working great, of course, I'd love to see more features added to this in the future, but I wouldn't call the rear display a dealbreaker man, I don't think it is, and if you were waiting for more features to drop on this rear display, definitely they will be coming out.

I'm sure soon beyond that guys, I'm just loving my time with this phone, of course, being the global variant and just FYI, I did sell the china version, just sold it locally. Here back to my guy, he made me a great deal on that phone, so I've kept the white version and this is the version that will be in the full review so stay tuned.
