How to Fix Samsung Galaxy Watch Bezel Ring

What's up guys its Matt today, I'm going to show you guys how to fix your galaxy watch if you're anything like me, you've probably popped that bezel ring right off there, and you may be thinking. Why isn't it going back on right or why did it go on? But it doesn't feel right when it spins. That's because there's little tiny pieces in there that usually get lost when this thing pops off there I got mine caught on a door, but today I'm going to show you guys how to fix it. There's a trick to it. I'm going to show you, so I'm a huge fan of the galaxy stuff, in fact I'm filming this entire video on the galaxy s 10 plus. So, if you're curious about the video quality I'm, actually even using the front face camera which now shoots in 4k.

So this is a 4k video with a front-facing camera. How you like that, but back to the watch, so my bezel popped off there and if you're, watching this video I'm guessing yours did too and underneath that bezel there are some pieces. There are four tiny, tiny, tiny little Springs and four tiny, tiny, tiny little ball bearings and there is a plastic gasket ring as well. The plastic gasket ring you'll probably find it's pretty easy to see if it falls out of there, but those little ball, bearings and Springs that they fly out, and they probably will at least some of them. You're, probably not going to find and looking online I couldn't find anything as far for replacement parts for this watch, probably because it's so new, so as of May 2009, teen you're, not gonna, find anything, you could probably take it to a Samsung dealer or a repair guy that does Samsung stuff, and they could probably get the parts.

But good luck with that. Even I tried that, and I had no luck, so I did some research and what I found is the s3 gear. S3 watch the ball, bearings and Springs, and the gasket ring are the same size, and so I have the 46 millimeter galaxy watch, and they fit I ordered those I found them on I believe if I found them on eBay through phone joy, but I'm sure there's other place, you can get them I had to order them from the UK I'm. Here the United, States, and so I got those parts in and right now I'm going to show you guys how to replace them. Let's do it so, like I said, if you find your plastic gasket ring, you can pop this thing back together, and it will work.

It will spin it'll hold together, and you know it'll, it'll function, but it doesn't feel right. It doesn't click like it should be it spins too easily too smoothly, and it'll, it'll turn on when you accidentally stick your hand, your pocket and spin it or whatever, and that's because you're missing your ball bearings and Springs. Alright. So if yours is popped back together like mine, the first thing you need to do is pop. This puzzle ring back off.

It's actually suggested you something softer like a guitar pick, or they make picks you can. You know, use this, then we have a control you can buy, but if you use a pocketknife, just don't scratch it, and then next thing you want to do is get your gasket ring back out. This is mine. It has a little break in it's supposed to I, know. You'll see it probably think I know it's broke, but it's supposed to have a little break in it like this, and so you want to get that back out of there, and then you'll see these four small holes here and these four small holes are where your Springs go in, and then your ball bearings sit right on top of the springs.

So here are my replacement parts right here you got the gasket ring and your four small ball bearings and your four small little sprints. Hopefully you guys can see this yeah. We focus here a little better and this is how they come in this little baggy like this all together, like that all right. So now I'm doing this on a little plate here, a plastic plate. You might want to do the same, so it doesn't roll away on your little parts.

Don't roll away, get lost, they are small and, as you can see here, the'm trying to use tweezers, but the parts are magnetic. So it's really hard to get them to stay in the holes, because they're gonna stick to your little tweezer, so I, eventually just switched to a toothpick and a toothpick is not metal. Obviously, and it was pretty easy to stick the spring on the end of the toothpick here and pop that down into the little hole, hey stay, but one thing I did notice. Here is one of my holes that see here the spring wouldn't stay in there. They kept one to bounce back out, and I'm like is something stopping it from going in there eventually I realized.

One of my Springs actually stayed in there. We had a spring in their still, so all the other ones were gone, but that one stayed. What do you know so? Next you're going to put your ball bearings in and for this I used a combination of the tweezers and the toothpick, because the ball bearings are magnetic too they're going to try to stick to your tweezers, but once I got it into place with the tweezers I would just use my toothpick here to get it to hold in place, and you want it just to rest right. On top of that that spring you already put in their just like that, and so this is pretty easy. It's small, and it's easy to lose these parts, if you're, not careful, but this job was not in a hard job at all, get them all resting on there very carefully.

Just like this all right. So the next thing you're going to do is get your plastic gasket ring back in there and I found the easiest way to do. This is to tuck it into the bezel. There's a little groove inside there on the bezel you let those teeth facing down or I. Have it facing up right now, because I have the bezel upside down.

But you know what I mean when you get the watch together, it will be facing down, and you're going to tuck it into this little groove around the edges and get it in there. Real good and carefully pray place it on to the watch, making sure your gasket isn't sticking out anywhere and that it's all in there and then press down firmly it should pop all back together. You want to check it, make sure, there's no gasket sticking out or anything make sure it's all together, nice and tightly and then for the test, give it a little spin. You should feel the click Enos of it. It should stop when you, when you let go it doesn't spin smoothly.

It should actually feel that you know that click Enos like it's a new watch again, and it is you've done it. Furthermore, it's a brand-new watch booth. So that's how you do it folks, I hope this helped. You open, get your watch back together, cheap without housing, just to take it to a repair guy or get a new watch. God forbid and I hope helped you out.
