Samsung tab s7+ vs Amazon fire hd8 plus real world speed test comparison By Fred's Aquariums and electronics

Hey everyone, so this will be a real world comparison and speed test between the 2020. Both devices are 20, 20. , Amazon, fire, had plus, and the Samsung tab, s7 plus I'm sure to mix these two names up. So I think we're just going to call this Amazon and this Samsung here. So first, let's go over some very quick specs. Eight inches 12.4 inches three gigabytes of ram six gigabytes of ram. This has a MediaTek processor in it, and this has the snapdragon.

I had a quick brain fart there that has a snapdragon in it. Both of these can have their storage expanded with a micro SD card, and this one has 32 gigabytes of storage. This one has 128 this can. If you do get spent a bit more money, you can get yourself, one that has six gigs or eight gigabytes of ram. Excuse me eight.

Instead of six, we have 256 gigabytes of storage. Instead of 128. This you can get one like. I have for three with 32 gigabytes of storage or with 64 gigabytes of storage. The ram does not increase, though only time the ram increases on this is going from the nine plus to the plus version here.

This has super AMOLED display. This has IPS. This is ridiculously bright. I have both these up to eighty percent. I don't know what the actual knits are, but they said both had about the same brightness and holy cow.

Is this thing bright compared to any other device? I have. This thing is crazy, crazy, bright uh, even versus the a7 from Samsung. Now this is, I must say, about not scientifically uh, but this is about double the thickness of this guy and, of course, that is quite a bit longer and bigger uh again, eight versus 12.4 uh, yeah. Okay, let's get into this extra speed test uh. So again, both these are at the same about the same brightness uh.

Both of these are had. This has 96 battery. This is at 69 percent. That's funny uh 96, 69 flip that run, and you have 96. Uh, so both they're, both pretty well uh charged both are on the same Wi-Fi, I'm going to use silk browser, and I'm going to use chrome uh.

This comes with silk. I really like using silk on it, see how bright this is. My camera can't even take the brightness from the uh, seven plus uh, and I tried using chrome. Actually I did a video and I had to end the video because chrome actually seemed to be going slower on here than silk does uh. This comes with chrome or Samsung's internet.

I use chrome. So that's what we're going to use uh! This is already on Google. I'm going to go to google first on this on the Amazon here. If you use silk, it goes to Bing, for whatever reason they decided to use. Bing uh, let's see all right, so now we're going to do a Wi-Fi speed test here.

I'll show you guys the download speed again. We are on the same internet, of course, which is my home internet uh. Those are actually both pretty quick there uh. So we'll do the speed test by UK or, however, you say that word we'll do it on here. First on this on the Amazon, so I'm sure to mess up these names throughout this video.

Here my internet is weird, sometimes it's very high and other times it just sucks. Sometimes it just doesn't work. Let's see we're getting a bit over 100 megabytes per second download, all right, 105.27, and before I did this video, I did a couple of speed tests and that is about what it was at. I think the highest I got was like 112 on here, and you can see how much more, how much faster the Wi-Fi is on the Samsung here I'll drop, this light real fast. You know make this look a bit better, okay and there we go so in 238.44 again before. I think I got this above that.

Actually, I think it's like 238. Point something else, so that has about double the Wi-Fi speed than this guy does next we'll go on to Best Buy's website like I always use, this website seems to be pretty texting on devices which is kind of funny since they're, a tech company or a company that sells tech at least one two. Three and of course the Samsung is going to win. Oh, and I should say before we get too much further into this. Of course, the Samsung is going to be better than the Amazon uh you're talking about over 800 devices, normally priced versus a barely over 100 devices.

So I know this. I am not I'm not deaf um, but I always like to see I always find it fun see how much faster the more way more expensive. The device is than the cheaper device, and I think other people like this as well. I guess, if you guys don't like this, then don't watch the video uh. I mean feel free to make a comment on it, because you'll just give me more uh YouTube, algorithm goodness, but we're going to go with Garmin one two three.

Furthermore, I love Garmin stuff, my favorite GPS and watch company. Furthermore, I also should mention this: has 120 hertz refresh rate on the s7 on the Samsung. This, of course, does not. If that's something that is important to you uh, then you have to go with this or the iPad Pro um. To me.

That's actually something I do not notice, so I should usually keep it turned off, but for this video, because it is something that it has it's a big feature that has, I do have it turned on and what I'm waiting for, of course, is the swirly hood uh quit swirling. Well, maybe six except fire is unavailable all right, let's go ahead, and we're going to hit the watch itself. Of course, bigger screen gives you a bigger target to hit. I want one of these watches too, but I'm not spending a grand on it. They are sweet, though I'm in their solar less, so Best Buy's website is kind of wonky.

It just takes a bit to load. You know on a higher end device like the s7 plus here hit overview, hit overview and that's what happens on a lot of devices. It kind of uh takes a moment to comprehend what you're trying to get it to do, hit review, hit reviews and, let's actually, click on a picture here, um that one looks good. That one looks good. Maybe there we go we'll go to Pok?mon.

com here. Let's make sure I can actually spell it correctly now. Type in Pok?mon, which I've done before, which is a completely different thing, actually comes up with nothing, but this the Samsung brings up the actual website. Amazon does not uh the desktop website. That is, of course, brings up the actual website and go ahead and hit Doug trio here crazy, how much brighter the screen is and don't get me wrong.

This is still like. You can definitely see and do everything on the screen. It's not amazing. It's super dim or anything uh, this thing's, just like the sun, it's so bright, all right. Let's get out of that! We're going to keep that open.

So that's when I think it's open whoops, I will go to YouTube uh that opened faster, even though I hit this one. First uh explore the plus subscription library, so when you're, actually on the app itself, they're, both pretty snazzy, pretty snappy, not snazzy, ROTC, free, music, royalty, free music show off these speakers real fast, so the make sure they're both turned down here before we start this, so the Samsung has four two up top two and bottom: the trim pointer quick side here the Amazon has two start off with this guy that is upside down. So we'll show you this. Can we do up to 720? Sorry, if you can hear my bird making noise downstairs shoes a lot of times earn your nursing or health. Well, I guess that does that all right, so uh, let me make sure I turn down this volume before we go into the gaming section here, yeah, I don't get copyright infringement.

Nobody wants that, and I said this has quad speakers instead of just a duel. I just so both sound decent Samsung definitely sounds better though uh it's louder. It's more crisp actually hit the off button. There uh we're gonna, keep these open, let's actually scroll down a bit, we'll keep that open uh. Next, I just downloaded raid on both of these.

I know it's a pretty graphic. Let me try and get that uh camera to cooperate. I know it's a pretty graphic. Graphically intense is that the right words here, uh apps we're going to go into raid. Okay, I've just download loaded this on both of them uh, of course, there's an extra of over a gig.

I guess we can see the download speed here. So this is real world as well right, download a game. You got download the updates uh. That picture is really cool all right, so there you go. S7 Samsung is already into it, says, of course, the beginning of the game.

Amazon is still downloading his stuff. That's a big opponent right now, the Amazon's into it so as the Samsung had no lag whatsoever. Of course, the Amazon is actually pretty good as well. There's a little of lag in the very beginning like as yeah, so there's a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of leg and, of course, that turned off oh, he died fast. So we're showing you guys some sideways gameplay here, so that Samsung is definitely smoother.

Amazon. Am I'm not saying that Amazon's horrible, but it does have a little of which is called lag? I don't know what the word would be there. A little of hiccups uh, nothing game breaking, but this is definitely smoother yeah see. There 's's. Definitely some lag on the uh on the dragon's breath all right.

So we'll do one more thing in this game here that is use the portal. Okay, all right now we're going to exit here and then one last thing we're going to do is go back into each of the apps that we were in, so first would be the browser we'll see how well the ram keeps them open here. Uh both are still the same, even though I turned it, even though I turned the devices sideways, even though I cannot speak all right. Samsung is doing this to me today. I have stuff open and will not let me go back into isn't that weird uh one other thing.

I don't. Let me know if you guys have had this issue, but uh yesterday, before the internet or the chrome. I don't know if it's chrome, I think it's just the Wi-Fi on here in general, was really cruddy. Uh tamed forever to load anything all my other devices were working, just fine Sam, the Samsung, s7 plus uh was not, and you guys can see here. It is again just not wanting to.

I don't do anything on this page, just fine, but the top here like it just doesn't work. It's weird. Let me know if that's happening to you guys too I'll go back into YouTube again. Both are both very good. This is actually starting.

The same add even I'll go back into the game. That's pretty impressive! Guys! If you ask me, that's pretty impressive. Both these are able to keep all that stuff, open, um, even the extra web pages and stuff um yeah. So let me know if that's having you guys anything weird like that on your Samsung. If you have the s7 plus or s7 uh, my a7 hasn't done that yet to me uh yeah, let me know what you guys think, which one do you guys like better? Do you think it's worth spending over eight hundred dollars for this thing or oh, let's just say, eight times the price for the s7 plus, or would you guys just rather get the 11 inch a seven, or would you guys rather get a cheaper, 110 or so devices from Amazon, uh yeah? Let me know what you guys think.
