How to Find HIDDEN Walmart Clearance Deals at Your Store

- Today, I'm going to show you how to score insider crazy clearance deals at your local Walmart. Plus how to unlock prices that very few people know exist. Welcome back to the channel. I'm the YouTube deal guy, Matt Granite. Imagine walking down the aisles of your local Walmart, seeing a price, and then using an app that will unlock a price that could be half of what you see advertised physically in-store. I'm gonna show you how to do this.

This is an easy trick. And although I've never made a video about this before, there actually is someone who does this regularly on YouTube his channel's name is Super Unsexy. He's awesome. There's a link in the video description box, so you can check out his channel. For my video today, as we head into Walmart, this is not a sponsored video and I'm really excited.

Okay, here we go. It's time for insider secret clearance deals at Walmart. Hey guys, it's me under here. The YouTube Deal Guy, Matt Granite. If you like this type of content, please give this video a thumbs up.

It helps the YouTube algorithm. And now without further delay, come on in, I'm gonna show you some insider secret clearance deals at Walmart. The only trick you need to unlock these unbelievably low prices that you will not see advertised in-store is download the Walmart app. And in addition to all of the sales and clearance items and rollbacks that you see in your local Walmart, the app, once you use this and you start scanning products, which I'm gonna show, you will unlock often significantly lower prices. Let's head over to the tech clearance section.

And as you guys can see, I've picked up a power bank, clearance price, $25. I pick up the Walmart app, I scan the price tag, and then I'm able to get it for $10 versus the 25 in-store. That's a difference of $15 on a $25 purchase. If you guys are wondering, how did that work? How did I do that? It's very simple. Just one step.

Just to make it clear. All I did was I scanned the item with the Walmart app. It first reveals the price at my local store, which is the $25 for the power bank. All you need to do then is click on the Walmart. com tab beside the, At Your Store tab.

And more often than not, this Walmart. com price will be lower than what's available at your local store. Take the lower price on your app to the associate at checkout, and they will give you the lower price. Walmart will price match against its own website. That's part of their Price Match Policy.

And if you thought that was cool, let me show you some other prices that I scanned and just how much lower the price was on the app. Let's take a stroll down one of my other favorite sales sections. It's the overall clearance aisle, where you can find things if you look carefully. Now, this is a bit of a treasure hunt, and that's one of the fun things about this method. You can have the app on your phone.

Your kids can have it. Everyone can be scanning and walking around. It's a great way to save money. Gives you a little bit of exercise in my case, this is as much as I will work out this month. I'm going to scan the Farberware on-the-go cordless blender.

They have an advertised price of $45. I scan it. I go between the, In This Store tab and the Walmart. com tab on the app. And I immediately see a better rollback price of $16.54. Guys, again, that's a difference of a $45 advertised price down to $16.54. I don't even like smoothies, but I'm now going to start making them just based on how much I saved.

Let's continue on. Heading over to the toy aisle, which is particularly well-timed with the holidays right around the corner. I scan the pump-action Nerf Rival, and instead of the advertised price of $19.88 I pull up a price of $15.88. Imagine how much this could add up on toy purchases if you've got several kids, a larger family, I've got nieces and nephews. The savings appear very quickly.

Sticking in the same aisle, I scan the Frozen 2 Disney Edition of monopoly and instead of a price of $15.88, which everyone else will be paying unless they're using this trick, I score price of $12.88. I get not a massive price drop, but I do have some huge price drops you're not going to believe in a few moments. But this does add up very quickly, especially when you're buying gifts or struggling to keep your family entertained on a budget. Then I headed over to the furniture aisle, and this is sometimes a hit and miss section. But if you are looking for a beanbag, like I am, $34.88 is the price that Walmart has advertised for me locally. I use the app, I scan it, $26.20 for the exact same item. And that $8 price drop makes me very happy.

What I learned very quickly on dozens of items that I might be buying over the course of a regular week, I can unlock lower prices, not just in the clearance section, but let's look at these American flags as an example. Not in the clearance section $18.87 is the advertised price. I scanned it and it's $17.99 as the online price. You might say, "That's just a dollar. " But at the end of the day, those dollars add up.

And rather than that money going to Walmart, I'd rather advocate for myself. Use this quick app, this trick, I'd put that cash back in my wallet, where it belongs. And by the way, guys, if you liked this video so far, please feel free to give it a thumbs up. Share it with someone if you think they might be able to benefit. Let me show you how this worked on two purchases I made for my daughter, and then we're going to get into some really substantial tech savings that you're gonna wanna stick around for.

So excited. All right. So the two purchases I made for my daughter, the Washable Paint Pour set, awesome, $19.97 price on the shelf. I use the app, $16.88. Washable is the key for the sake of our walls.

On the washable 64-pack of Crayola markers, $19.97 price on the price tag, which is what everyone else would be paying. You scan the app and you lock in a price of $16.88. And now it's time for things to get really interesting as I show you the tech savings that I scored and you're going to wanna stick around for this. Let's take a look at this All-in-One HP ENVY printer. Walmart advertises a price of $119.

And I can tell you just from my deal hunting background, that price is completely incorrect. Probably hasn't been updated. They should not be selling this printer for 119. And my app reveals the accurate in-store price of $89. And I think what's so important, guys, Walmart like any other retailer makes mistakes with its price tags.

And if you don't use the app in a situation like that, and you don't know that that printer is not listed correctly at all, you will be paying a much higher price. And for this situation, a $120 All-in-One with that model number, it might've deterred someone from making a purchase. $89 is much more palatable and watch how these savings add up on the next few purchases I'm going to show you. Let's look at something now that's in high demand that's actually price controlled and that's Windows 10. You're not going to find significant deals on Microsoft Windows 10, but if you are running the update rather than paying $139, like all the other Walmart shoppers, I scan the product and I unlock a price of 129.

You're not going to believe the price discrepancy that I found on the gaming aisle. And this is now with a very popular game that a lot of people are buying. Let's take a look at Sims 4. And this is a great holiday gift idea if you've got a lot of gamers, you can actually go through the gaming section, which becomes a treasure hunt of magnificence. But the advertised price of $39.82 is not what I pay when I scan the product, the exact same Sims 4 game, $19.99 is what I should be paying. And there are actually times over the course of the year where you can score games for as low as 3 cents in Walmart's gaming aisle when you scan it using the app.

I didn't have any luck with that on the particular day that I went, this is a great way to save money. You can run wild with it during the holiday season and unlock unbelievably cheap gaming prices. And again, I highlighted a $20 price discrepancy. That's huge. Now the next scan I'm going to show you is actually one of the most surprising because it's a $7.97 price to begin with. How much could that really drop? Take a look at the Irobot Braava Jet replacement pad.

Buy these for my Irobot vacs $7.97 is what you'll get on the Irobot Braava Jet listed price tag for the wet pad in the store. I scan this. The Braava jet wet pad is $2. That's a $5.97, almost $6 price drop on an $8 item. Now imagine being able to save $40 for a three-second scan using your smartphone.

That's what happened on this next tech purchase. I know for a fact my parents are in the market for a Garmin GPS unit. So I walk on over. Even in the case, I'm able to scan the price. You see a listed price in the case, I'm scanning through glass $229.

I pull up, 189.99. That is a $40 price drop. And don't be deterred just because an item is locked up or not something that you could actually put in your hand, you don't need to be able to handle it, to scan it and unlock the lower price. And that's just what I did right there. Everything that I showed you today is something that you can do on your next in-store trip or visit to Walmart.

If you have a smartphone, a few seconds, and the Walmart app, you could save 40, 50, $60 per shopping spree, depending on what it is you're looking for. And you definitely don't need me to tell you how quickly that adds up at a time where a lot of us are financially constrained, that's awesome. But just on your everyday purchases for things that you're already buying, why shouldn't that money go back to you or stay in your wallet rather than go to a corporation? Yeah, there you go. I hope you guys liked this video. A reminder, if you're looking for more insider tricks like this, or if you wanna see more of these inaction videos, I'd love to take you along for my next shopping spree, could be at any store of your choice.
