HANDS-ON - NEW Gold Apple Watch Series 6 (Comparing Old Gold vs. New Gold)

This is a public service announcement for all my bougie Apple Watch, loving kings and queens. Look no further. I have found the perfect Apple Watch for you. Lo and behold. The newly updated gold stainless steel Apple Watch Series 6. Apple, this time around decided to shake things up and not only update this new gold color, but also revised the space gray coloring into a newly reincarnated, lighter shade now called graphite.

I just released my hands on video with the new graphite series 6 alongside the brand-new graphite, Milanese loot band, make sure to watch it after this one on my hands on Apple Watch Series, 6, playlist or simply click the card at the top right. But in this quick little video we're going to compare and contrast the previous gold to the all-new gold series 6. , let me tell you: stunt mode is instantly flipped on when having this on the wrist fair warning be ready to feel like a million bucks. Let's hop right in and take a closer look, though, shall we so similar to space gray apple has also had a track record of experimenting with their gold colored hardware. Sometimes apple releases gold, but looks straight up, rose gold other times their gold is more of a brassy or darker gold, like the gold found on the series 4 in series 5.

But now this new gold punches you right in the gut because it's impossible not to notice it when having it on the wrist. This new gold offering looks more like actual gold and gives the watch the appearance of actual jewelry, rather than just one of those silly fitness trackers that are all the rage in 2020. It's quickly apparent that the previous one took the route of a brassiere, more subtle, look, it's like taking a gold coin and a US penny and combining the two, whereas the new gold is more of a show-off and turns heads just about anywhere. It's all about getting noticed, regardless of your band choice. The newer shinier and more energetic, yellow radiates.

This beautiful shine when in direct sunlight and looks absolutely jaw dropping when paired up with the new matching gold Milanese loop band when comparing the previous gold Milanese to the new one. The differences are minor, but you can definitely tell there's a difference. The previous gold almost looks straight up like a copper brown at times, depending on lighting, whereas the new gold retains consistency and always pulls through with elegance and class. This is obviously not pure gold, but it honestly resembles the series 0 18 carat, a lot more than the previous brassiere gold, so pulling up on the boys and flexing on them is mandatory. With this one.

I swear this new gold actually features a gold PVD coating that allows this watch to appear like straight up cash all the time. What I'm wondering is how well this new, lighter gold will hold up against scratches over time. The darker brassier gold is a total g and survived everything I threw at it with no real huge, visible, scratches or scuffs. I'm hoping this coating helps with scratches, so I'll make sure to update you guys as the weeks and months progress. I think of all the series 6 choices, including the aluminum and titanium models.

This specific gold stainless steel series 6 is the unique. You might absolutely hate this new flashy gold and that's ok. It definitely will draw more attention with its brighter luster as compared to the previous gold. Only downside is now. I find it even harder to match up bands.

It was already tough enough with the previous gold, but now this brighter gold calls for brighter bands. Maybe I don't know surprisingly, though, some darker bands go amazing with this watch, including the black solo loop and some leather bands, just to name a few. The darker tones of the band accentuate the shiny gold even more, and it provides a more balanced look than having all that bedazzle on your wrist when paired up with the matching Milanese loop, the new series 6 gold, offering is mostly for those that want to get noticed those interested in making a statement matching up with your fit or for those wanting an Apple Watch that resembles traditional jewelry yo. The gold stainless steel series, 6, is where it's at the biggest downside, though, is the limited band selection that matches up appropriately. I mean, if you like, matching those tacky band combinations like this gold.

Stainless steel with say a classic stainless steel link bracelet then you do you, but for me those tacky combinations are 100 percent, not the move and this new gold offering limits those band combinations in my opinion, but make no mistake: it will catch people's attention, and you'll likely receive a ton of compliments, especially with all the new watch faces that released alongside watch OS 6. , I'm curious to know what you guys think do you prefer the older brassiere gold or this newly refined and shinier new gold for the series 6. Let me know in the comments below and stay tuned for, more hands-on looks at all the new Apple Watch Series 6 offerings. We still have to take a look at both the titanium and space gray, titanium, as well as the blue and product red series, 6. , so make sure to stay tuned.

That's been it for me. Guys hope. You've enjoyed this quick, video and appreciated the b-rolls with all of these amazing band combinations, I'm clocking out for now, as it's been non-stop lately, but I love the grind and making sure you guys are as informed as possible with all the latest tech until next time take care, and I can't wait to catch you all in my next video you.
