Google Pixel XL - Unboxing - First Impressions - Hands on - 4K By Tech Zilla

Hi guys it's Godzilla back again with another unboxing. This time is the pixel TO by google. I've got the 128 gigabytes in the quite black color. It comes in very silver, and they blew or something I. Don't know you can look them up this silver black and blue. That's pretty much what the colors are.

I've had it for a couple of days, I have been using the handset by Reebok stood just for the sake of the video I'm also got the official pixel TO case, which I'll be doing a review of soon I've got the crystal shell, which I'll be reviewing. I've also got the rugged armor and the tough armor so hit that subscribe button. Guys you don't miss out on my reviews for those cases because. You know I'm number one when it comes to case reviews, pretty much plain box very classy. Looking very nice you're for this up, simple, straightforward and voil?, that's the big show, that's what you'll come to see as I said: I've had the phone out already, but refactored is actually still switched on, so your personal Google Assistant is always ready to help just press.

The home button so will unwrap that now, for you guys and put that to one side for a minute bear with me, and I'll show you off you get in the box as well. You've got this little booklet here which, basically, let's go you open it. You put your sim ejector tool and lots of pamphlets, no one's ever going to read. So if I can go to one side now in here, you get this cable, which is USB type-c to USB. Nice cable wish it wasn't in white folks.

It starts to turn that to the dirty gray, color after you've been you've been using. It there's a little adapter in here or dongle. We're going to call it a USB type-c, and you can plug a full-sized USB cable into that, which is quite nice. I haven't used any of the accessories yet guys in case you're wondering I tend not to use the accessories that come in the box. So when I saw the phone on this door mint, that's the charging brick, it's a quick charge break this one.

The top of the of these matches, the color of whichever pixel you get. Sir I've got black extra white black color one, so the top this black in the blue. This will be blue and if you get silver, this would be the white color try and bring them to focus. So you guys can see there the figures, so it's yep, it's quick charge. Output is 5 volts at bare with me guys, I, don't got my glasses on I'll.

Bring that really close. So you can see there any way you can find out. That's not difficult to find out. It's definitely a quick charge. Three-Point! Oh- and this is the main charging cable USB, see to us bc and these little blue clips here on the cables.

That's just to make it easier to put this stuff away when you're, traveling and stuff like that to carry so, let's check the box out of the way, give you my quick first impressions or walking for the phone. This is again all this glory Olmec, let the back. Apart from this glass part of the top, which is a sort of charcoal II gray. This isn't look black to me. This is more a sort of gunmetal gray.

My opinion, by quite like a Google logo and tell our lines another antenna line there, one at the top there and one on this side. You've got your power button, which is got a nice sort of hatched design on the restroom, etch designs, you can feel and metal power, rocker very solid feeling, buns and I mean in a good way show the top there you put your 3.5 mil jack, either your flash, your camera and your sensors and a little microphone there I think that's a microphone it's difficult to see in this life, but take my word for it. Fingerprint sensor bill in there's where your SIM card goes. It's unusual in this day and age have much such a small sim card slot because it doesn't take a memory card, as you guys, obviously know, and now the bottom you've got your USB charging port there, and this surprised me actually from all the other videos I've seen I thought the speaker build this side, but it's not it's actually here and decides the microphone. So it's a single speaker on this side.

Only it's not on this side right traditionally is on mobile phones. M build quality is solid. It feels like a HTC made fun and the edges are really rounded, so it feels really nice to hold in hand and the top part here is actually thicker than the bottom part and the reason they've done. That is easier to hold in hand like that much easy to hold, and you know why I actually feel it feels really comfortable to hold this phone. Even that's a 5.5-inch screen. It feels nice to me personally, and you can't, you feel that it's losing quality.

There 5.5 inch 2k resolution, you get your front facing camera, earpiece and sensors. If I hit the pub see the animation del to show you that again, but it's not gonna, do it now because being a pain and mass there, we go see how that's beautifully smooth the way that works, and you swipe up to get to all your menus, which you've all seen your this funky little animations, all over the place like their try, bring that close, see that those little dots coming up, and now I want to say this. I haven't I've been using it for a couple of days, guys and first impressions. I really like this answer personally. He said this overpriced, which is your know neither here nor there, but I actually quite like this handset, and you can use the fingerprint sensor to bring down your notification tray.

As you can see there she's a nice touch now, I've put I've roughly been getting around about. Let me think about seven hours, just over seven hours screen on time, and I've been using for a couple of days, so hopefully that will get even better. So it's not too bad and standby time, I'm pretty sure would be closed. I'm hoping we'll be close to my iPhone 7 plus, but that will be coming in my review later on. In a few days full of you, um memory is using 2.5 gigs of three point: seven gigabytes, that's available storage; it comes with 119, gigs of actual usable storage because the handset actually uses up around about nine gigabytes, just for the system itself, and now surprisingly, the speakers quite nice on this- and you know it's a single speaker- it's got some nice weight to it when it was working and display. Brightness now I've got night light turned on, so we switched off for you guys.

Can you see the difference now? I'll switch you back on, but that's quite a big difference. So I'll switch your for the sake of the video and wallpapers. You've got loads of wallpapers that come with it. I'm using this one at the moment so live earth. Our world wallpapers actually move when you on the phone.

If you see that animations there, so this one so there's quite fit this one's. Quite nice I love how that one? Just what about my works? I'll show you that one again very soul, but very nicely done really classy fun. Now I used to have a note 7, but unfortunately you all know I had to return it um, and I've got of what the get a lot of phones guys. So if you, if you're looking in the marketplace for a replacement for your buck, 7 I can't really say this is right for you guys, because it hasn't got anywhere near as many features of the note 7 um, but I'll do more of that in the main review, guys. So sorry I'm going to have too much debt for now ambient display wake screen.

When you receive notifications, I've got that turned off, but that just irritates the hell out of me. Every time I pick up the phone. The screen comes on I'll switch on at the moment and default display size. So you've got different settings as you can. It actually increases the size of the desert? How big the icons and stuff like that I've left on default, because I think that's a pretty good balance um.

Where else is there that can quickly go through with you guys, so I would tap and pay set up which I'll be testing? So it's not look. If you look through here, it's not actually that many there's not actually that many menus of options, because it is made by google, is pure Android. So let's have a quick look at gestures so to check. You know if it's just swipe down on the fingerprint sensor, which always shown you guys I'll show you again, which is nice and tap to quickly open camera, just double tap the power button which I'll show you. Now you get a little buzz, and it fires in nice, very nice, and if you flip the camera like that flip it like this, when it's the cameras, open you'll, go from back camera to selfie camera.

So that's about the pretty much that all you get in terms of moves and gestures and stuff like that see our animation again now it's a very expensive phone, 128 gigs was around by think 800 mm something per eight hundred sixty pounds, something like a hundred twenty pounds. You can find out online guys and I'm pretty sure this for why this phone is not about features. This is about pure unadulterated, Android. Its software versus married to the correct hardware is my iPhone 7 plus there's my pixel XL. Look how similar they look.

They look and in a darker light, because I've got strong camera lights on at the moment, you can see that charcoal gray color in the glass, but a normal lighting that looks very pitch black and if I turn it rock them both round, they both must be cases on guys. This is going to shock. You quietly look how similar they look with, especially these cases on that sort of oval Kyle on both, and they're. Very similarly sized believe you're not, but the pixel feels a lot easier to hold in hand, and it doesn't feel that heavy it's got a nice balance day. Because I'll bind with my own money first impressions that I really like here, I actually really enjoy using a few very smooth. It feels very polished, very similar in style to the iPhone 7 plus. The difference is the iPhone 7 plus, in my opinion, is more sort of work orientated. It's a more work or intake machine and where I find the pixel at the moment is Moore's law for leisure and fun purposes. I have tried the camera, and so far so good, but I'll be doing a full test of that for the review and by the time you've seen this video I've had the phone for a good few days anyway, and so first impressions, I love the phone, I think is beautiful.

I think it's very, very well-made I. Think it's very smooth operating system, I think, is pure Android and I recommend it at the moment. If you can afford the price- and you want the best of what Google has to offer this- is if it's not about features it's about smoothness and quality? That's it guys.
