Google Pixel 5 Leaks: EVERYTHING changes

This is good. The nine-to-five just got the five specs. What the pixel has been a complicated phone. It's excelled beyond almost any other smartphone in the camera department and often times in the software department as well. There's always been one thing: it's kind of held it back from being the Android phone to recommend for everybody, but what, if Google didn't have to compete in those same crowded waters? What if they found another niche where the pixel 5 could flex and be everything that Google hopes it could be, and everything that consumers I think are looking for. So oftentimes phone secrets are revealed early through code and the pixel 5 appears to be no exception.

So folks, at 9 to 5 Google did some really awesome digging in an unreleased camera APK and the same Camry PK has revealed details about the pixel 4 and 4 XL in the past. So its track record is pretty good, so what they found was code names for presumably the pixel 5 and 5 Excel, not surprising. But what was interesting was the processor. These phones are going to be using Nate, expects pixel 5 to use the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm. That's what they've always done to fix the line inspected.

Would you use the 865 but was interesting? Was these leaked showing it's gonna, use the lower 765 G processor and comparable phones that have this processor, sometimes between 30 and 50%, less powerful than 865? But it's also significant LY less expensive, Nate 65. So it appears that Google is stepping back from really the crowded flagship, thousand-dollar smartphone, but if he didn't get sort of the premium, mid-range tier I think it's an amazing place for Google to be so by Google's Odd mission and sort of sales numbers. The for Excel have not been huge. Sellers for pixel line has really never the number one selling phone or even in the top five ever, but the three a line was a huge success for them. So perhaps that through a reset, what they thought, the pixel line should be imagined paying six seven hundred bucks for the amazing Google camera experience.

Perhaps the best camera experience going. So you won't have things like 8k video I can easily deal without that you get a stock and your experience you get the Google support with updates. The quick updates that come you'll have 5g support, which is built into 765 G chip, which is pretty awesome. A better battery life, then you'll get on the 65 little less power, but people who are going to buy this phone and at that price point will change expectations and another thing that I found interesting about the pixel lines. Usually I came out around October, which is after the iPhone after the Galaxy S line.

After the note line generally after OnePlus served the last of the flagship phones and the new Snapdragon chips, that's generally get announced in January, so there's only a few months to have the newest chipset. Before the next one gets announced to the specs, despite being flagship or kind of almost outdated by the time, the phone eventually started shipping. So by sort of resetting that and maybe change to release a window, I think it makes a pixel v a much more appealing phone, so trying to nail. The price point is interesting for the pixel v. So if the rumors hold true, the for an is going to come in at 400 bucks.

So where should the v come in? I? Think a $600 price point for the five and seven hundred for the five XL, while still being a bit on the higher end. For that premium, mid-range I still think is a perfect place for them to be so. Your 300 bucks less than the thousand-dollar flagships, and you know the 1400 our flagships out there, certainly your less than but also its price point I think is more accessible. It might be more of an impulse upgrade for 600 bucks. I could see upgrading my phone more regularly than I could for a phone.

That's a thousand plus. This is interesting time for the pixel. The lines was to hit in April there are discounts to be had on the floor in the four excel on the five this supposed to hit towards the end of the year. So whatever pixel you get, there's a lot of choices to be had right now, but with the biggest discounts happening to 300 bucks. In the for Excel, that might be the pixel to get an extra $100 over what the is going to be to still get that better, build quality and the really awesome facial recognition, that's built in to the for Excel line that you'll miss with the I maintain.

It's always a good idea to protect your phone also have a bit of personality. I. Think the best way to do that. It's a D brand skin I am loving the collaboration with Zach from jury-rigged everything with their tear down skins. It looks like you can just x-ray right into the phone they're an awesome way to keep everything safe and show a bit of personality.

So if you want to check them out, link to them down below, perhaps what's making me most excited about the pixel 5 is even a pixel 5. It's the rumors of the ultra pixel, and now you've got separation between these two lines. I, don't think Delta pixel, if it ever does come out. All theoretical at this point would have made sense if you're competing with its thousand dollar-plus. You know brother of the pixel 5 kept that flagship path that it appeared to be on, but at a 5, $600 price point 7 another price point, and then you offer that thousand dollar-plus phone.

Then the expectations are different. So I think this is actually setting the stage very clearly for ultra pixel, and maybe it's on a phone that Google has to sell hundreds of thousands of. Maybe it could be sort of they're out in the open development phone for what the pixel line will eventually be, and that is incredibly exciting and I. Think now more than ever, delta pixel actually makes sense.
