Google Pixel 4 XL #TeamPixel Oh So Orange Unboxing! By Shannon Morse

What up s'mores I'm Shannon Morse, welcome to my YouTube channel, all about travel and technology, and today I have a really quick video for you, but I wanted to go ahead and get it out there. This morning, I was super excited because FedEx very lightly tapped on my door to the point where, if I wasn't listening closely enough, I probably would have missed this delivery, but I got a box in the mail. It's sitting right next to me and I think that this is the pixel for, or maybe it's a pixel for, excel I, don't know, yet we're going to unbox it on this channel together, and I will show you my unboxing as well as my first impressions of the new Google Pixel 4 or XL. If you have any questions- or you just want to like it and show your support, I, truly appreciate that as well now, I'm going to go ahead and get to the unboxing show you some close-ups of what is in here, and hopefully it's a phone and not like a Starbucks coffee cup that I ordered from Korea, because I do that to this unboxing. The first thing at the very top is just a blank piece of white paper, so I'm just going to toss that to the side underneath that we have the G Google logo on this little envelope.

The bottom of the envelope says hashtag made by Google and the top of it has the G logo for Google. If I open that envelope, it comes with a couple of different things. This is a letter and then, underneath that we have a piece of paper that says hi to your new Google Pixel 4. So it does look like this is a Google Pixel 4. We're excited to introduce you to the latest from Google.

So underneath that piece of cardboard there is also this box, which I'm assuming the pixels for is in I'm, totally cheating right now, there's a pixel 4 in there, and it says making help magical with the hashtag made by Google and there's also the G logo on the side. There's nothing else written on here, so I'm going to go ahead and open it up it's upside down. Ok, so I'm going to turn it around. So you can actually see it on the side of the packaging.

It does say a helpful gift for you. We know you get a lot of gifts that just fill up your drawers. This isn't one of them meet pixel for the phone made the Google way it's built around the Google software. You know and love. Learn more at google. com. Slash, grow, ok, so I'm going to go ahead and take this box out and set that to the side. What is this Oh? A piece of tissue paper? That's very fancy: I get tissue paper whenever I open up like little anime products from Japan that I buy it all the time, because Sailor Moon is amazing.

Okay, so this is oh, it's the Pixel 4 XL case, as it says, right there. So I'll go ahead and open. There's a couple of pieces of tape on there and, let's see what it looks like ooh. Oh, wait: does this mean they sent me the orange one? Oh my god, I hope it does okay. So this is the case that they sent with the phone.

This is the really pretty coral color I think they call it not coral or something on the website, but this is a fabric phone case. It's a really nice fabric. The side of it does have some buttons built-in. So there's the power button and the volume button there's a cutout for the camera, a little G logo at the bottom there's a cutout at the bottom for the charger and then the inside has this really nice. It almost feels like a suede interior that keeps your phone from getting scratched or anything, and then it says Google Pixel, four at the bottom right there does that mean you can wash it I wonder if it do I'm going to have to look and see if I can actually like wash this case because.

That would be really nice. Okay. So that's the case. This I'm actually going to open up with you on camera, because I want to know what color it is, and I want you to see my reaction, so I'm going to go ahead and take off the little sticky bits on the back of this box. The front of it just says: p4 pixel for the sides say Google in pixel for Excel, so they did send me an Excel phone and that's about it.

So I really wanted white or orange, which are called clearly white and, oh, so orange I believe I didn't want the black one, which is called just black because it has a very shiny backing to it, as opposed to a matte back which the orange and the white one do, because that would pick up fingerprints and stuff like that. I really like the matte glass coating on the back of the pixel 3xl, so I was hoping to get the same thing in this phone as well. I'm, also hoping that it's a 128 gig I've had a 64, gig pixel three XL and I record video on this thing. So often that I find a lot of times. I run out of storage space, especially if I'm on the go and I don't have anywhere to connect and backup.

All of my pictures and videos to the cloud also I am aware that this only backs up. Mayra is not unlimited with Google photos. I didn't want to throw that out there, but I will be doing a full review of this product once I've had a few days with it. So you will see that probably next week, so let's go ahead and open it and hope that it is orange or white, so I'm going to close my eyes, and I'll. Let you all see it before I do.

Hopefully you can see it I, don't! Oh sorry, neighbors I feel so bad I'm in like an apartment complex, so they probably think I'm weird over here, but it's orange yeah. That's awesome! Oh, I'm! So happy! That's so cool! This is the limited edition color. So that's really exciting. They said be orange yay! Oh, it's so cute, it's so very Halloween too. So perfect timing for my basic self.

Oh, my goal. Okay! So before I unwrap this I'm gonna check out what else is inside the box. So here we have the phone before I unwrap that I'm going to see what else is in this box alongside it. So I'll set that to the side. So we have the little compartment where the phone goes looks like this is where you have your sim removal tool, a user guide.

Okay, all the paperwork's and that's good in here we have an oh. This is the little USB-C transfer tool right here, and then we also have USB-C 2 USB-C. This is 3.1 Gen, 1 cable. So this should allow for quick charging with the phone that's exciting, and then we also have a new charging AC power supply unit for the wall. Everything you need to charge your phone.

There are no headphones in here. No USB-C headphones, which is kind of unfortunate, so I will probably use the ones from my previous phone and use them with this new Pixel 4 XL. Even though they're not my favorite, they are free, and they are wired. So I really appreciated that it's kind of unfortunate that they didn't include any in here, so I will go ahead and unwrap the phone and give you a few first impressions. Sorry, my nails aren't done.

I didn't have time to go because I felt like recording a video, was more important than going to the nail salon. So sorry, don't judge me there's a little of dust in here, but luckily that is oh, so satisfying. Okay, so there's the front the screen we do have a bezel along the top and I think part of that is because they have so many sensors up here. There's one camera not two and there's a radar sensor up there, which is the project sold sensor that allows you to do. Motion sense and stuff like that I'll be getting into that further.

Where are the speakers on this thing? Is it dual speakers I hope its dual speakers I, listen to YouTube videos so often on my phone, so this thing better have good speakers. Are they in the bottom? Are those the two speakers is it? Are they both on the bottom? I hope they're, not both on the bottom, because if I'm holding my phone like this I'm going to block the sound, so that's going to be interesting. I'll definitely share my thoughts on that for sure I'll go ahead and turn it on and see if it has any charge. Okay, so there's your screen, we have a kind of muted orange color right there, and this is a nice aluminum frame along the sides, and it is in black. So you get this really nice orange of black Halloween color, going on here very trendy I like it.

That's where your dual cameras are on the back along with a flash or in my case a flashlight there's also a sensor up at the top for probably autofocus, and then this is your nice matte glass back I believe this is Gorilla Glass, but I'm not sure if I'll check on that too then, there's a nice little shiny G at the bottom, for the Google branding. Very pretty. It's really, really soft, like a nice soft touch, so it feels perfect. It feels just like the three XL actually, so I like that: a lot very high quality and there's your screen. Furthermore, it's looking guide I'm, one of those weirdos that doesn't really mine, bezels, that much so having a bezel at the top, and the bottom I feel like is not going to bother me all that much I will definitely give it some time and let you know in the future, if that's an issue or anything but I, don't think it's going to be an issue at all.

I, really like what it looks like so far, okay folks, so here is your Google Pixel for Excel in So Orange. The limited edition color I will be giving this a full review, as I mentioned, I will be taking this out over the weekend and getting some photography I'm going to be going to the Northern California Renaissance Fair with it. If you are going to be there on Saturday I will likely be there unless something comes up last-minute, but chances are I'll, be there in my corset and my entire garb of filming with the Google Pixel for Excel.
