Samsung Galaxy S21: EVERYTHING coming at Unpacked 2021! By 9to5Google

With rumors of a proposed unpacked event planned for early January Samsung Galaxy s, 21 series leaks are reaching a tipping point. Just what can we expect to see at the first unpacked of 2021, though? So, while the design of a smartphone is often subjective, Samsung has carved out a reasonably solid path for the galaxy s series that skirts a fine line between innovative and attractive. We really didn't know if the Korean firm would shake up the design too much this time around, but it looks like we'll see yet another refined device this year coming early rumors suggested that the galaxy s21 series would potentially ditch some premium materials and even refer back to flat displays across the entire series. The flat display will undoubtedly prove to be a wise decision as we're seeing more and more manufacturers dropped curved panels in favor of more usable flat displays. Naturally, you don't need rumors and tidbits to explain just how the galaxy s21 sizing will work like here's previous.

The base s21 will be the smallest, the s21 plus being the middle option, while the largest will be the galaxy s21 ultra, they will measure in at 6.2, 6.7 and 6.8 inches respectively. The display looks to follow the recent Samsung trends of shaved bezels with very little device. Real estate lost, as the AMOLED panel stretches to almost the very edge of the casing. There's a central control notch along the top bezel. As far as designs go, it's just a refinement of recent years.

The rear panel of the entire galaxy s21 series looks to have some little tweaks and alterations there too. For the base, galaxy, s21, rumors suggest a plastic panel will be used. It's not entirely clear if the galaxy s21 plus will come with a plastic rear panel, but previous leaks do strongly suggest that will be the case. As for the high-end galaxy s21 ultra, it looks like it will come with a matte glass panel at the rear. We're sure this will prove to be a point of contention for hardcore Samsung fans out there, considering that this is indeed a premium.

Smartphone series Samsung also looks to have channeled the phantom of the Xperia with their rear camera modules. This time around a strange wraparound camera notch at the rear upper left corner will house all of those main camera components. As for that weird wraparound camera bump, it may look strange, but the galaxy s, 21 series, camera setup, solidifies the setup that we've seen on the galaxy s20 and note 20 series in 2020 expect to see that 108 megapixel main center again, but only on the ultra model. The galaxy s21 and s21 plus will come with a triple camera setup that consists of a 12 megapixel main sensor, 12 megapixel ultra-wide sensor and 64 megapixel telephoto zoom lens. As for the s21 ultra as the top tier device in the series, we know that it will come with a 108 megapixel main sensor: 12 megapixel, ultra-wide 10 megapixel 3x optical telephoto, zoom lens and 10 megapixels, 10x optical zoom lens.

We only know that the Samsung Galaxy s200 ultra will come with a 40 megapixel selfie camera. As for the s21 and s21 plus we're actually not that sure. At this stage we said that the camera module looked eerily similar to the mask won by the phantom of the opera. Well, Samsung is really leaning into it, with the color naming conventions this time around leaks and renders have effectively confirmed all the colors coming, and they are all phantom versions of colors we've likely seen elsewhere. The only downside, though, is it looks like Samsung is going to reduce the number of options available for the galaxy s21 series wholesale.

You won't have quite as much choice, but if you opt for the larger devices, the s21 ultra is only coming in two options that said, you'll be able to get the galaxy s 21 in a phantom violet phantom, pink phantom gray and phantom white. The s21 plus will come in phantom silver phantom, black and phantom violet, while the galaxy s21 ultra will be available in phantom black and phantom silver. Thanks to some early leaks, we have a pretty good idea of what the s21 series will be packing come launch for those in North America, you'll be seeing the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 chipsets. This will offer impressive performance gains over the previous generation, including the snapdragon 865. Those of us in the rest of the world are likely to see the rumored Enos 2100 chipsets from Samsung within the galaxy s21 series.

A launch date is planned for the latest flagship Xmas series on january 12, 2021. That is actually two days before this supposed unpacked 2021 launch event has been widely touted for the next Samsung flagship smartphones. Naturally, there are some differences between each of the new handsets with the ultra model, coming with some notable display and internal bumps. That said, we'd imagine that the s21 plus is likely to be the sweet spot for most people, given the proposed internal specifications. So, to summarize, the galaxy s21 will come with a 6.2 inch, 120 hertz, full HD plus AMOLED panel, the snapdragon, 888 or Enos 2100 will not show the ram allowances, but it will have a 128 gigabyte based storage variant, a 4 000 William hour battery. It will ship with android 11, with one UI 3.0 on top and connectivity will be offered by 5g, Wi-Fi 6 and with Bluetooth, 5.1 connectivity. The s21 plus, will just have a larger 6.7 inch display. It, too, will have a 128 gigabyte base storage model with a 256 gigabyte option available.

The battery is rated at 4 800 William hours, and the connectivity and software remains the same. The galaxy s 21 ultra, though, will come with a 6.8 inch adaptive hertz panel, that is rated at HD plus it will have 12 gigabytes of ram option, 128 256 and 512 gigabyte storage variants and a massive 5000mah battery. It will have 5g Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and it too will also ship with android 11 a standard. It's yet another case of preparing your wallets. If you are planning on picking up the galaxy s21 series off contract, not that many people do, and we're staring down the barrel of some inflated entry prices, the galaxy s21 is rumored to launch at a price of 849 euros in Europe.

While the galaxy s 21 plus, will start at 1049 euros for the 128 gigabyte storage variant prices will rise to 1099 euros for the 256 gigabyte storage model, while the galaxy s 20 on ultra price rumors hint that a 1399 euro price tag for the top tier early, 2021 Samsung flagship device, is coming soon. That said, we're not sure just how these prices will translate across borders. At this stage, we have a good idea that Samsung is planning that January 14th launch event for the galaxy s21 series given Samsung's recent history. We'd expect you to be able to pre-order at the close of this lightly online-only event, with devices probably available in stores by the end of January 2021. However, that is speculation on our part with covered 19, still playing havoc with global supply chains.

We simply don't know at this stage. Well, what else can we expect? As part of this unpacked event, well, we have heard rumors that Samsung is going to effectively end the Galaxy Note series and begin the merging process with the galaxy s series. It's still not concrete, but we do know for certain that you will be able to use an s pen with the galaxy s21 ultra. That is more definitely a signal of intent from Samsung that no note series days really are numbered. We also know that Samsung is set to follow apple and not offer a charging brick in the box with the galaxy s21 series.

We're not sure why the company keeps doing this and embarrassing themselves only to have to eat their words at a later date. But that said, you will have to purchase an extra charge. Brick if you want to charge any of the galaxy s21 devices in certain regions. The only other notable is that, alongside these three new smartphones, Samsung is also expected to reveal yet more Bluetooth, earbuds in the form of the galaxy, but pro think of these as more of a follow-on to the original Galaxy Buds and not the bean-like Galaxy Buds live they'll come with some interesting spatial audio features that has been made more prominent by apple but not invented by them. The updated buds are expected to be priced at around 200 and will come in three colors, violet, silver and black.

That said, that's just about everything we expect from the galaxy s21 launch event, but we want to open the floor to you what be on the leaks and even including the leaks.
