What subset gangsta fun here from tech right, and today we got a mystery package from Google. Pretty sure you guys know what it is from the title, but let's go ahead and open this up. Stay tuned, snappy box right here, pretty, pretty big box indeed, but we're going to go and take the top off this see. What's inside here, I'm, pretty sure you guys have a little idea of what's inside this, let's go ahead. Unbox this all right! Everyone, let's go and take this top off, see what's in here, boom, alright, everyone! So, first and foremost, it looks like we have a letter in here. It says: Google, Pixel 3a is finally here, and we'd like you to be among the first to have one.
So if you guys want to actually go ahead and pause it and read that yes and go ahead and do so, but I don't want to bore you next thing we have in this box is one month free of Google 5, which is awesome. Definitely going to go ahead and try that out. Next we have the Google Pixel 3a and the purplish color. This is the one that actually wanted, so I'm really hyped unboxes. Next we have the hashtag: team, pixel, pop socket, pretty cool stuff.
We also have a Pixel 3a case. I may or may not do a separate video on this, not sure yet awesome stuff right here definitely love the material design of the case, though, really excited about this one and last but not least, it looks like we have 18 pixel totes or shopping bag. If you guys want to go ahead and say that, but it looks like that's all we have inside this box, but thank you, Google really appreciate. This definitely excited to be a part of Team pixel. You guys already know if you don't follow me on Instagram I talked about what was inside this box already, but let's go ahead and unbox the Google Pixel 3a, alright everyone.
So this is the Google Pixel 3a, and it looks like they sent me the regular 3a one, not the XL and yeah. This looks like it's. The purplish color, which is the color that I actually wanted I, feel like this color definitely goes hard, and it's the new color. So why not? Let's go to unboxes go and take these pull tabs off got one right there. One right here tip this over and there we go.
This is where the phones at right here, let's go and take this out. Put it through. The side definitely feels a little heavier than I thought. It was gonna, feel I thought this was gonna, be really light from what people were saying, but obviously everyone's super dramatic about the know feel and the weight of this. So let's go and put this aside.
Next, we have the SIM tray ejector, we have the pixel user guide. We have some team pixel stickers. We also have our basic safety guide. Next thing we have right here is our migration adapter. Now this is basically for transferring files and different applications from your old phone to your new Google Pixel 3ei.
We also have USB type-c to type-c data cable, and the last thing we have in here is our 18 watt fast charger and I heard some crazy things about this device. I guess you can get seven hours of charge off of literally 15 minutes of charging your device, which is pretty insane, but we're going to go ahead and test that out later on, let's go ahead and take this phone out of the wrap right here, see how it looks see how it fills in hand. Everything else. So here is the phone right here. Definitely a sexy.
Looking phone, if you guys want me to compare it to any type of phone I, would compare it to the iPhone XR. Obviously it is a little taller than the iPhone XR, as you guys can see right here, so it's going to be a little longer device in the iPhone XR, but we're going to do our full comparison with these devices. Later on. First and foremost, we have our polycarbonate back, which actually feels frosted right here on a part of it actually feels good. Definitely feels good in hand.
Definitely feels substantial. I know a lot of people were saying it felt cheap in my opinion, doesn't feel cheap so far, but we have the Google logo at the bottom, the phone. We have the fingerprint sensor with the LED flash, and we have the rear-facing camera right here now. Obviously, this is pretty much gonna. Have the Google Pixel 3 cameras on this device, so the cameras are going to be outstanding on this device.
They're going to be excellent, so you guys already know I'm super hyped for that now bomb the device we have a USB type-c port. We also have our speaker and I believe. One of these is our noise, cancelling mic as well. Next thing we have right here is the power button and the volume up and down button definitely love that they change this to yellow I love. How Google does this for all their pixels? They change the power button.
Color, really like that. A lot I've set a device. It looks like we have our SIM tray top of the device. It looks like we have our 3.5 their head jag, and we also have a noise-cancelling mic in hand. So far, though, definitely feels nice.
It feels substantial from what people were saying in their videos. They said it was feeling cheap, but honestly, this feels decent. This definitely feels decent lighter than your average phone, but it still feels pretty substantial. We're going to go ahead and boot. This up, though, really quick, tell you how everything goes, alright, guys, so I boot up the phone, and I was playing with it for a while and I have to say this phone has surprised me so far.
The screen definitely looks really, really good. Obviously, we have a 3000 William battery inside this device and Google actually claims that you can get seven hours of battery life on this device within 15 minutes, which is insane we're going to go ahead and try that out later, but some other specifications that we see on this device are four gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage. So far, this device has been running great, though obviously this is going to be the cleanest version of Android, which is Google. We also have the latest software on this device, and we're actually going to be having the latest software for the next three years. So Google is gonna, actually support software updates for the Google 3ei for up to three years.
So for $399. This is looking like an amazing device. Now, obviously, the good stuff on this device is a low price only $399. We also have an excellent camera that we're going to check out in a second, and we have a very, very clean Google version of Android now the bad stuff in this device. What everyone has been talking about is no water resistance, which I really couldn't care about.
No wireless charging again I really couldn't care about, don't even use it. Wireless charging is very slow honestly, in my opinion, I love to use connected charging, and this has a slow processor. Another thing you have to say for the slow processor is yeah. This doesn't have an 800 chipset inside this device isn't rocking like the best processor, but this has optimization, which a lot of different phones are lacking. Google does seem to have the best optimization in the Android space, so I'm really excited about the future about this phone.
Obviously we have the big chin and forehead on this device. This isn't going to host any sort of notch, so we are going to have some screen real estate loss right here. This is going to in fact be a 5.6-inch screen, but honestly, it's subjective, if you guys, like that, you like it, if you don't, you don't I personally, don't really care if the screen isn't too big, I really do enjoy the colors, though so far on this device with the OLED panel. This is going to be a full HD panel and everything just looks really, really good for $399. Now, Google did something amazing right here.
So Google did something a lot different, the most companies they released, a decent phone with good, optimization and amazing cameras for a very, very affordable price and I think this device is going to sell very, very well just because of that $399 price point. This is an entry-level pixel that you can get for 399 that that's insane to me. I'd even have Google Pixel in mind because of the prices, but now that they're only $399- this is a snow guy. So far, this is a still. Obviously, let me give my full review, but so far this is looking like a still we're going to go ahead and test out the cameras, though, and we're going to call it a day.
Absolutely this is going to have the latest Android software in this device, and we're gonna actually have that for the next three years. So really awesome stuff right here, so we're going to test out the rear facing camera right here, really quick in the three two one go and yep. The detail is amazing. On this device, the detail is absolutely amazing. On these cameras are probably gonna, be unbeaten and the Android space really good-looking stuff right.
Here. It's going take a look at the front-facing camera and there we have it guys that is insane how much detail we get from this camera, a three hundred and ninety-nine dollar phone guys. This is literally $399. This is one of the best cameras I have ever used on an Android device, especially for $399. Now, if you guys are looking for a device that has an amazing camera at a very, very affordable price, you guys have to be looking towards the Google 3a.
You know just my first impressions of this device, amazing stuff. So far, this isn't me being fake, Google didn't pay me. They just sent me the phone, absolutely love it so far. This is a type of phone that I would get to save money because I am honestly a penny. Pitcher I don't have the latest and greatest in my pocket.
You know I'm using the XR just because the excess was a little more, so I definitely saved money with this, and I always love to save money. So I think the Google 3a is a really, really good option. So, if you guys do want to see more videos on this, and obviously I'm going to be putting more videos out on this device, then leave it in the comments down below.
