iPhone 7 plus- please that's so last year, hello, guys where you give it a prank. A here: David Franco calm with my unboxing of the Google Pixel 2 XL, huge thanks to Verizon for hooking me up with this I. Have it for about a month, I'm very, very excited. Now I did send back the note.8 I love my time with it, but I actually might be more excited about this. For two reasons: number one: it's pure Android, there's no Samsung skin, no LG. None of that this is pure Android.
Its plus is my first phone ever from Google, so that alone is a huge deal and number two, and this actually might be bigger than reason number one. The cameras. Apparently, the cameras on here are even better than the cameras on the iPhone 10. Now I do have the iPhone 10 coming next Monday. It would be nice if it came earlier in time of the weekend.
Vlogs but I don't see that happening. That's a guy! That's a guy! Because I have this thing to keep me busy, but the only reason I mentioned the iPhone 10 is that it's going to be very interesting to compare the cameras on that phone to the cameras on this phone. So here we go my first pixel device ever very interesting packaging. Do you just pull it yeah wow this thing gets tight here we go pixel to XL all right opening the box right away? You see the phone wrapped in plastic. I've to say it feels pretty good hold on put that aside.
Let's put that aside guys, we got to save the best for last gotta say that looks just like an iPhone packaging little attribute, but then again, there's only so much you can do with packaging in regard to picking up a piece of wherever this is plastic is cardboard is, okay, anyway, next in the Box, we have yay welcome to team pixel. It literally says yay what her thing is pretty funny. Let's take this little adhesive off and see. What's in here, you get a sim removal tool which I will not be using safety information. More safety information be safe.
Okay, thank you. Thank you for caring. Let's get started from Google inside the box. You have the pixel the sim tool power, adapter, quick, switch, adapter, earbud, adapter, earbud adapter. Keep that in mind.
USB cable, activate your new pixel blah blah blah I'm, not a manual kind of person. Guys are you. Let me know in the comments right below I like to learn it myself, and we have a little USB, see two USB connector USB CD USB, a very cool dongles of the future, guys dongles are the future look at this okay. You know what I find this so amusing people mocked Apple because they killed a headphone jack. Did I not call this movement did I not call this look? This is a common thing, moving forward, whether you like it or not, do I care.
No, because I don't use wired, headphones, I, absolutely love! My air pods, the best headphones I've ever owned. Okay, so sure they don't have the best sound quality in the world, but the convenience alone is just incredible, so this I find amusing and well awesome at the same time, so Google. Thank you. Thank you. For following the trend now, I was wrong.
A while ago, I said watch the note 7 or the note 8 or whatever is going to tick with a headphone jack, and it did not so prompts the Samsung in that regard, but I'm just kind of really happy to see Google following the way of Apple. Again, you may hate this I love it moving forward. You guys moving forward, and you get a USB cable for charging and speaking of charging power, adapter completely white I love that Google prompts okay, let's take Z plastic off Z Google Pixel to excel all right Wow. So it's obviously not a bezel this design in regard to the top, if anything, it looks like a note, eight, a little I'm swimming. This is the power button top right.
It's vibrating, it's vibrating and there you go okay. Actually, the bezel is pretty thick. Nothing, it's a bad thing, but it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're into bezel. This phones nowadays but design wise, I have to say it looks nice regardless, is very balanced. We have the same amount of black space up top and on the bottom, which I like a lot.
It's almost bezel as' on the left and right side to kind of wraps around barely hi there. Thank you, google, for that nice introduction back here. We do have a fingerprint sensor, something the iPhone 10 does not have so kept that in mind as well: camera on the back camera on the front and no home button, no home button whatsoever, which I think is great, I'm sorry guys. I love the fact that companies are taking away things that we've taken for granted for years, and I realize that might sound very odd, but you got to understand with my technology. I've always been a forward-thinking person, so I love when a company takes away something we're so used to for years upon years, and they introduce new ways of using phones, tablets, PCs Macs whatever so there you go a very brief unboxing of the Google Pixel to excel I'm going to set this up myself off camera, but I promise you.
This is just the beginning of my coverage. You can expect a ton of coverage in regard to the camera comparisons again with this comparative to the iPhone 10, and maybe the iPhone 7 plus I mean, if that's something you want to say the 7 plus isn't that relevant. But let me know I appreciate it and, of course, my review and all that stuff, so guys. Thank you so much for watching huge thanks to Verizon for making as possible, I appreciate it. So much I am extremely high to get started with this, but for now I must sign off.
If you guys have any questions or requests or feedback regarding the pixel 2 XL I will keep them in mind. Moving forward with my coverage. Thank you so much your support is amazing, and I'll. See you next time.
