Gaming on SUPER FAST 4G LTE - Nighthawk M1 By TechBlock

Let's go down, we hit another nose go so this right here is my internet router sitting on top of my PC plugged in via USB type-c, and this is pretty much the equivalent to an Ethernet cable. You don't need to run an astral Ethernet cable from this device to the back of your PC or laptop. Instead, a Type C cable will do the job, and it even has a screen on here. It shows you how many gigabytes you've used devices connected, and we are on the EE Network right here with a very good signal. There's a battery icon here, as this thing is entirely portable. You can unplug it, and you know, take it with you on the go wherever you want and the speeds that this tiny little for JIRA Mauser can achieve are absolutely insane.

So I'm going to do a couple. Speed test comparisons, as in this apartment, we have three different, ISPs well, I, see different. Two of them are kind of the same one. Just once done limited and one has a 200 gigabyte am of data cap and the other one is like a copper connection going into our building, which is an absolute potato in terms of speeds, but it's very good in terms of ping as long as there's absolutely no other traffic on your network, so I'm going to run quite a few different speed tests on various different eyes fees at the moment it's pulling about 160, and it is kind of the middle of the day right now. So the peak speed I've seen on this tiny little router, is about two hundred and thirty downloads in terms of megabits per second and the upload.

Speed is pretty much capped at around a hundred for me, and that is most likely. You know because of my network. It pretty much can't push anything more than that at least where I live and where I am so at the moment, we're getting 37 pings, 158 point 91, download and 67 megabits per second on the upload speed. These speeds are pretty damn good, and we can compare that speed test result against a very different 4G LTE configuration. So bear in mind, we just ran a speed test using this tiny little 4G router from Netgear, and we can run another one using a very different setup.

So over here is our networking setup. We have a server router and then the 4G modem. So this has two antennas connected to it at the bottom here and that antenna is sitting up there. So it's all nicely cable managed, and this has an antenna, so the speeds are definitely way better and way more stable. When you plug an antenna into that router.

However, I've tried to plug that antenna into this one, as this does support tp9 connections, but I actually saw a speed decrease when I plugged it in via an antenna, as opposed to like a potential speed increase. So perhaps I kind of need like a different antenna for it, but I'm very happy with the speeds that it's achieving all on its own. It's a very good 4G router, like it blows my mind how good it is anyway, I'm now running a speed test using OB. So the 4G LTE connection provided to me by my ISP, and this is going to probably be quite a bit slower, then the Netgear halter, but it's just the standard like 4G hub that my ISP gave me plus an external antenna that definitely does boost the speeds to a certain extent, but at the moment we're pulling around 36 pings around 80 downloads and around 50 uploads, which is actually pretty good, like we're in the middle of the day, and it's actually getting somewhat decent results at the moment. So that's the speed test results using the 4G antenna and everything else and I have now switched over to BT, which is my ADSL connection.

As you can see, the ping is by far the best. The download speed is by far the worst, and oh, my god that upload speed, though so this connection right here is incredibly slow and we kind of only use it when playing games because it has the best ping and as long as there's nothing else going on the network. No one uploading stuff, then you're kind of okay. But this connection, because of the terrible upload speed, is incredibly unstable, and generally the performance is just horrendously bad. Getting back to this tiny portable little router from Netgear, though this thing is absolutely amazing, like it blows my mind how much of an improvement to my internet, this thing has had, to be honest: I really wasn't expecting this tiny little router from Netgear to make such a difference in terms of internet speed, because I kind of thought that what I was getting with my 4G and Kenya, and you know the standard modem that my ISP gave me was kind of like my max possible speed.

I try putting that antenna in various different places around the house different locations outside, but absolutely none of the configurations I tried with the antenna would ever reach speeds like this. This is the absolute fastest speed test result I've gotten so far using that time, hill router right there, but we got 27 pings, 230, download and just shy of 100 upload and bear in mind. This is of a 4G over Wi-Fi, and it is crazy, quick using the antenna connection and everything that one had very, very unstable ping. You could play Counter Strike using that 4G internet. However, you would run into constantly rubber banding, so you'd be playing Counter Strike running about, and you would constantly be teleporting back or things just glitching out in-game, because the connections just all over the place.

However, with this 4G router from Ned year that I have sitting at my PC being stabilized, man like I, can't believe that the ping is actually pretty low. The download speed is pretty damn acceptable and the upload speed as well always goes up to like 90, a hundred which is just crazy to me, like we don't have good internet here. Hence, why I'm having to use a 4G connection as like my main broadband? Basically in the apartment that I live in, we don't have fiber optic broadband. The best we have in terms of actual physical broadband is ADSL, which is like stupidly, slow and just ancient. It's like an ancient broadband connection.

It's 2020, and we have some potato internet running into this building, but luckily 4G on this router is incredibly quick. This is a fight. Yeah, I think is about 45 at the moment and there's been zero, like oh he's, still got second place. I did hello, good ROG 47 to 28, so play games like counter-strike, as you just saw they're super possible, like that's literally, so little lag associated with using 4G. Now, thanks to this router, but I will say that there was a tiny little of lag one time in particular where I kind of like got teleported back, which was a little weird, but I'm, not sure.

That's the fault of the router, or perhaps my network EE had a little of a problem or a little of a hiccup somewhere like. After all, it is 4G. You don't really expect it to be like mega, reliable, especially in terms of ping, but for the most part, this router does a very good job in terms of like stabilizing the whole connection. Apart from that, though, thank you so much for watching massive shout out once again to Netgear for sending this little router out to me. I really didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, but it's actually a good product delivers considerably better results than a standard, 4G modem that you'd get from your ISP.

This thing is actually an upgrade. It's portable, so many good things to say about it. It can handle speeds up to 1 gigabit per second, which is freaking crazy. If you are in a similar boat to me in terms of Internet, where I pretty much only have access to a DSL broadband, you know physical broadband. We don't have fiber optic broadband in this apartment.

It's just it's not a thing yet. So this is pretty much my best next thing and if you are in a similar boat to me, where you know you don't have access to fiber optic broadband I reckon 4G is genuinely a very good solution, especially if you can get an unlimited data. Sim from your network pop that unlimited data SIM card inside here, and you're going to have blazing fast speeds. Obviously, bear in mind that your speeds are not going to be the same as mine. They could be way higher, or they could be way slower.

It's going to depend on many factors where you live. What's around you, of course, what network you're on in the first place the network or ISP that I'm with is EE, and they deliver probably the fastest 4G connection possible in the UK. So hence why I kind of went with them and I finally have unlimited data on 4G, which makes me incredibly happy as I finally have access to extremely high-speed, reliable internet in the form of this little router thanks to Mary yet and of course, the e building like mega fast 4G internet in the UK.
