Hey, what's going on guys, it is time to do some tests on the all new Galaxy, Note 9. So in this video, the first test I'll be doing. Is the battery charging speed test, and I'm just draining the battery all the way down to zero? We are at 5%, so hopefully in the next 30 minutes, I'll be able to drain this, and then we'll charge to 100%, and we'll use a stopwatch to see how long it takes for the nine to charge up from zero to 100 and for this test, I'll be using this top charger which comes with the phone, and you can see the maximum discharge. Our outputs are nine volts at one point: six seven amps and the K will I'll be using is also stock, Samsung cable, which comes with the note 9 alright. So let's just wait until the battery is drained out and in the next video I'll be doing a wireless charging speed test so stay tuned for that I will charge this up, and then we'll do a battery drain test and see how the battery does in normal day-to-day use. So stay tuned.
For a couple of videos guys all right, so it's switched off due to low battery. So let's start charging so first off plug it in the phone is right now, as you turn off so bring this closed start the stopwatch. So you can see the battery is indeed at 0%. Okay, it's been 10 minutes since the phone has been charging so now, I'm going to try it turning it on, but first, let's check the charge level it's at 14, so now I can safely turn it on. So now we are going to continue the charging while the phone is switched on alright.
So we are our 30 minutes in now, let's check the battery level, so we are at 38% and let's go to settings. Let's go to device maintenance battery, and it chooses. It should take around one hour, 38 minutes to charge fully, and it's its about 38 percent charge. So in about 30 minutes you can go from 0 to 38 percent on the Galaxy Note 9 and do keep in mind. This is a huge Packer.
It's a four thousand William hour battery 31 miles, and we are at 39% alright guys it has been 1 hour or 60 minutes, since the 9 has been charging and VR at 76% thumbs. Up from my side, this thing is charging at a very fast pace, so in case your battery is completely dead at the 0%. In about 1 hour, you can get your phone up to 76 percent and still 36 minutes to go. No, it's at 77% at 1 hour, 1 minute. Alright, guys we are at 90%, and it only took 1 hour 18 minutes for the note 9 to go from 0 all the way up to 90% so install this app called ampere to check the battery temperature and the charge level as 91% now and the battery temperature is 28 degrees, Celsius and that's fairly cool.
Considering how fast this phone is charging so hope you guys can get an idea. It's at twenty-seven point, five degree Celsius and the phone is cool to the touch. Alright, guys we are at a hundred percent gotta! Stop! Please stop watch, so it took 1 hour 42 minutes for the battery of the note 9 to go from 0 all the way up to 100%. So if you remember my previous video, where I charged up the s9 + from 0 to 100%, it took the s9 + 1 hour, 44 minutes. So the note 9 actually takes 2 minutes less time to charge from 0 to 100% compared to the s9 +.
The s9 + has 500 William hours less compared to the note 9. So the note 9 does charge quite a bit faster because it has a little charge up that extra 500 Williams compared to the as fine plus, even more or less the same time. So I guess this is a winner and one thing: I've also noticed that in Note 9 does not get hot, it gets warm, but it was charging around 50%, but that's it compared to the s9 +. This phone runs much cooler even in general use. The note 9 does take much cooler than the s9 +.
