Redmi 10X 5G vs Redmi K30 Pro vs Mi Note 10 Lite - NEW VALUE CHAMP? (Part 1)

Hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here with my epic triple comparison between the Redmi 10x 5g, the Redmi k30 pro, and the note 10 lite and the winner of the comparison is the Redmi k30 wait just kidding guys now. Obviously we know that this affordable flagship is a terrific device, and it's going to be on top in a lot of these categories. But this is a more nuanced comparison and in fact I actually think that this Redmi 10 x5g is offering some serious value that even rivals the value that this Redmi k30 pro is offering. But I've also named amino 10, like the best light phone that Xiaomi has released. So there's a lot to consider here, especially considering the different price points. So, let's go down the laundry list, design display performance, quick, audio test, I'll share some of my camera samples, we'll wrap up with some PUBG and then decide which of these phones is right for you.

Let's have a look. So, let's start with the pricing, so this Redmi 10 x5 g comes in base model at 1599 yuan. So it is definitely the lowest cost option of these three phones. Meanwhile, the Redmi k30 pro comes in at a starting price of 2999 yuan and the amino 10 lite is official now here in Hong Kong, at 2 500, Hong Kong dollars, so literally 100 difference between these phones base models, 220 320 and 420. So there really is a good separation between these phones, but I feel that some of these phones are offering even more value than the others.

So, let's jump into this comparison and see how they fare design, 205 grams 218, 204. , nine millimeters versus eight point: nine versus 9.7. So all these phones are pretty thick, and you can see. The look of these phones varies as well from this kind of textured plastic to this nice cold, glossy aluminum to this kind of flat panel aluminum on the amino 10 light, and you can see on the sides. These phones have very similar cutouts and IR blasters on all these phones and just gotta love.

This red accent, button on the k and the x series. Phones really just gives it a nice design flair, but you see all of them. Have this curved glass on the back which meets the edge really nice now as good as a plastic phone, as is the Redmi 10x? It just cannot compare to the glossy gorgeous feel of the amino 10 light or the Redmi k30 pro, and here you see the bottoms USB single bottom firing speakers and all of these phones have 3.5 millimeter, headphone jacks a welcome sight and the sim tray on the Redmi 10x. But you can see the metallic phones do have those bands, while the plastic Redmi 10x, does not, and the other thing you might notice, is that there's a plastic edge on the Redmi k30 pro and the Redmi 10x, while the amino 10 light has a much more refined edge. It feels so much more premium because of that, and that is why I said that this minor ten light is really punching way above its weight class in terms of design.

But there's one thing that the amino 10 didn't get right and that is included matte back on these phones and what a difference it makes to have matte glass on the back. It makes the phone feel so much more sleek and premium in the hand. I would say that that is a major win here for this Redmi 10x camera module is very different here, rectangular circular, but I personally prefer this nice vertical look on the amino 10 line and on the front it's a different story as well: tiny bezels on both the amino 10 light and the Redmi k30 pro, while the Redmi 10x has a more sizable bezel compared to these two but need I say more, this is easily the best designed front look of a phone in 2020, no notch no punch hole. The Redmi k30 pro, knocks it out of the park here and is the most modern looking phone of the year because of its pop-up camera solution. It's a close one here for design.

I think the Redmi 10x while well-built as plastic. It is still plastic guys, but it's a close race here for first and second just because of this gorgeous front display and the beautiful matte back feel on the back. I give the design award here to the Redmi k30 pro, but it's very, very close and in some ways the amino 10 light almost feels like the more premium device and guys you will love the design of this Redmi 10x. Just don't expect that nice cold metallic feel and that extreme premium build quality that you get from. Phones like the minor 10 lite display 6.57 versus 6.67 versus 6.47. All AMOLED displays all of them, 60 hertz and all of them capable of HDR 10, but the Redmi, 10x and Redmi k30 pro are capable of HDR 10, plus all phones using gorilla, glass, 5 and, frankly, it's incredible to think that the Redmi 10x at a price point so much lower than the k30 pro is offering this good of a panel.

It's a solid display, and I have it here on saturated mode. You can tell the colors just pop off the display. But yes, if you're talking about bezels, you can see there, they are more significant on this phone and the added notch is going to be a dealbreaker for you, notch haters out there and in the case of the amino 10 lite, it's really going to be more about your preference for curves. Do you want that kind of green shifting and a curved edge? Some people love it. Some people, don't personally I go for the flat panel on the Redmi k30 pro 9 times out of ten.

They are all gorgeous displays, but once again we have the most modern and the most pleasing panel on this Redmi k30 pro. This display is just great guys. It is so hard to compete with this phone when you have some sort of notch or some sort of punch, hole or larger bezels and in the case of the Redmi k30 pro bigger, is definitely better. You just get more display and a more immersive experience. So the display win goes here to this Redmi k30 pro and here's YouTube playback on the Redmi 10x, the Redmi k30 pro and the amino 10 lite, and one thing about the curved edge.

As you can tell, it does distort a little of the viewing experience. That's why flat panel displays are just so much more appreciated for watching content and, yes, the notch does intrude, but this, like I said, is a real me. X2 pro type viewing experience, but it still can't match the immersive feel of this Redmi k30. Pro I mean. Did you expect me to go with another phone in this category? Obviously not the winner of YouTube playback.

Is this Redmi k30 pro and in DRM info? Look at this a win across the board for all these phones, l1 l1 l1! It's a l1 party here today on Frankie tech, and I was very impressed with the Redmi k30 pro having this security level for wide vine CDM, HD Netflix out of the box. With this china ROM version, the amino 10 light was expected as the global version, but the phone that really impressed me here was this Redmi 10 x, considering its price point and base model of 1 600 yuan to get l1 on board. Such a low budget phone is incredible, and I think Xiaomi has just nailed it here by including l1 HD Netflix compatibility on this Redmi 10x. It's a tie across the board, but if I had to give it to one here, just on sheer price alone, I give it to the Redmi 10x and talking about performance, and here are the an tutu scores. We have the immensity 820 versus the snapdragon 865 and the snapdragon 730 on the minor 10 lite, and all of these phones are offering just some incredible performance for the price, but obviously with the snapdragon 730.

The amino 10 light is not really in this conversation. I think the more interesting conversation is between these two phones. You have a phone, that's offering for 420 us a flagship level experience, but in this Redmi 10x at 220 dollars, you have a phone, that's offering last year's flagship level experience. That's right, this 400 000 scores close to what we saw in the snapdragon 855 series, phones and those phones are still very much capable in this day and age. So to see this type of score on a 220 us dollar phone is pretty astounding.

Now I have the 8 GB version here of the Redmi 10x. Now, if you get the base model, it will only come with 6 GB of ram. But honestly, I still think its plenty of ram for your daily needs and the amino 10 light has had no issues, as is the 612a version and, as you know, all of these phones are running mini 11, but there's one phone that takes the edge here and that's the note.10 lite and I love now that Xiaomi on their global mini, 11 phones are including now the Google side panel here just swipe to the left, and you have access to it. This gives me the pixel like vibes and OnePlus, has recently also made this change, and so I think the fact that Xiaomi is now doing this on their global version. Phone makes this an even more compelling reason to want to pick up the global ROM versions, so in terms of software, just because of that, and because of the deep google integration.

In my personal experience, I will pick this minor 10 light over a china ROM any day of the week, but in performance it's an obvious win here for the Redmi k30 pro. But if you actually look at price to performance, I think it might be beat here by the Redmi 10x. I have not seen a phone offer this much for this little and I think it even surpasses the Redmi k30 pro in some ways and talking about battery, we have a four thousand five hundred twenty milliampere versus four thousand seven hundred versus five thousand two hundred sixty milliampere capacities here on these phones. Twenty-two point: five versus thirty fast charging, but if you do get the zoom version, you'll go up to 33, watts, fast charging and guys in this shot. You see three of probably the best battery performers that I have tested just in general, not just Xiaomi phones, Nazi, and I've been testing the Redmi 10x on 5g performance, and it has managed to get up to almost 6 hours of screen on time on 5g alone.

Now I think this phone could do even better if it was on 4g or if it was on Wi-Fi or if you're, watching YouTube or Netflix, and we already know the Redmi k30 pro has been a battery champ in my previous testing, but on paper alone we have a winner here. It's the note, 10 lite, with a 5 260 milliampere capacity. This phone just knocks it out of the park, and I think if we did a drain test with these phones, this one would probably come out on top should we do a drain test? Well those take forever to make, though so, definitely hit me up in the comments. If you'd like to see something like that and talking about the fingerprint scanners we have optical under display fingerprint scanners on all of these phones, as you can see, I think this is maybe a marginal difference and, as you can see right here, they are plenty fast, but one thing you might notice it there is that the Redmi k30 pro and the minor 10 light. Have it a little more elevated on the display.

It is just the better spot for the fingerprint scanner. So if there's one thing I could change about, the Redmi 10x is placing that fingerprint scanner a bit higher because it's not the best spot. In my opinion, and when it comes to vibration motors, we have one phone that really falls behind here. The amino 10 light has one of the most tinny vibration motors I've used. I just remember now.

I did not like the experience of using the keyboard or vibrations on this phone. Meanwhile, the Redmi 10x has definitely stepped it up. It is not to the level of the Redmi k30 pro, which I still think offers the best vibration motor of these three. But it's pretty dang close, and it's incredible to think you have a better motor in this phone than in this more expensive minor 10 line, and now the audio speaker test single bottom firing speaker on all these phones, I'm going to bring the mic down. Let's have a listen.

What can I say pretty interesting result here in this audio speaker test, the amino 10 light sounds good, but the mid and the clarity of the instruments is a bit lacking there. So I kind of move this one aside between the Redmi k30 pro and the Redmi 10x. It's actually pretty close. I think, there's a more pleasing sound once again, like the me10 light zoom coming out of this phone, and when you compare next to Redmi k30 pro, you may still prefer this sound. It is definitely louder on the Redmi k30 pro, but I feel there's more clarity.

Still on this Redmi 10x really going to depend on what your preferences are, but if you want more booming sound out of your bottom firing, speaker definitely pick up the Redmi k30 pro. It still beats this phone, but I do think the sound is more pleasing on this Redmi 10x stay tuned to part two of my epic Redmi 10x vs Redmi k30 pro versus minor 10, lite video, including camera PUBG, and the final verdict.
