BlackBerry KeyOne Review | The good-old QWERTY keypad

Blackberry first showcase the blackberry key one at MWC 2017 in Bar stow, almost after five months, they've got the smartphone to India, and it is priced at rupees, thirty, nine thousand nine hundred and ninety. This is the Android Blackberry t1. That also comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard and will remind you of the old BlackBerry Bold Dale. But is it worth your money? We find out now what's cool on the BlackBerry key one? Well, for starters, this smartphone does not look like any other Chinese smartphone in this price range. It has a different design line to it and one look at it, and you know it is a BlackBerry device. The physical keyboard on the BlackBerry key one is well spaced, and you would love typing on this one.

It also has slight functions like swipe, right and left and even scroll up and down, which makes the page move. This is a touch and type device by blackberry and is made with premium quality material. The back on the BlackBerry key one has a rubbery feel to it, but it appeals to the premiums of this smartphone. There is also a small camera bump at the back, which is not that interfering in terms of the design of this device. Now the display on the BlackBerry key one is measured at 4.5 inches. Now this is a display that many would think is very small, but I still think that a 4.5 inch display still makes sense in 2017 and almost every app that you run on it will feel seamless. The display is quite bright, has a good pixel density as well, and you would not be complaining much about the display on the BlackBerry key one over here now, apart from the physical keyboard, it also comes with three buttons on the side.

One is the volume rocker on the right side of the phone. You get the power button, and this is a smart launcher through which you can actually choose whatever app. You want to launch by pressing this button, even when the screen is locked now the BlackBerry key one is not a smartphone that boasts of amazing specs. It does not come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. Instead, it comes with an outscore Qualcomm, Snapdragon 625 processor.

That is clocked at 2 gigahertz and comes with 4gb of RAM now, for many, that might not be enough. Part trust us when it comes to the ecosystem that this entire smartphone has to offer. That is more than enough firepower that you will ever need now. The key one is a dual SIM device that comes with a hybrid SIM card slot 3. That also means that you can expand the 64gb of storage on this device if you're just using a single SIM card.

But if you are using two SIM cards when you won't be able to expand the storage on this one talking about the operating system on the all-new blackberry t1, it does run on the latest Android new operating system. That also has a little of custom bloatware on top of it, five blackberries, but the coolest thing on the blackberry key one is the BlackBerry D tech platform. It is like a double layer: protection for the data on this device. You of course, get Google's security settings on the BlackBerry, even but on top of that, you get to detect platform which basically helps you identify apps that have been using permissions that you haven't granted and know how secure your device is. It also gives you alerts when an app is unknowingly, using your location or even using your camera, which I think is very good for people who work in corporates and want to keep their data already secure, blackberry key one.

We detect really makes good sense over there. You also get blackberry messenger on it, but I am not too sure how many people use blackberry messenger these days, since WhatsApp also gives you encrypted messages these days now. The blackberry key one also comes with an 8 megapixel front camera, which is good for clicking selfies and the battery on the BlackBerry key 1 also lasts you easily or day and a half. Now it's not like everything is cool with the BlackBerry key one over here. The 12 megapixel camera on this one is not that great for kicking images.

Only in good lighting conditions, you will get good image results. Another thing is that, though, we've said that the 4.5 inch display on the BlackBerry key 1 is good, but it's not all that great as well. It is not good for watching videos because, as you are intruded by this keyboard over here, the sound quality is also just average for people who love to watch streaming content, the BlackBerry key one might not appeal to them. Gaming is also another area of concern, though the processor on this one gives you a seamless gaming experience, but then using the phone with the keyboard, including while playing first-person shooter games, might pose a problem for people who love to gain on the go. So what do we think about the all-new blackberry key one? Well, it's priced at would be thirty, nine thousand nine hundred and ninety, and in that price you get the one plus five.

You also get good phones like the honor 8 pro. So why should you go for the blackberry key one? First, if you were a blackberry fan, this might give you some old-time nostalgia with the physical keyboard on it. The other thing on the blackberry key one is the D tech platform. If you are someone who's finicky about the data that they store on their device. Well, this is the smartphone to buy.

It sure makes a good appeal and good value for money for people who work in corporate and want to keep the data secured, but for regular Android users you can skip the BlackBerry key one for now,.
