Blackberry KEYOne Keyboard Update: Problems Resolved

What's W to have just back again from Bell tech daily comm today. Are you guys just a really short update video on my blackberry, key one review in that video I talked about some issues that I had with the keyboard, and most of those issues have now been resolved by an update I received in the Play Store to the BlackBerry keyboard app itself, so I want to go ahead and talk about those. The very first issue was someone asked if you can use swipe to type on the physical keyboard, as well as the virtual keyboard. I did not have that option and I actually showed a screenshot in that actual video in the description and I want to show you that now that has been enabled with the BlackBerry keyboard update. If you go into settings, you go into the BlackBerry keyboard settings. You go right here to type by swipe, and now you'll notice that you have a physical keyboard option there at the bottom.

You can turn that on for type for swiping and then, when you go into an app like Gmail or whatever app you want to do some typing in you can now type by swiping on the physical keyboard. It's not very good. My opinion compared to the typing, to swipe on a virtual keyboard, but it is there if you want one thing that I do recommend that you do is that if you do enable the type by swiping, you might want to turn off the keyboard swipe gestures. These are the gestures that allow you to go swipe back to delete things and, if you're, using the swipe to type gestures, sometimes you might swipe back because you're actually trying to swipe a word. You might accidentally delete some things so, whenever I use the type by swiping on the physical keyboard, I do like to turn that option off either way.

If you like that option, you can leave it on, but everything is there now and enabled you can type by swiping on the physical keyboard, which is a very cool feature that people liked from the Drive. The other issue that I mentioned in my full review was the issue with Snapchat and other apps, forcing a virtual keyboard not allowing you to use the full screen real estate that has now been resolved as well. You can see now, when I go into Snapchat, to send the message. I am not forced to use a virtual keyboard on the screen. I can go ahead and just use my regular keyboard down here type away, no problem whatsoever in Snapchat that appears to been also fixed by the keyboard update itself on the Play Store.

So, overall, it seems you shouldn't have any issues in the popular apps being forced to use a virtual keyboard with your physical one. Of course, you still can enable a virtual keyboard on the screen if you want to, but that's now your option and not something that's being forced upon you. The final thing I want to mention, which is actually something someone pointed out in the comments that I meant to mention in my full review, but forgot is that you can actually do something really cool with the keyboard in the camera, and that is, you can navigate when you're using manual mode through the options. So you can swipe in the options here by actually using the keyboard, so I can adjust. You know whatever it is that I want to adjust in manual mode by swiping, left and right, swiping up and down.

You can also press Auto. So once you change something, if you press the key, it's going to change it back to auto, you can see as soon as I press a goes back to yellow, which means this is now being back in Auto mode for that particular setting. So that's a really cool feature that I, like with the camera. Someone else pointed that out, I forgot to mention it something I was aware of, but sometimes when you make a video, even that's 40 minutes long. You forget a few things, alright guys.

So that's just a couple of updates on the keyboard things that have been resolved. Some issues that I had I would say the keyboard is now almost perfect on the key one. Let me know what you guys think about the key one I appreciate all the positive feedback on the full review. You guys can find me at dope tech, daily, comm, Google+, Instagram and Twitter.
