Apple iPhone XS Max vs Huawei P20 Pro: Camera Comparison!

The iPhone, 10s and 10s max were pretty much the most awaited devices of 2018 the devices come with 12 megapixel cameras with updated sensors and features such as depth, control for both images, the Huawei P 20 pro comes with its triple camera setup, with a 40, megapixel, 20, megapixel and 8 megapixel camera and still boasts being one of the best cameras of 2018. So let's jump right into this camera comparison of the iPhone 10s max and Huawei P 20 pro we'll start with this macro shot of a few small flowers. Now. What we notice here is that both phones have issues focusing on the flowers due to the size of flowers and the proximity to the subject with no fault of their own, but once they achieve focus, they do different things. The iPhone 10s max captures more detail on a wider range in the image, whereas the p20 pro focuses on the flowers right ahead and blurs everything else out. Colors are more vivid on the iPhone and structure and detail is higher to many a time you come to a situation where you need to zoom into the image to frame it at to exhume.

Both phones are optically zoomed and both are showing detail, but the colors on the Huawei have a very yellow tinge. While the 10 s Max, is still vivid making it a much more appealing image. It's at 10x zoom, where the tables turn and Hawaii p20 Pro shows its prowess when it comes to zoom and stabilization, even in the second image with the moon, the Huawei is able to capture much more detail at this zoom level now on to selfies during the day, there's a massive amount of personal preference when it comes to how a person likes to see themselves in an image. Similarly, in this first image, while the 10 s max is 7 megapixel camera does the better job of accurately representing the colors of the evening. I prefer the detail in the image of the p20 pro and its 24 megapixel selfie camera.

A true test of portrait mode in a phone is with someone who has hair. Like me, the iPhone immensely struggled with my hair for a few images, while the p20 pro was easily able to capture me ahead of a blurred background in this image taken indoors, the p20 pro struggles with color accuracy, as well as detail, even with its AI, turned on nothing gets better, whereas the iPhone comes out with a clear appealing image. Even in this oddly lit situation in this shot, the Hawaii p20 pros AI detected the sunset and switched on its optimization, while trying to focus on the warmth of the image it unfortunately darkened the ground. On the other hand, in the iPhone it lightened up the land and the sky loses some of its warmth. Let's move to night shots, shall we take a picture of the Dubai frame? The p20 pro takes a brighter picture with lesser detail, while the iPhone 10s max takes a more saturated and darker image, but has more detail.

So here again it comes to personal choice of what you, as a user, would like to see in the image, even in this. Second, shot the iPhone and Suarez images look very similar, but with AI switched on the p20 pro uses its night mode and then there's a significant difference. The p20 pro image is brighter has more detail. The road and vehicles on it are clearer. ? taking selfies at night isn't the easiest task.

The Wow is 24 megapixels, f, 2.0 camera captures more detail and has a wider field of view with much more brightness, whereas the iPhone produces an extremely warm image in portrait mode. The rolls reverse and the 10s max produces the cooler image, but the p20 pro still maintains its detail. Last but not least, is video I think the iPhone is better at capturing video, both quality and stability wise when walking or running 4k video, while walking on the p20 pro, is a bit more stable. But then detail is better on the 10s Macs and when running footage from both phones is very shaky, but if I was to pick I would pick the iPhone 10s max and that's about it, two of the biggest flagships out there right now and their cameras. Let me know what you think about the results down in the comments below and tell us which phones you'd like us to compare next thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe all videos coming soon.
