5 Reasons NOT to Buy Galaxy Z Fold 3 (+Bonus)

What is going on guys welcome to goggles TV in this video. We're going to go through the five reasons, plus I'm going to throw in a bonus one. So it's really six reasons why you should not buy a Galaxy Z fold three. Now. I've also made a video of where some reasons why you should buy it, and I'll link that down below. If you want to check that one out after this with that said, let's jump into the five plus reasons why you shouldn't buy a Galaxy Z fold.

Three, the first one is its kind of fragile. Now I will say that the z-fold 3 is supposed to be lighter and more durable on the screen and on the body of the phone. But with that said, I've had the galaxy z-fold 2 for almost a year at this point, and I've broken it two times already, and I never break my phones. These phones have a know a folding mechanism, and they are just generally not as tough as you know, some traditional phones and the cases aren't as great as they have been on. Other phones as well, when you factor those two things together, you get a phone that is a little more fragile than other phones in the past.

Now other phones too, if you drop it most likely, will crack or break, but these phones again are just for most people that have these, and if you even think about it, they're fragile, they're, pretty fragile in a way that you have to baby them a little more than a more traditional phone. The accessories aren't that great the overall build quality is nice, but it's still it's not as durable as other phones. You have to be wary of that. So number one would definitely be the frailness of these phones. Overall number two would have to be how large these phones are.

No don't get me wrong when you have the phone like this. It's tiny. You know actually too small for me anyway, to use the keyboard. Some people love it like this. My wife absolutely loves it.

When it's, you know this small. She can use the keyboard. It's beautiful again, she's happy with it. But for me, I always want it. This is large, you know completely wide open and some people it's gonna, take a little of getting used to now I create I fixed that problem of being so large, because I put a pop socket on here, or I put a ring holder on the back, which I will link down below if you want to pick one up, but ultimately these phones are really, really big, so it takes a little getting used to and fitting these phones, especially when it's in this side, into like a car, adapter or just any kind of accessory, sometimes is a little too big for that and then again just holding it can be cumbersome.

So you have to be wary of you know when the phone's, this big, it might be a little uncomfortable. I will admit, though, for me, I absolutely love using it when it's this large and in charge. It makes it that much more fun, but on the other hand, it can feel pretty big number three has to be the price. Now, in the past, the Galaxy Z fold, one and two have basically been about two thousand dollars and the z-fold three is due to be anywhere between sixteen hundred and ninety-nine dollars, maybe up to eighteen hundred and ninety-nine dollars- and with that said, you know it is a price drop this year versus the last couple of years, but it's still literally like the most expensive phone that you'll probably ever buy or have bought. Because most phones are, you know, usually thirteen or fourteen hundred dollars at the most a lot of the time you're getting the phone for about a thousand dollars.

So to spend seven eight nine hundred dollars more on a phone versus something you've done in the past is a big buy. Now to counteract that. Obviously you might be paying this on payments, and at that point maybe it's only ten dollars more a month versus the last phone, or maybe you're, paying it for it all up front or trading in a bunch of phones or two phones or one phone, then it obviously cuts into the cost, but still just the price. Overall, when you tell someone the sticker price, seventeen hundred eighteen hundred nineteen hundred dollars, they're gonna, be like whoa, that's expensive. So it's a bit of a sticker shock on there, and it is something to know and be concerned with that.

You know you're putting a lot of money into a really new, but very cool technology. Next up would have to be battery life. For me, the Galaxy Z fold 2 the battery life has been pretty abysmal, I'm literally getting under 4 hours of screen on time, and then I need to charge it and when you factor in that the battery on the Galaxy Z fold, 3 is basically about the same at 4, 400 Williams, and I mean it will have a newer processor which potentially might be able to give it better battery life and then also factor in that it's only going to have 25 watt fast charging, just like the Galaxy Z, full 2 you're looking at battery life. That probably won't be all that great, especially when you're factoring in that. If you run the front display at 120 hertz and the inside display at 120 hertz that eats up battery life, you're, maybe going to run more games, because this processor is big watch more videos, because this display is big, so you're looking at things that are going to eat up battery life and that's not a big battery, especially with these.

You know, large big phones. So it is a little something to be concerned with. Hopefully they have their customization of the software and the overall. You know optimization of everything, really, really good, so that everything runs amazing in terms of you know not eating up too much battery life, but I don't have that high of hopes for it. I expect that the battery life is probably not going to be that great next up would be the cameras, the cameras on the Galaxy Z fold.3 are not looking that amazing they're, looking very kind of flat versus what we got with the z-fold 2, which z-fold 2 most expensive phones. That Samsung sells.

Also, the z-fold 3 will be the most expensive phone new phone anyway, that Samsung sells, and they don't have the best cameras, you're, probably looking at the s21 ultra having the best cameras to get and that phone's cheaper than this you're. Looking at 12 megapixel cameras, three of them on the back here, you're looking at a awful four megapixels under display camera here, which is extremely low, and then you're looking at a 10 megapixel camera on the front here. So with all that said, you're probably not going to get the best cameras you're paying the most, but you're, not getting the best cameras again for the z full three. Does that mean you're going to take and have the worst photos ever? Probably not? But again, if you want the best experience for cameras, you probably won't want to go with the z-fold 3 due to it not having the highest megapixel cameras, not having you know the best cameras overall in a phone for that Samsung has out. But again with that said, you can probably take some really amazing photos.

I've captured a lot of nice videos and photos with this phone, and it doesn't have the best cameras also take into effect. If you wanted to shoot 8k video with the galaxy default 3, it won't have 8k video it maxes out at 4k, which again for probably 99.9 of people in the world. It's probably completely fine, but it is something to know and the last reason this is really a bonus one or the sixth reason, and I would call this the fans reasons. It's not really things that I personally care about all that much, but I carry it up for you guys all the time in the comments of like. If I ever ask you guys, oh, why don't we? You want to buy a galaxy default phone? It's usually some of the reasons I listed and then these reasons as well- and these are going to give you two of them.

One is no MST. That's going to allow you to fully use Samsung pay to its full potential, meaning that when you go up to a pay terminal like a swiping credit card terminal with Apple Pay and Google Pay, you can't use it, but with Samsung pay in the past you could go up to a swiping terminal and just put your phone right. You know along that swiping terminal, and it would work. Samsung pay was amazing with that it's a little chip that was built into the phone they've since removed it. It's not going to be on the Galaxy Z fold, three either.

So that's one reason right there, the other one is no micro SD card support, so the only storage that you're going to get is the storage built into the phone. So, if you're coming from an older Samsung phone, where you had micro, SD card storage expansion, you could pretty much add as much storage as you want and take it out and move it, and you know be fine with that. You don't get any more of that. You only have the storage that they give you, which most likely would either be 256 or 512 gigabytes of storage, which it should be, and probably is plenty for 90 percent, if not more- of the people in the world, but if you're used to that- and you need that micro SD cards expansion do not get the z fold three there you guys go. Those are my reasons for not buying the Galaxy Z, full 3, I'm buying it, I'm very excited for it.

I love the fold line. It's a very exciting phone, it's a very fun phone. So I wanted to make this video. You know kind of make that devil's advocate thing. You know the devil and the angel.

If you want to watch my reasons to buy it I'll list that down below and uh. This was my reasons if I left anything out put it in the comments down below thanks for watching have a great day, and we'll see you down the road peace. You.
