5 major differences between Galaxy Watch and Gear S3 Frontier! By Digital Adventures!

Hey guys welcome to this video and in this video I'm, going to tell you about five major differences between Samsung, Galaxy watch and gear as three frontier now. The first major difference between these two watches is the software that they're running on now. Samsung Galaxy watch is running on Ti zen OS 4. So if we go in settings and go in about watch here and then go in software, we will see that it's running on Ti zen 4.0, 0.0 0.1. And similarly, if we go in settings on gear s the front here, you can see that it's running on Ti zen OS version 3.0 0.0 0.2. So that's the major difference now with these differences comes a slew of features that are present on Galaxy watch but are not present on our gears.

The front here. The first one is the whole new range of watch faces. You can still download third-party watch faces, but all the watch faces on this watch are new and are different from what we get on gear s3 frontier. So here you can see the list of all the default watch faces that you get on both these smartwatches, then on Galaxy watch. We also have some really cool features and if we go in settings and go in advanced features here, we get some really cool features like theater mode, that you know our changes settings on your watch.

If you are going to watch a movie, so it does not disturb you in the dark environment. Similarly, we have good night mode that you know just shut sound different features when you are wearing the watch and going to sleep, so these features really add value to the watch and its experience. Now. The next major difference between these two smartwatches is the level of water resistance. Now both of them are water resistant, but you can actually wear galaxy watch if you're going swimming, and you cannot wear gear s3 for swimming.

So that's the major difference between these two watches. Galaxy watch can resist the depth of 50 meters underwater, whereas gear s2 frontier can only live up to 1.5 meters in the water and with the swimming ability on galaxy voyage series, or so another really cool feature here. So if you go in settings and go in advanced here, you can go in water, lock mode, and here you will see this option called eject water. So if you turn this on, what it will do is that it will play a sound that will eject the water out of the speaker if it's lodged in there now. The next difference that I want to talk about is the number of exercises that you can track on both these watches now on gear s different ear.

You have got quite a bit of exercises that you can track, but they are limited so there you go, but on Galaxy watch it just goes on and on and on. They have added. So many more exercises that you can track, and there are so many more here, so you can see that the list just keeps going and going so there you go so a lot more exercises that you can track on. Galaxy watch then get a stiff front here. You can also track swimming now, so there is an option for that.

Let's go back, there's so many that you can track here. So there you go that swimming. You can track it. If we go in here you can set the pool length or stuff and there you go guide frequency, so you can go swimming as well and then there is another feature that they have added in here and that is called stress measurement. So in Galaxy watch there is this widget here for my earring stress, so you can mayor it and then do breathing exercises.

If you feel like stressed next up, galaxy watch comes in two different sizes, so we have a 46 millimeter size, which is the same as gear s3 front here, and then there is a smaller 42 millimeter size which is actually smaller and has 20 millimeter wristbands, whereas Galaxy watch and GRC frontier has got standard, 22 millimeters wristbands, so you can swap them next up. Galaxy watch has 472 William hour of battery, so it has got a bigger battery than gear receive front here, which has 380 million power battery now with gear s different here, I usually get around 3, sometimes 4 days of battery life, and our Samsung is actually claiming that you can get around 4 days of battery life from galaxy. Wars I think you can get four or five days. If you turn off the always-on display, so you can expect to get much better battery life from galaxy watch as compared to gear see frontier. And lastly, we have got a better processor in galaxy watch, so we have got Enos nine one, one: zero dual-core, 1.15 gigahertz processor in galaxy watch where, as singers three frankly, we have got x, zero, seven, two, seven, zero dual-core, one point: zero six, gigahertz processor, so I haven't really noticed any performance difference between the two watches. They are absolutely similar in a performance wise, not much of a difference here, and you can see that the performance is pretty similar on both the watches.
