2021 iPad 9th Generation & Apple iPad mini 6th generation: May be showcased in two different events? By Digital Markings

We are in the middle of august and in around one month we should finally witness the next Apple event. While anticipation and mystery regarding products that could be showcased will likely be different than what majority would want - everything - not really - as time progresses I am kinda certain that the iPhone 13 lineup and new Macs will be introduced in two different events. But where lies the biggest uncertainty here are the iPads. Hi friends and welcome to Digital Markings channel. As you are already familiar, beside new iPhones, Macs and few wearables we are all waiting to see the last two new iPads for this year. At one side its successor of the most sold iPad, a standard model which is expected to bring some smooth yes highly desirable changes, will it be in terms of display and form factor or more power under the hood and few goodies, we will se. You can hear more about it in few of my previous videos with the most recent available in the description and in the link in the corner. The other one is probably one of the biggest reasons for a headache in the long time, especially thanks to most colliding and contradictory leaks that we have been listening for the last year and half. Will it come with a new, iPad Air 4 like design or will it arrive with more subtle screen size increase while retaining its good old home button, we have to wait.

Regardless what we get specs and features wise, it would be reasonable to expect that both of these devices get proper treatment and reveal at the same event, in September, October or November. Fast forward to 2021, if rumours are accurate, iPhones are back on track for the upcoming month.

Some believe that the iPad 9 will definitely arrive at the same date, like it happened in previous instances. If we believe that MacBooks and new Mac Mini are coming in November, it would make sense that the perfect month for remaining iPads would be October, but that is not certain either. In scenario with two events till the end of 2021, we could conclude that yes, the iPad 9 and the iPad Mini 6 will be introduced along with the iPhones. But here comes the question, and this is for you as well - is there a possibility that we see two iPads in two different events and how much would that make sense? I believe it really depends what new iPad Mini brings to the table. Recent leaks pointing at the presence of the A15, combined with all new modern design, USB-C, Touch ID in the power button and even some speculations mentioning new Miniature version of the Apple Pencil, allow us to suspect that presentation of this device could take more time than usual. But then the latest iPad Pro was revealed along with revolutionary iMac and its first redesigned in decade. In case those changes are small it is almost certain that both iPads can fit in Apple’s iPhone event, although they don’t have to. In the other hand, it wouldn’t be the first time that we get standard iPad and the new iPad Mini in different event, yet in the same year.
