ZTE Blade A7 Prime from Visible Unboxing

Today I'm unboxing the visible ZTE Blade a7, prime, which I got for free by trading in an old phone I traded in this old ZTE zinger that I got for nine dollars at Walmart about five years ago, I heard of it the day before. Yesterday, here's what comes in the box. Here's the ZTE, Blade a7 Prime in the bottom, there's also a SIM card. Now there should be something in the bag that has a return label for my old phone. I need to turn this in, so I'm, not charged full price for this, because right now of all that, I'm being charged is $20 for the first month of service, no other charges to get this phone, which normally sells for $100 it's on discount right now on visible site for $50 there. It is look at that.

That's a pretty nice looking phone really the back of it has a really nice texture I, like the feel of it, feels like a piece of rock or something sort of like a that's where a textured like a rubbery Rock, and that's that it fits very well in my hand, I like that I like it as you can see it has a 16 megapixel. Camera has a screen that is slightly over six inches a quad-core processor. There's a Quick, Start Guide I understand it. Has a USB-C charging for it yeah it has USB-C, that's kind of cool comes with the charger. I think somewhere will be yeah somewhere in that package is probably oh there.

It is right. There has the little eject thing to get the SIM card out and to replace the micro SD card or to put one in there rather, but that's it. That's the ZTE Blade a7 from visible here, I'll peel this off, for you look at that. What a beautiful phone I like how the power button is highlighted in that red color. That's really! Nice! I'll just turn this on.

This doesn't have an external battery, so it's all charged up. I think this has Android 9, also I, think that's Android 9 and from what I've read about it, it's a pretty raw version of Android without a lot of customization, which is cool, very cool, so there it is with the first power up and look on the screen, how it has that little dip there for the camera. That's kind of interesting looking so, rather than a totally square screen your rectangle screen. It has a screen with a rounded edge and then the little dip in the top there. It's a very comfortable phone to hold okay I'm going to skip the SIM card business right now, and I'm going to just connect to my Wi-Fi.

Now when I spoke to visible tech support, they said that these phones are unlocked, and I'm, hoping that I can give these to my son's. So they can use it on Xfinity mobile, which, like visible uses the Verizon network. But people have said that you can't change the APN settings on these, but I believe there might be ways around that, so that we can get these so that they're able to be used on Xfinity mobile, and that would be great if we could so can you go grab my coffee cup over there all right, we're doing the whole update thing. Oh, there's a fingerprint sensor too right, there's a fingerprint sensor: that's really nifty! Hopefully it works better than the sensor on my old Galaxy, Note 4. Okay, it's a typical Android setup process.

Thus far and I wasn't even planning on turning on the phone for this unboxing I thought it would just be an unboxing, but I got kind of curious, and I wanted to see what this looks like turned on. It looks really cool I'm impressed yeah. It seems like a remarkable deal that I can trade in this old, ZTE zinger and get this lovely new phone and all I have to pay is 20. Bucks I do have to send in this old phone within 14 days or else I'll be charged for a price yeah. So I'm going to give this the run through and see if I can do something about those APN settings.

There's a video that somebody posted on slick deals that shows how, if you install Nova Launcher, there's some utility in Nova Launcher, a widget or something that allows you to edit API settings. I mean APN settings through an API. I can tell you right now. This seems like a very comfortable phone to hold. Let me turn off some of this stuff that I don't want to use right now.

Okay, unlock with fingerprint I'll, skip that for now we'll say not now for screen lock, but something about this makes it very comfortable to hold I would say it's because it's kind of narrow and also the texture I thought it felt more like a stone before. Maybe that's because it was cold. It just came in from outside, but the textures like a rubbery textured feel just a very slight texture and something about the way the curves are on the outer edge. That also makes it easy for me to wrap my fingers around and get a good grip on. I want to get through the setup as quickly as possible, so I can see if a Xfinity mobile sim works in this sucker and if it doesn't work, I'll look for ways to get it to work.

Look at that! Look at that beautiful background, and that's it lovely. What are we doing here? Okay, that it doesn't have hardware buttons? It's got the little on-screen buttons on the bottom. There's a bunch of stuff we'll see about those APN settings here, I, don't know if they'll, let you even do it if there's not a SIM card in it, but I will have to act to activate service on the visible SIM at some point. How about that camera? What's what's his camera? All about oops, I, just took a picture of my cat, but I didn't realize. I was off camera off video when I did dad.

So there's my cat and right here is the editor controls you can start to edit your photo right away. Let me see what kind of video settings it has. Video quality, oops 1080p looks like 1080p. Is the max resolution has anti banding interesting. There's video photo and more panorama, shots, time-lapse shots manual mode and that's about all I'm going to do right now for this unboxing, my son wants to get his hands on this phone, so I'm going to hand it over to him for a couple of minutes, and then I'm going to see about getting the SIM activated and possibly changing the APNs.

So there we go lovely little phone feels great, but the yeah. That's you can get that at visible, calm right now, and it's free with trade-in and one month of service. You can basically trade in any phone that doesn't work invisible, that's their deal right now any phone doesn't matter how old, thanks for watching.
