Xiaomi Mi 9T VS Samsung Galaxy A70

Alright guys welcome back to another video. Will she manage a, and this is something that I've been waiting to? Compare I finally got the 90 in and a lot of you guys asked me to compare it next to the galaxy, a 70, and so that is something that we'll do in this particular video we're going to cover I'm going to highlight a few things when comparing phones- it's its tough to do it sometimes, but it's totally possible. So in this video we're gonna check off, maybe eight to ten things and try to get through them as fast as possible. I'm going to go I. Don't want to make this a very long video, but if it turns out to be a lengthy video, I appreciate you watching all of it because in most cases, I'm going to answer the questions that you guys might have about these, these phones. So first we got a rundown.

The specs I'll try to get through this really, really fast. You've got a six point. Seven inch 1080p display over here on the seventy, and then you've got a six point. Four inch pretty much six point: three: nine, which is six point four inch 1080p display over here. This is 20 by 9, and this is nineteen by five by nine nineteen, five by nine, so they're, both narrow devices pretty much- and you can see it's not much, not much bigger in terms of size here and the feel in hand.

They both feel really, really good, so sue them a little here. Alright, so those are the screen, sizes and resolutions, and everything like that. This is running Android 9 they're, both running Android 9. This has a 32 megapixel camera on the rear as the main camera, and it's a 1.7 aperture. It's really, really good, and then you have an 8 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel depth sensor.

This one actually has a 48 megapixel wide-angle camera on the back, that's the main camera, and it's an FF 1.7 aperture. So it also has an 8 megapixel, 4 telephoto, and then it has a 13 megapixel ultra-wide. So the camera system over here it's definitely a little more advanced, but we'll take a look at the footage in a little while. So this is a 32 megapixel on the front, and this is a 20 megapixel motorized pop-up camera they're, both through 1080p the front, so you've got Bluetooth.5.0 on both you've got FM radio on both it says fingerprint reader in the display, and they both have facial recognition too. I'll cover the fingerprint readers, not going to cover the facial recognition now I have it enabled on here.

It's a lot faster on here and I, just disabled it all here, because if you know the wait time for the camera to pop up wasn't as fast as I like. So you get a forty-five hundred million power battery over on the seventy and then a four thousand really up on the meet me. Nineteen eighteen want fast charging the box and twenty-five watt fast charging the box over here on the a seventy. So what else? This is running a Snapdragon 730 on the Amino I'm t, and this is running the eight nanometer chip by the way for those techies out there. On that me.

Ninety- and this is running a snapdragon 675 with an eleven nanometer chip on the galaxy, a seventy so with all that stuff are out of the way I'm going to skip around on my list here. I'm gonna start with LTE, because a lot of you guys ask about LTE and I cover it in nearly every video, but some people just ask questions first, and they refuse to watch so here's what I want you to do to people who ask a question that it's not answered in this video or that it is answered in this video tell them to watch the video. If you see comments in this video saying, how much does it cost, or would you buy it from or does it have LTE on cricket and does have ELT on T-Mobile? You tell them and your response watch the video or use Google. So, let's cover LTE. They both work on LTE in the U.

S. for all GSM providers. There 's's your answer to that question: they both get full LTE in the US, but it does not work on boost Sprint and Verizon, and things like that. Neither one of them now side. Note I'm, told that the galaxy, a 70 actually works on Verizon I, don't see how that's possible, but if someone got it working, I guess I don't know, but officially they don't work on any CDMA carriers.

Only T-Mobile, crickets, metro, PCs and things like that. Now, as far as quality of service, that's going to depend on your location, but I'm telling you in this video both these LTE full LTE with no problems and I have cricket I have a tea. I have cricket AT&T and T-Mobile, and Google Phi and I also have other accounts too, but their CDMA. So there's your LTE question now. As far as call quality goes, they both do very well on call quality.

However, the GAO see a 70 when I'm talking on this phone people say people it okay. So let me start over here on the 90 I. First, my first one I was using it. People were saying: I can't hear you I can't hear you or I couldn't really hear them too well, now that it's I've been using it for a little, I guess it's a matter of me hold how I'm holding the phone or something like that, because they both have an earpiece up there, but I'm, assuming that the microphone and earpiece on the 90 fall on the little the weaker side. For me, where I'm located now, some of you guys have the 90, and you're getting great call quality I'm, getting good call quality, but as far as sound quality goes I like that better on the 70 for some reason, I just think it sounds louder, clearer, more vivid, so call quality an LTE on both to me pretty much good to go now.

Let's talk about software, so software on both I had to change the launcher back to the default launcher on here. I forgot to turn it on, but so because I normally run there with my favorite launcher, which is a pics' launcher. You guys know this: it's not a secret now stock software as they come right out. The gate I prefer the Samsung software I, like Xiaomi software, but man having to take just not being able to have an app drawer by default. It's a little of a hassle because.

You have to set up all of these right here, and you have to separate to put them in folders. If you have a lot of things folks, it is going to be a hassle to get all of these. You know in their respective place. It is. It takes some time, and it's a little frustrating, but it's totally possible.

So software I prefer the Samsung software. Now, let's talk about day-to-day use on the software for both they're both fine again, it's not that I dislike the Geese off of the me9 software me UI, 10 just prefer the Samsung software. It just looks a little better to me, and it's a little more organized now performance with the software. No problem would either one just no problems at all. Everything is what it is I'm on my other profile here.

Everything is what it is. So other battle is going down. Man, the champ is getting ready. These only means so much I'm only doing this because of you know the processors inside to set some expectation for you on what you could get possibly from here scrolling through they're. Both fine I, don't see any issues with it.

Let's open up Twitter you can see how they open up. They both do well in performance when it comes to day-to-day tasks of opening applications, and things like that. So that's something that is going to be good on both the processor inside the performance, everything they both have six gigs of RAM, and we're going to get to that. Now, the both have six gigs around. Unfortunately, for you shall meet owners, you don't have an SD card, so you're capped out at 6, gigs of ram or 6 weeks, around 60 for storage or 128 storage, and that is it over here.

I have a total of 256 gigs and this can go up to a terabyte of storage with an SD card, so it has 6 gigs of RAM and 120 gigs, onboard storage, plus I have 128 gig cards in there, and I can go up to a terabyte. So obviously that wins to me over here. That goes to the galaxy, a 70 and that's just on paper in real life. You can't upgrade the memory at all on the 90 and that's something that you should expect. If you go into buying one of these devices, the galaxy 70 wins, so let's go ahead and look at cameras, and we'll be right back alright guys.

So here is the vs, the Samsung Galaxy a 70, and this is a comparison that I've been waiting to do, but we're going to go and get this done. So looking at the branches and stuff here in these bushes, this is one of the first times I've seen a phone saturate more than a Samsung device and I can tell you just looking at firsthand the galaxy. A 70 is way more accurate than the mean 90. Quality is a really nice on both, but the 90 is making it look a little more saturated than what it really is. Now that that's bad, it's just that the 70 is a better representation of reality.

Just look at the grass right there you can see up under the tree. It's definitely not that punchy in real life. True to life, is on the 70 and that's 4k footage. You can look at my rug here there we go 4k footage now, one advantage. This is 1080p.

Now one advantage. The 90 has over the now in this setting the 4k footage for the 90 didn't look as good as the distant EP looks perfect, even though it's still not as accurate as the galaxy, a 70, the me nineties, 1080p video, looks perfect. Now, one advantage. The 90 has over the galaxy a 70. It can shoot wide-angle footage in any resolution.

The 70 cannot speak in a wide-angle. Video will switch to wiring a video, so the 70 can shoot video at 1080p at 30 frames per second in wide angle, and again they mean 90 can shoot wide-angle in any resolution, which is a huge plus. Its funny cameras look good when they're by themselves, when you put it next to another device, you see what it's really about so looking here at this wide-angle shot. Clearly, this is not a representation of reality on the p90, because it's making everything really, really green, but we're focusing on the wide angle, shots and both of them look perfect when they're not side-by-side, I think the 70 is the winner for the camera portion of this video. Those are the cameras now as far as battery goes.

These are almost equally matched I'm able to pull it down seven and a half hours of screen on time on this one on a single charge and seven I have to eat on this one so battery it's kind of a wash they both are perfect battery. You should be able to get more than seven hours on both of these if you're really pushing the phone and, if you're, just a mild user you'll get a couple of days actually- and you know between two and five hours of screen on time. Over those couple of days, however, use your phone, so this should be. It should be ok with that now, as far as screen quality goes, let's load up a video here, and I'm going to do I'm going to do something. Now this is a Super AMOLED and this is an AMOLED.

So let's do a 4k, 60, and we'll load up Peru. We only she's program, alright, and let's do the same over here. These freaking ads, 4k, 16 Peru will stretch it out, and we'll put it to. This is an HD, our videos, you can see this phone is HD, are certified, and you're going to get a nice crisp photo of a video over here, and we'll load it up on here as well, and we'll play them, and you can see so, let's get this here set to go now before you say this isn't a fair battle here. Just take a look, so we'll see if I can play these at the same time here, I'm going to have to tilt them up for you all right, so we've got HDR on the bottom and super AMOLED on the top, so check that out now in this video, you can see that the Samsung phone is really making it super punchy.

But the 90, the playback on here, is really beautiful in a lot more accurate to what I would say. Real life is they're, both beautiful, but this is HDR certified, and this is not, so I wanted to play this video to give you some representation of how beautiful both of these screens are and then also you get a full display over here on the mean I'm T. So there you go. Both displays are beautiful, but I give the edge literally edge to edge, to the mean 90 the mean I'm T's display is absolutely beautiful, and it's a lot more true to life when it comes to accuracy now design, design, design of the devices this one right here, the 90 again has some beautiful accents. Now I've already covered up, my I covered this phone up with a skin because I like skins, and I'll, be covering this one up with a skin as well.

But if you just look at you, this phone has like that. Flip-Flop finish, rainbow looking finished with a black background, and this one is carbon fiber now, even though you can't see it, I definitely prefer the galaxy a 70s bill quality or excuse me design on the rear I, like the cameras off to the side here, I like I'm here too, but again, I got my skin on here. So just play. Mind tricks with me here. Remember how this actually looks: because I'm, not taking my skin off it has a maybe I can pop some pictures.

I, don't you know what the phone looks like end result? Is the design of the phones are really nice I, like the color of the back of the 70 a lot better, but I like these red accents around the camera and stuff like that? For the 90 I mean auntie has a pop-up camera and a headphone jack on the top, and then the a70 has the headphone jack on the bottom they're both type C and the SIM tray is on the bottom of the 9090, and it's on the side of the galaxy a7 t, but as far as design goes they're, both designed very well I like how they both look- and you know, they're good. As far as build quality goes they're both built about the same to me. I don't have a preference on which one I think has does better build quality than the next. So let's look at the finger providers. There you have the 870 blows the pants off of the other me 90 blows the pants off the galaxy, a 70s farce bill cloud or fingerprint goes so with all that said, it's beautiful carbon fiber and put it back into its case.

It's home I. Do have this particular case coming for this phone now. Have that video up for you shortly, but let's take a look at these folks, basically you're looking at two phones that are pretty much almost designed the same and the is a personal preference on what you decide you want, but you know I think that the Galaxy S7 70 takes this one. There's more I like about the galaxy, a 70 than the 90, when I compare these side by side. The 90 is an awesome phone, but you're getting a Super AMOLED display over here, a bigger display.

It costs less. As far as price goes, this cost I got this for 300 I got this for 340 bucks, they say, 70 was 340 and the me 90 was 300, so price they're close, but my overall I, like the call quality better and on the the galaxy, a 70. The 90 has a stronger LTE signal in some places won't be, can and start software goals. I. Definitely like the guy see a 70s software like the Samsung software, a little better than the meat UI performance, I, think they're about the same I, don't see much difference and cameras I like video, better on the galaxy, a 70 and still shots better on the 90, the battery there pretty much equal wash the screens are beautiful on both, but when you play video high quality video, this is HDR 10 compliant, and so you know it's got It's got a more true to life.

Flashback etch! It's gonna, look a little more real when you're watching content in a sense, but that's totally dependent on your eyes. Now. I do like the galaxy a 70s display, obviously, but this is HDR 10, and it plays HDR videos very well-designed I like them both, but I do favor the galaxy a 70s design, even though this has the pop-up camera in the full display. If I wanted that on the galaxy, a 70 I could get it, I could just get the galaxy an 80 and be done with it. Instead of a bigger display, the build quality and design they're, both good I, just kind of favor, the galaxy, a 70 for the win, I recommend them both.

Actually, if you were telling me hey, Jay I only have 300 bucks. I would tell you about the 90 I mean if that's what its cost at the time, and if you had the little more money, I will tell you go ahead and go with this one of the 70, because the 70 has expandable storage, and you get a bigger screen, and this doesn't have that big of a footprint compared to the 19. It's just a little bigger, and you get a nice vibrant punchy display this. Even though this is a six point, seven inch phone I have massive hands, but the phone itself is not very big. I mean you think about.

This is a six point. Four inch display, and it's slim Muzzle, you know it's insulin- does is all the surrounding way'm saying, so this has slim bezels too, and it doesn't have a pop-up camera. So no moving parts. Some people might like that a lot of us do I, don't mind having moving parts, but if I had a preference, I wouldn't take moving cars. That's just that's just me.

So this one goes to the galaxy 870 in my book and I feel like if the galaxy a7 is smashing this phone right here, I, don't need to compare this phone to the Pixel 3a Excel, the pixel 3 XL will, can definitely smash the 90, but that's just me talking I might go ahead and do it you, let me know if you want me to do it, but I can already tell you that I, don't think you can touch the pixel, 3/8 or 3a Excel I, don't think so. It's manage hope you guys enjoyed the galaxy. A 70 is the winner in this battle. Folks leave a comment down below. Let me know what you think: figure.
