Google Pixel 4a Battery Life Review! By SLpreme

Hey, what is up guys welcome back to SL premium today we're going to be reviewing the Pixel 4a's battery life, so starting out with the numbers. The Pixel 4a has a 31 William hour battery. So that's actually a medium-sized battery. If you compare it to the pixel 4 and the 4xl and of course that makes very good sense, because this is a mid-sized phone, it's not too small, and it's not too big, but it is a little thick, but let's get into the actual numbers so on a very balanced usage, so a little of games a little of data and usage, camera, Instagram, YouTube, etc. I got to six hours and 50 minutes with two percent left on the battery, but if you're more of a heavy user, I got the 50 with only three hours of usage. So then, if you do the math, you would get six hours of battery life if you're a heavy user.

So another piece of data is slightly less heavy usage would yield you four hours. So if you double that, that would be eight hours and, of course, another data. This is extremely heavy use. I was actually doing a little of gaming, so I got to four hours with only 27 of battery remaining on my phone. So if you think about that, this phone's battery is actually insanely good.

But one thing to keep in mind is while you're gaming, the battery drains a lot faster than I would have hoped. I don't know why, but I'm guessing it's because of the weaker GPU, since it only has a Drano 618, and it's possibly not to optimize for efficiency, because the pixel has the 730g, which actually has a slightly overclocked graphics processor. Am I stuck yep, I'm stuck I'm busted, so yeah. That means on a daily basis using this phone, normally doing social, media, photography and all sorts of stuff like that. You should have no problems at all with this phone, but if you are a gamer, the battery may suffer a little, especially with the weaker GPU you're going to lose a bunch of battery life and also not get very good CP GPU performance, and so in conclusion, this phone's battery life is perfect.

Obviously, it can get a little better with gaming performance, and so that is a weak side of this 350 dollar phone, the gaming performance and the battery performance during gaming, but other than that this phone will not.
