Hi there, my name is Sam from worlds. com and welcome to new comparison, video between the Xiaomi mi 11 and the iPhone 12 Pro max. We are comparing both phones in terms of display performance, camera design and battery, so stay tuned and find out which phone is, in our opinion, the better phone. If you'd like to see more videos like this feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bell, let's start straight away with our review. Let the facts be display. The iPhone 12 Pro max has a 6.7 inch display with a 1284 p resolution. The 6.7 inch display, therefore, measures 17, centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 458 PPI, the iPhone's olive screen creates, as usual, very natural colors. The refresh rate on the iPhone 12 Pro max is 60.

Hertz sounds like a decent screen, although no 120 hertz refresh rate, let's see if the Xiaomi can top that the Xiaomi mi 11 features a 6.81 inch, two color display with a 1440p resolution. It uses an AMOLED screen which creates very natural colors. The mi 11, therefore measures 17.29 centimeter diagonally with a pixel density of 515 PPI. The display also has the adaptable, 120hz refresh rate with a quad HD resolution and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. This one was very one-sided, as each homie beats its opponent in every single category.

It features a higher resolution and pixel density has the bigger screen and supports the crucial 120hz refresh rate, which the iPhone doesn't a clear point for the mi 11. Camera. The Xiaomi mi 11 is encrypted with a treble rear camera setup featuring a 108, megapixel wide angle, a 13 megapixel ultrawide angle and a 5 megapixel telomere camera its front. Camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels, the mi 11 records, 8k videos at a maximum of 30 frames and, of course it features an optical image. Stabilization, Xiaomi's camera looks perfect, but before we take a closer look first, the specs of the iphone 12 pro max has a triple rear camera system.

It features a 12 megapixel ultra-right, a 12 megapixel wide and a 12 megapixel telephoto camera. The front's camera resolution is also 12 megapixels. The iPhone 12 Pro max records 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames per second, and, of course it has image stabilization for video. The 12 pro max also has a sensor shift optical image stabilization for its wide angle, camera both phones have good camera systems, but which one is actually the better system. Let's take it to our camera test and, let's find out which one does a better job.

First, let us take a look at the pictures taken on both and daylight conditions. Both devices take great and sharp pictures. The mi 11 is still a bit sharper than the iPhone and is slightly more saturated. On the other hand, the iPhone has more contrast. Next, we compare the nighttime pictures here.

The iPhone seems to perform better, even though it is overall darker. Its picture has more contrast and more details. Both phones have a great front camera, but the one from me 11 has again a slightly better result. It seems slightly sharper and more natural, while the iPhone is more saturated, maybe a bit too much. The 12 pro max has a 5 volt optical and 12 volt digital zoom feature the mi 11.

On the other hand, only has a 30 volt digital zoom, which doesn't really do a great job instead of zooming in its focus is to get closer to objects which are already really close by having a super micro, camera. Okay, so thoughts are good. Now, let's switch from photo feature to the video feature to find out which of these two phones takes better videos. What you see- and here is the quality of Xiaomi's me 11 video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality.

Let's see what the competitor sounds. It looks like what you can see, and here is the quality of Apple's iPhone 12 Pro max video recording. We set it to the highest possible video quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like the sound quality from the iPhone is better compared to the, but the mi 11 looks sharper than the iPhone, and the color temperature on both seems off. The iPhone looks too over saturated and too bright, and the Xiaomi too unsaturated.

Let's go in a bit in post to see how that looks like, as you can see, balls look pixelated when cropped in, but Xiaomi's device has way more details. That is mostly due to the fact that it was recorded in 8k. Therefore, in this comparison, it has the upper hand 10 times cropped in. It is even more obvious, while the 12 from max is only able to shoot slow motion meters in full HD with up to 240 frames per second, the Xiaomi mi 11 is able to shoot full HD videos with up to 480 frames per second. The camera comparison was again very difficult, since this category is a complex one, the results differ on each part of it, a lot which made it not easy to pick a winner.

Let's do a quick recap. The had slightly better results in the daylight pictures, but was clearly losing out in the nighttime picture. The zoom feature is to be left out because digitally the iPhone can't zoom as far as in me, but still it has a zoom lens, which offers an optical zoom. The mi has a macro camera. Instead, visually the video feature was better on the mi 11 side, because the 8k had more details, but the color temperature was not flattering on both and the sound quality was better on the iPhone.

The slow motion feature seems better on the mi 11, but 480 frames per second are not really usable in full extent, because you are only able to record two to three second clips. In the end, we decided to once again call it a draw. Let us know if you agree with us on this decision. In the comments below performance, the mi 11 uses the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 chips with the power efficient, 5 nanometer process technology. It offers 8 gigabyte ram and there are two storage capacities available: a 128 gigabyte and a 256 gigabyte.

The storage capacity can unfortunately not be expanded, so the newest processor that Qualcomm has on stock. What has the iPhone got to offer? The iPhone 12 Pro max is equipped with apple's a14 bionic chip, the phone has 6 gigabyte ram and the individual models offer different storage capacities.128, 256 and 512 gigabyte are available. Dodge capacity, unfortunately, cannot be expanded, as it is typically for Apple iPhone devices, Qualcomm snapdragon 888 versus Apple's news, a14 bionic ship, who is going to come out on top, let's take them into the n2d benchmark and the geek bench 5 test and find out. The tests are divided into three phrases: a performance test of the ram, a test of how the device is handling two-dimensional, graphics and an endurance test of how the device is handling 3d, graphics. The second test is from geek bench.

This app will measure the performance of our smartphones in terms of CPU and GPU. Alright, so Xiaomi's me 11, performed exceptionally in the an tutu benchmark, producing the highest score we ever had by far. The iPhone, on the other hand, had better results on both geek bench test categories, but we have to say that comparing an iOS with an android device and the an tutu benchmark test is not representable, since an tutu has different measurements on each operating system. Still we give the 11 props for the high-end 2d results, which, in the end, leads us to a draw in this category design. The iPhone 12 Pro max has a glossy stainless steel frame and a matte glass finish on the back.

Typically, for apple, it has a very high end, look and feel to it. The turbo cameras are well positioned in the upper left corner on the back of the phone, the smartphone weighs 228 gram, it's roughly 16 centimeters long, 7.81, centimeter wide and 0.74 centimeter deep. It uses apple's, lightning connector and is ip68 rated. So it's water and dust resistant, and it is supposed to be four times more drop resistant than previous models. The iPhone uses face recognition technology to unlock the phone, the face ID as usual works perfect at daylight and also good in a week.

Light environment apple knows how to come up with a great high-end design. Next up the me11, the Xiaomi mi 11 comes over as really coherent and clean. Besides an aluminum frame, it is completely covered in corning, gorilla, glass victims with a matte finish on the back. Vitus is a brand's newest version and is said to be an even more robust, upgrade to gorilla glass, 6. , increasing drop performance and scratch resistance.

The camera bump that beats a design we haven't seen before it is stabbed with each lens sticking out by a different amount, but not too far. The smartphone weighs 196 gram. It has an USB-C connector at the bottom, but is missing a headphone jack. If you are an acoustic junkie, Xiaomi has you covered on another end, though its dual speakers are produced by the expert of Harman Kardon, producing crisp high-end, sound quality, the phone uses an in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI Facebook ignition technology to unlock the phone. It is missing the ip68 rating, though here we have two flagship phones worthy of their name, also in terms of design both have their pros and cons.

Of course, the me11 shines with a matte metal. Look on the back and incredible dual speakers produced by Harman Kardon, the slim front, camera notch is a plus, and we also appreciate the innovative design of the camera bump. The absence of the ip68 is a problem, and we didn't like that. The side parts were around while top and bottom were flat. A clear design line would have been better here.

The iPhone, on the other hand, comes across very sophisticated. The design of the phone is overall crispy clean. It looks and feels very valuable from all sides, and its camera bump is very well-designed and placed considering all the facts. It is just the superior phone in our opinion and gets a point in this category. Battery the iPhone when fully charged has around 687 million hours.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi mi 11 when fully charged at 4 600 William hours, both phones, support fast wireless charging, but only the mi 11 offers reverse wireless charging. The Xiaomi has the bigger battery and should therefore last longer, let's bring them into our day-to-day usage test and see. If that's true, the Xiaomi mi 11 has the better charging capabilities and on paper it should also be able to last longer. But the newest iPhone never stops to surprise us in this category. It outlasted its competitor by more than two hours and clearly deserve the point here.

If you want to see the full battery test click here conclusion, alright, alright, alright, let us take a look again at all the categories which phone will come out on top with the most points in this comparison, video. As always, though, we start off with the first category, which is the dispatch category here. The Xiaomi mi 11 clearly had the upper hand with a bigger screen, higher resolution, higher pixel density and because apple somehow still doesn't see the need in increasing it. The mi 11 also has a higher refresh rate. So the first point for the next up the performance point: would this be a batter between android phones, the mi 11 probably would have won, but since Apple has been stronger in the geek bench 5 results, we called it a draw on this one.

The complex camera category had us give them both a point, since they both had good results on different aspects of this category. The design category got dominated by the iPhone and had, in our opinion, the more sophisticated look which lets it win. This point. In the end, the iPhone also was able to score the battery life comparison, since it's got 4 points compared to the 3 points which the Xiaomi mi 11 squads. Naturally, we review more than these five categories covered here.
