Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra vs OnePlus 9 Pro Camera Comparison | After the updates!

House and grant here welcome back to another camera comparison. Video and today I've got the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra up against the OnePlus 9 pro. Now, both these phones have gone through several updates, so this is an updated camera comparison for each of them and the Milan ultra is running mini 12.5.6 with the latest June security update and the OnePlus 9 pro is running its latest system update, which is up-to-date to June 2021, and so both of these are running android 11, and I think this will be an interesting camera. Comparison you'll be able to see how these phones and these cameras are now running with their latest updates and how they compare against each other. The mile ultra, of course, has the very hyped up camera system there and much deservedly so with really high power cameras really large sensors, and it's long range periscope zoom lens, but I do think it's been a little overhyped, not quite performing up to my standards. I think the minimum focusing distance can be improved, so I think Xiaomi still does have area to improve there.

As far as our image, processing and OnePlus 9, pro has gone through several system updates, so you'll see how far they've come since the beginning, including how they've been doing with their partnership with Hasselblad here so in either case. I do think both of these phones still have some ways to go to update their camera systems. I think they can both be improved, but I do think it will be interesting to compare them against each other. Furthermore, I think these are some popular phones for android of 2021. So hopefully you enjoy the comparison, because I'll show you a bunch of photos and videos in both good and low light conditions like I always do to decide which of these two camera systems might be best for you, so go ahead and take a look at all the photos and videos, and let me know what you think: hey so: hey, hey, my hey, hey ever said: we're in the park testing the rear, video on the mi 11 ultra and OnePlus 9 pro.

This is the ultra-wide angle lens on each so panorama. Give you a feel for what that looks like here on each of the phones. The mi 11 ultra has a slightly wider field of view, so you fit a little more in the frame on the 11 ultra than you can on the OnePlus 9 pro, and you can see how they're, both having that afternoon light coming off to my left. Pretty well, not too much flaring going on there. So again, this is the ultra angle, camera here to start with on each, and here are the main camera on each of the two phones.

So I'll do the same thing and pan around to give you a feel for what the main camera looks like here between the m11 ultra and OnePlus 9 pro and, as you can see in these trees here, there's usually a lot more shadows, so the trees tend to be a little darker than what they're doing showing here. So both doing a pretty good job of lifting the shadows, but the meat level ultra seems to be doing a little better job, and I'll go ahead and pan over here to the right, and we'll test zoom there on the cell tower. So we go to two times on the OnePlus 9 pro, not sure why it's not using that three times telephoto there, but let's go all the way up into let's go to two times here to match on the me11 ultra. So you can see what that looks like and let's move into five times, let's see if it clicks into the telephoto there. So there you go five times on the m11 ultra and let's try to get into five times here as well on the OnePlus 9 pro, and we can go all the way up to a max 15 times, zoom here on the melee ultra and a max 10 times on the OnePlus 9 pro it's a little clearer there on the kneeling ultra than it is on the OnePlus 9 pro we'll back these out here.

Let's move it back to one times here on the b11 and let's click in there we go one times main lens and let's test autofocus around the post with the m11 first, so there we go and refocus and focus again so pretty snappy autofocus here on the m11, as you would expect, and we'll do the OnePlus 9 pro here so also really snappy here actually on the OnePlus 9 pro, both with some really nice shallow depth of field, blurred out background there and good subject separation, and so let's go ahead and test stabilization here by walking down the stairs, give a feel for what stabilization looks like here. We came to two phones, see if you notice any kind of difference here, as I walk through this path, we'll pull up here at the end, and we'll pan up and pan over into the afternoon sky, to see how it handles that bright afternoon. Sunlight ever heard some front-facing video from the mi 11 ultra and the OnePlus 9 pro. This is at 1080p 30 frames per second on each. They both can shoot up to 1080p 60 frames per second, but this overall video will be exported out at 30 frames.

So I figured I'll just keep the frame rates consistent here, and so I like to start out in some shade, which is some optimal lighting conditions here, to give you an idea for what each of these cameras and video quality looks like here in some pretty even lighting conditions, but I'll go ahead and start panning around. So you can see how the changing light affects the video quality here, especially as I pan around back this way, where you have the sun behind me and kind of see what that does to the picture quality. You start to get some lens flares and some blown out background a little, but we'll continue to pan around all the way. So you can kind of get a feel for that. You can see the light behind me and what that does there, and we'll come all the way back around, and we'll start walking to test stabilization.

Give a feel for what it looks like here between the two front, facing cameras on the me11 ultra and the OnePlus 9 pro. So let me know what you think about the video quality here on each of these two phones, so so so hi everyone. So here's some low light, video from the rear facing cameras on the Xiaomi mi level, ultra and OnePlus 9 pro. This is the ultra-wide angle, camera on each at 4k 30 frames per second here, as you can see, the Xiaomi has a larger field of view, meaning you can fit more in the frame here, and so that's not the camera. Those lights are actually flickering.

If you're wondering, and I'll go ahead and show you the main cameras, all right. So here are the main cameras still at 4k 30 frames per second on each and yes, the lights are still flickering, but I'll point up into that trees. If you notice, with the ultra-wide angle lens, you couldn't see them as much, they kind of blended more into the skyline right now with the main lens, it brightens things up more on each, and so it has much more definition in those trees see much more separation than you saw before, against that skyline that dark night sky, and so I'll go ahead and pan around. So you feel for what these main lenses look like, and you'll also notice that they're flaring out that bright streetlight a little more because they are pulling in more light and brightening things up a little more. But this is the difference between these two main lenses here on the mi level, ultra and OnePlus 9 pro, so we'll also go ahead and pan over this one start walking to death.

Stabilization, give a feel for what that looks like here in 4k and low light on each phone, and we'll also be moving over to a much darker area. So obviously that was a lot of light in that area. So each of these cameras had a lot of opportunity to show you good quality. Video in that kind of lighting situation, but as around the corner here you can see it's much darker and both of these phones are brightening up this area much more than they really are. As far as what I'm seeing with my own eyes versus the viewfinder, it's a lot brighter on video right now, and I'll go ahead and pan up the night skies.

So you can see kind of what's happening here because that's fairly dark, we do have some light pollution, but because they're kind of brightening up the scene, you get a little more noise, in this case, at least on the viewfinder, I'm seeing a little more on the m11 ultra than the OnePlus 9 pro, and we'll go ahead and pan over this way, where there's a mixture of kind of more darkness, but a little more light, obviously on the alleyway this way and so get a feel for what that looks like here on each of the phones here, main camera, 4k, 30 frames per second bye ever so here's some front-facing video from the Xiaomi mi 11, ultra and OnePlus 9 pro. This is at 1080p 30 frames per second again. They both can shoot up to 1080p 60 frames per second, but since I'm exporting the overall video out at 30 frames, I want to keep everything even here and so obviously I'm outdoors in some good lighting conditions. Even though this is low light, there's a lot of lights around me. You can see to the left and to the right of me and as well as behind me there.

So I just want to show you what each of these phones can do for the front-facing cameras in some optimal lighting conditions here at night, and so, if we start walking we'll test the stabilization here and see what that looks like on each of the front-facing cameras, and I'll also be walking over to a much darker setting. So you can see how these cameras handle a little more of a darker area with a lot less light and see if they still perform fairly well or if they struggle I'll, also be passing a founding to my right. So that'll test out the audio and the microphones here to see how they sound against the sound of my voice, and I'll pan around. So you can see the really bright streetlights behind me. As you can see right there.

Each of these front facing cameras are actually pretty well. There they're not flaring those lights out too badly. They are really bright lights, and I've seen other phones do a lot worse there. So I'll come back into this darker area, so you get a good feel for and comparison of this much darker area here between the front facing cameras on both the m11 and the OnePlus 9 pro. So do.

Let me know what you think of all the photos and videos here that you saw in both good light low light, which one did you prefer. Do you think OnePlus 9 has done a really nice job, after all, the updates and their partnership with Hasselblad, and are they really competing with phones that have a lot of horsepower and probably more well known to the cameras like the Milo and ultra so again drop me a comment, let me know which one you preferred and why any other questions or comments about either these phones that I can answer even leave them in the comment section as well? Try to answer what I can as always, thanks for watching.
