Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra vs Vivo iQOO 5 Detailed Camera Comparison

What's up everyone welcome to another camera comparison video. Today we have Xiaomi mi 10 ultra on the left and VIVO IQ 5 on the right, I'm not going to go through all the specifications. It's given in the description, if you want you can check anyway, I must mention that this VIVO iq5 doesn't have a periscope lens. Only VIVO iq5 pro got that if you end up liking this video, then please click on the like button and subscribe to this channel. Let's start in different style check these two images carefully yeah. It would be better if you can watch this video at 1080p.

What I see is clear difference on the left: it's more details, superbly, processed textures, almost no noise and grains color, rendering contrast ratio, ambience processing everything is at its best and the image on the right simply mediocre yeah. These are 200 cropped versions of the original images, and here are the original images which one looks better now, which one depicts a reality and portrays the moment when I grabbed these images, obviously Xiaomi meet an ultra. Actually, these pictures show what we can expect in average. From these two smartphones, if you have any argument against this, then please, let me know in the comment section below watch this video with an open heart and mind. Xiaomi meets an ultra.

Camera became more than a beast after that update. If it was better and fighting with other flagships before then now it is far better. Xiaomi has provided a better update to the camera, and now performance is amazing. Okay, there are some downsides of that update, but we will talk about that later. Don't get me wrong.

Vito, ICO 5 does very good, but Xiaomi mi 10 ultra, has entered another level long exposure photos takes a while to get processed, sometimes it's longer than 5 to 10 seconds, but the outcome is really great. You can see here. Xiaomi's mi, 10, ultra processed well-lit areas, increased ambience and highlights without blowing the tails processed textures and rendered colors with perfection. On the other hand, VIVO ICO 5 images looks a bit dark and blurry. There is a huge difference, but how does other smartphones do? There are many people praising Redmi k30 ultra camera performance, and here it is.

I am trying to make a point here: VIVO iq5, camera performance is great under bright daylight, but it's only better than mid-range in nighttime. I wish you understand. Okay. Finally, it's day time, I have taken all the photos in auto mode with auto HDR. Without tweaking any of the settings yeah AI was enabled throughout this camera comparison.

I was thinking and feeling one thing. This VIVO iq5 camera performance is a mix of VIVO x50 pro and OnePlus 8 pro it's like. They have picked the advantages of those two smartphones, camera setup and stock camera application then blend those to make a better version. There is difference in white balance and color grading. VIVO iq5 usually keeps the tone cool during daytime, while Xiaomi mi 10 ultra goes for slight warmer tone.

Dynamic range is usually better on Xiaomi mi 10 ultra, but there are times when VIVO IQ 5 competes with a slightly wider dynamic range. It is an obvious that VIVO ICO 5 generally produces sharper images with a bit more details when photos are grabbed with ultra-wide lens Xiaomi mi 10, ultra ultra-wide lens field of view is wider than any other android smartphones, and when you compare side by side, it is clear that Xiaomi mi 10 ultra can grab more, but sometimes exposure is not that correct on meter ultra, and it saturates a bit yeah. There is a pro mode on both of these phones, and if you have time, then you can switch between options and get a pro shot of your choice, but most of the general users uses that auto mode- and I feel like this- represents true pros and cons of the smartphones. Let's talk about the daytime photos taken with main sensor and both of these really performs as good as true flagships. Both produces truly fantastic photos under good lighting, brilliant dynamic range full of details, along with superb color, rendering trust me even in harsh lighting condition, both performed well but yeah.

There are differences and I would share with you some major and minor points. I have already talked about white balance. VIVO echo 5 usually keeps the tone cool and Xiaomi mi 10 ultra has a warm tone. Yes, not in all images, but randomly you will see it on images in most photos both are pretty similar, but in some photos you will find drastic differences. It's mainly because of that white balance and color grading.

Yes, some may like what others dislike, and that's why this is all about personal preference, but you will also see exposure issue goes back and forth. Another thing surprised me is details, sharpness and texture processing. You have seen that VIVO iq5 did great when photos are taken with ultra-wide lens, but it's a bit soft and textures are lost in the processing when photos are taken with that precious main sensor next is saturation. And yes, this time it's Xiaomi, me tan, ultra and saturation is a bit higher in outdoor photos. We will talk about indoor photos later after checking tons of outdoor daytime photos.

I found that this is not an issue, because the difference is pretty minimal, but VIVO ICO 5 color sometimes looks a bit better. Besides Xiaomi mi 10 ultra now, a lot of people may say: VIVO did better because of that cool tone. But please remember that you can edit white balance, but you cannot add textures and details to any image. I would say: Xiaomi mi 10 ultra did better in daytime main sensor photos Xiaomi, mi, 10, ultra and VIVO ICO 5 both comes with a 2x telephoto lens. These are old-school lens for 2x optical zoom and Xiaomi.

Mi 10 ultra also got a periscope lens for 5x optical zoom, no Vito, ICO 5 doesn't have a periscope lens. Vvik5 pro got that vivid.5 has done this in style with perfection and if we crop in then you can see the differences. There are more details and images on the right is really pretty sharp. Not only that mid-tones and highlights are far better on VIVO ICO 5 images that leads to true to life. Color tone and overall images are close to reality.

Yes, Xiaomi mi 10 ultra used to be one of the best, but now VIVO ICO 5 tops it without any issue. I'm talking about outdoor daytime photos and if you want to know how good it is, then you should watch the camera comparison between VIVO iq5, vs, OnePlus 8 pro make no mistake when it comes to that 5x periscope lens of mid and ultra VIVO iq5 has no answer to it, and even that VIVO IQ 5, pro periscope lens is clearly inferior to this Xiaomi mi 10 ultra periscope lenses. Now this is a 5x optical versus 5x, hybrid zoom, on the left. This was taken with 5x periscope lens and at a glance, truly it's pretty difficult to understand. How good is that 5x optical zoom image? Okay, let me crop in and is it clear now? I recommend that you watch this video at 1080p to understand the quality and differences for sure, Xiaomi, mi, 10, ultra grabs, more details.

Exposure is better color, rendering and textures. There is no point where VIVO ico5 could put up any fight once again, even a VIVO iq5 pro finds it difficult to meet an ultra periscope lens. If you think it may happen in one or two photos, then you are wrong. It happened almost every time. If you think it is not fair to compare a 5x periscope lens with a 2x optical zoom, then yes, you are technically right, but it is what it is: okay time for indoor ultra-wide shots under artificial light and once again white balance and exposure.

These two are the main differences between these two smartphones. Color grading is almost the same, however, Xiaomi mi tan ultra is saturating images a bit after that new update, it seems like this update requires a bit of polishing, maybe requires another update, nothing very different from outdoor ultra-wide shots. However, in indoor VIVO gets edge ahead. This Univision ov-48c is really amazing. Yes, Xiaomi's top camera, saturates, the color a bit, but that makes the images lucrative.

I have mentioned many times based on personal preferences. Things may vary, but considering the amount of details, textures and sharpness, I am really eager to go with Xiaomi mi 10 ultra. Another thing hurts VIVO. Is its a random white balance issue in Xiaomi? That's a trend, but in vivo ICO, 5, that's truly random, and even that 2x telephoto lens acts differently under indoor lighting condition loses sharpness and details. It's very different from what we have seen in bright daylight photos, Xiaomi meet, and ultra selfie performance is more natural.

Skin tone is close to reality and background have way more details, but the problem is some people will argue that VIVO iq5 selfie image has more details in the shadows and the face is more visible. I cannot deny that because preference of different people is different. VIVO IQ 5 made my skin tone brighter than what it is in reality made my skin smoother than what it is in reality and yeah. That's what most of the people want to have and that led to somehow lucrative images without enough details and textures. Also color grading of VIVO IQ 5 is really awful.

Xiaomi's mi, 10 ultra colors are true to life and far better in portrait mode. Vito, iq5 added soft both. It's not that heavy, but in some different conditions, both effect is really different. Edge. Detection of both of these two are really similar.

I will leave selfie videos for you. You are the one to judge and differentiate, make a comment with your judgment, and I will pick one comment based on my affinity toward that comment and will provide with a surprise in my last video I have ranted harshly about Xiaomi's 4k export format and yes, there is a change with this beta update. Now it exports to rec 709. I think- and it is really better than much other meat and ultra obviously have more details, processed textures with finesse and color. Rendering is really pretty close to reality.

I am truly impressed what about you got this super ultra steady mode and how come I do a camera comparison without that this is a 1080p video with super steady enabled on both of these two smartphones. It seems like on super steady mode that new custom sensor actually works better. I mean a vivo. Video is looking better. What's your verdict on this anyway, we are about to wrap up.
