Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra vs iPhone 11 Pro Detailed Camera Comparison

All of these images were taken in auto mode because I think high number of users use their smartphone camera in auto mode. What is up everyone welcome to another camera comparison, video outside. It's still raining. It's raining pretty heavily. Furthermore, it's been raining for a few days, so I'm trying to record this selfie camera video and take selfie pictures selfie portraits in a garage. Okay, this one is a Xiaomi mi, 10 ultra and this one is iPhone 11 Pro.

So what do you think? Which one is doing better, I'm pretty happy to see that Xiaomi finally added some stabilization to its selfie camera: okay, let's flip to rear cameras. Let's start our camera comparison, but anyway, if you end up liking this video, then please don't forget to click on the like button, and please subscribe to this channel. Let's start with portrait photos or both, whatever you say, iPhone 11 Pro being one of the most expensive smartphones failed in most of the occasions to correctly identify and detect edges of the subject and yeah this time there is no change. Also look at that insane background separation from the subject. What is this really? This isn't funny it's painful, because this smartphone costs a lot when it comes to human or model photography, portrait mode of iPhone 11 Pro performed a bit better than the last both Xiaomi mi 10 ultra chose to go for a bit over exposure and brightness and iPhone 11 Pro kept skin tone.

Correct skin, smoothing beauty effect of Xiaomi mi 10 ultra makes things a bit soft, but look at that hair color and I can see true to life, color tone and more textures on the image produced by mitten ultra at a glance, it looks pretty similar, but let me crop in now. Can you see the difference in terms of both effect? Both did very good creamy both without insane background separation. Both did very well wait. Don't just get very happy. Xiaomi meets an ultra portrait mode performance in low light is awful, and it gets crushed by iPhone 11 Pro time for ultra-wide lens daytime pictures, and it's no surprise, but both of these two smartphones can take excellent photos during the day, and I don't think there is a huge or drastic difference between these two.

However, there are differences, and they do perform well in some different conditions. Based on a few factors, I am happy to see that Xiaomi, me 10 ultra, has really put up a fight, no wait. In some cases, Xiaomi meets an ultra crushed, iPhone 11 Pro with its performance. I can say both offers images that is sharp full of details and dynamic range, but after snapping and checking almost 100 pictures side by side, I found some key differences. The first difference is in white balance and color tone.

iPhone.11 pro usually ends up with the brightest overall image, which I think a lot of people appreciate and like to get that type of images straight out of the camera, but sometimes it really goes a bit too high and misses the correct point of overall exposure. On the other hand, mutant ultra goes a little dark, especially in ultra-wide shots which can be tuned and edited later anyway. It's like any other camera comparison. This is a preference thing for sure. It depends on what you prefer, as I have mentioned, about the white balance and tone earlier iPhone.11 pro white balance changes randomly and that heavy warm tone. It's like a random puzzle.

Sometimes it's there and sometimes not. I am really surprised to see how good is this: Univision, 48 megapixel main sensor, yeah Xiaomi, me 10 ultra, comes with the Univision main sensor, and it grabs more details with sharpness. Xiaomi has really improved its stock camera for mid and ultra, and it's amazing to see how it processed all the textures, with almost barely any loss. Yeah, mitten ultra kept its exposure issue in main sensor. Photos too.

It's nothing serious cause. Usually it's pretty minimum that you wouldn't even notice. However, in harsh lighting condition, you will find it annoying. I am again surprised, but this time it's because how iPhone 11 Pro unnecessarily saturated the colors. This was a trend of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, but look at this picture on the left.

Now you know Xiaomi really worked hard to make their 10th anniversary edition. A true flagship, dynamic range of Xiaomi mi 10 ultra is far better than any other Xiaomi smartphones and, as I have said earlier, sometimes it's even better than iPhone 11 Pro. However, this pretty good dynamic range gets ruined by its poor exposure and contrast ratio yeah. There is a big difference between AI on and off, but I think that AI, improvised images are really far from reality and that blue tint is way too heavy through the image. Xiaomi's need to teach its AI the difference between a cloudy and a sunny day.

I believe this will be fixed through an update in near future.5X periscope versus 2x telephoto and BS both got is to stabilize the images under bright light. It may seem like wow iPhone 11 Pro did really great, with its 2x telephoto lens BTN Xiaomi mi 10, ultra 5x periscope lens zoom image, but is it true check carefully? Do you see the difference? It's like day and night? I mean the differences, some apple fanboys may say: one image means nothing, and yes, here is another image, and again I have cropped in to make it clearly visible. The truth is iPhone.11 pro 2x telephoto lens could put up some fight in bright daylight, but under low light or in a haze day. The differences are so obvious that I don't think I have to talk about details, sharpness and textures once again under good lighting condition and yeah. No luck for iPhone 11 Pro I have tested this mutant.

Ultra periscope lens against Oppo find x2 pro periscope lens and Oppo lost by a mile when it's about 2x, telephoto, lens versus 2x, telephoto lens, then iPhone 11 Pro is edge ahead with its wire support. However, that is clearly visible. Only under bright lighting condition. The moment you start taking 2x images under harsh or low light, Xiaomi mitten ultra gets back to the competition, and it puts up a heavy fight with fine textures and details, but finally fails due to its poor exposure. Now truly, a lot depends on personal preferences, white balance and color tone along with saturation issue.

I'm surprised. Why didn't I notice these issues on iPhone 11 Pro before? Is it like? No other smartphone did better than meet, and ultra is this mutant ultra really the best out there when I started to take indoor and low light photos, a lot of questions raised in my mind: color rendition, sharpness details in the shadows, white balance and tonal contrast find a point where I can say iPhone.11 pro is the winner. I have tried but failed. Yes, exposure is better in some cases, but other than that mitten ultra is the winner of indoor ultra-wide shots. Wait.

I cannot ignore that Xiaomi mi 10, ultra in low light condition, tries to take images with long exposure, and you need to be careful and stay focused. If you move a bit, if there is any tilt produced, images will look a bit worse than usual, moving on to main sensors and iPhone 11. Pro performance is like a crazy roller coaster. Ride I'm happy, and I really mean it. Even if there are some issues with Xiaomi mi 10 ultra, which you will notice this mutant ultra, is one of the most consistent performers, the way it continued to reproduce true to life colors and kept the tone same in different lighting conditions.

I am ready to say meet an ultra won this battle, but that would be a little exaggerating cause. Sometimes that exposure and contrast issue will annoy and frustrate you. Sometimes. It goes dark and sometimes way too bright. Xiaomi's mi, 10 ultra especially fails to control.

Well-Lit areas, fails to maintain and manage selective exposure for bright areas, but don't worry that happens only a few times in 100 photos, and it's not a fixed trend. On the other hand, iPhone 11 Pro kept saturating the images not heavily but a bit, and that is noticeable unlike outdoor photos, iPhone 11 Pro produced images. That is a bit darker but close to reality. I cannot give a straight verdict, because different people have different preferences. I would prefer midterm ultra indoor images more than iPhone 11 Pro.

We have checked out.2x, telephoto lens images, and it was a tough fight between midterm, ultra and iPhone 11 Pro. However, moving into indoor environment iPhone loses its advantage. Ugly white balance and awful saturation of iPhone keeps median ultra the advantage, and once we start taking photos with that, precious 5x periscope lens Xiaomi, me 10 ultra is too good to get compared with iPhone 11 Pro 2x telephoto lens, better dynamic range, true-to-life, color, rendering sharpness and enough textures with low noise. What else would you require in a good image? Please don't make a comment that aha iPhone 11 Pro doesn't have a 5x lens. If it had, then it would be better for sure cause.

That type of comments would only be counted as funny. Fanboy comments try to appreciate and try to accept the truth, and the truth is Xiaomi. Mitten ultra is far better when it comes to that 5x periscope lens. These videos were recorded at 1080p, and I have enabled ultra steady mode on meteor ultra. There are some jelly effect, however, I should say mid and ultra really did great other than white balance and saturation things are really as good as iPhone 11 Pro.

This video was recorded at 8k on Xiaomi mi 10 ultra once again, white balance and saturation is an issue iPhone 11 Pro cannot go beyond 4k mid and ultra did perfect in stabilization. If you want to do some nitpicking, then you can find issues but ask yourself how many smartphones offers 8k with this quality within this price range. These videos were recorded at 1080p, 30 frames per second, and things are better on mute and ultra natural color tone stabilization and overall, of course, this 1080p clip is way better than 4k clips recorded by meteor ultra. However, we are doing a comparison between iPhone 11 Pro and midterm ultra, and it is really hard to beat iPhone 11 Pro in video recording, more details, higher sharpness, true-to-life tone and lot more textures, all together, iPhone 11 Pro is the best when it comes to video recording with a smartphone. I don't know why Xiaomi cannot fix this ugly saturation issue on 4k yeah on the left is Xiaomi mi, 10 ultra, and look at that color tone awful.

Yes, these videos were recorded at 4k, 60 frames per second and that's the best for iPhone 11 Pro on meteor ultra. There is some kind of stabilization I mean as. However, it lost to iPhone 11 Pro in every segment. I wouldn't record any video on 4k using this mutant ultra. This issue is there.

For many years now I mean Xiaomi, me 9, pro Xiaomi mi 10 pro and some other Redmi devices all have this color grading and white balance issue on 4k and Xiaomi did nothing to minimize this issue. This is not acceptable. Yes, if you think 4k 30 frames per second would be better. Then here are 4k 30 frames per second clips for sure stabilization improved a bit, but it became soft, more textures are lost in the processing and that ugly saturation remained the same anyway time to wrap up, and I think Xiaomi mi 10 ultra did great. I mean overall, did really great considering its price tag.
