WOW. This phone is GREAT! Infinix Hot 10S review!

Hey, what's up, so you remember the brand called infinite yeah, I remember them yeah they got a brand-new phone in the market right now. It's only 499 ringgits, okay, give me that yeah infinite, it's a smartphone brand that I've not seen for quite a lot of years, and we only ever reviewed one other smartphone from this company a few years back, can't remember what's the name, but I do remember that they brought an active stylus to that phone, which also offered quite a lot of unique features on its own at a very affordable price, so the infinite hot 10 s. I just want to reiterate again that this phone is priced at only 499 ringgits and I really love this phone. So, let's begin with this review by first talking about the unboxing experience, because it's its just weird so opening up the box, of course we're going to get the phone itself, and then we get a charger, an USB cable we'll get more to that later and then also the accessories box in here. When I first opened it up, I had a good chuckle because they included a more like an invitation card for you to join the infinite community in the form of a banknote. I don't know why, but this is a very high quality piece of printed paper, a thick piece of paper to tell you to join the infinite community and inside this accessories box is also where we'll find the included case, alongside with a piece of screen protector.

Yes, the infinite hot10s does not come with a screen protector. Pre-Installed, so you'll have to apply it on your own. I'm not too sure if pre-installing a screen protector out of the factory is going to increase the price by a lot, but it's still a rather weird choice. Anyway, back to the infinite hot 10 s by first looking at the back of this phone, we can see a physical fingerprint scanner which I truly like I mean it's convenient, and it's really, really fast. Also, it's a very glossy plastic bag, and it also has this kind of special pattern that you can see under certain reflection angles flipping around here.

We can see this screen right here. This is a 6.82 inch, IPS LCD screen that can also run at 90 hertz, refresh rate. Yes, for a phone of this price, you get 90 hertz refresh rate and overall, I would say I didn't realize any sort of motion blur or any sort of slow pixel response time. It's a very competent 90hz, refresh rate display, which is perfect. One of my immediate reaction when I look at this display, is how long it is, so I did some digging.

I looked at the specs, and then I found out that its resolution is at 1640 by 720 pixels. Then I did some quick maps, and then I found out that this display has the exact same aspect ratio as my ultra white monitor behind me right here. It's 21 by nine. The display can also be bright enough to be used outdoors. But what's weird with this display, though, is actually the automatic brightness feature, so you can see that when I turn on automatic brightness, it does adjust itself to the appropriate brightness, but it does seem a little too dim for most of the time, not to sure why, but this display can definitely go brighter than what it has detected.

So this is a minor annoyance to me personally, and I think a minor software update can easily remedy this issue, no problems there. As for the performance side of things, the infinite hot10s is very interesting because this phone comes with a MediaTek hello g85 chipset, if I remember correctly, yeah hello g85 and this chipset can definitely run some games on this phone, like Genshin Impact at its lowest graphical settings, yeah no problems which is good and then same, goes to PUBG, mobile and CLD mobile. I mean this phone is impressive, so yeah again, I'm really liking this phone so far and do keep in mind that the infinite hot10s only comes with four gigs of ram and 64 gigs of internal storage. But if you want to expand more than yes, it does have a micro SD card slot as well, and also to keep everything running for hours and hours. On end, this infinite hot 10 s comes with a 6 000 million power battery which lasts for a freaking long time.

In our battery life test I mean in real life situation. It can easily go beyond two days without much of an issue if you're a bit more frugal in terms of battery usage, also the charger that is included with the infinite ho tend s is a 10 watt charger. That isn't a problem for me. But what is a problem, though, is the bottom. Here you see this.

It's a micro USB port in the year, 2021 micro USB on smartphones shouldn't happen, but here we have it micro, USB and usually, at this point of the review, we will show you the graph of how fast this phone will charge from 15 to 100 with the included charger. But unfortunately we cannot do this time because for some reason our usual app does not work with the infinite hot 10s, not to sure. Why? But from what we have manually counted takes about two to three hours to charge from 15 to 100, which is understandable because it only comes with a 10 watt charger, and it also has a massive 6000 William hour battery so yeah and speaking of that, let's just talk about the software on the infinite hot10s. So by looking at the settings menu, we can see that it is actually using something called Los and the one that we have here is version 7.6.0. Overall, I really do like the user experience of the Los it's rather clean, and one of the major improvements that I would like to see.

Other brands follow is to do this swipe up to reveal all the other modes available for the camera, instead of swiping all the way to the right side yeah. This is much faster to access all the other modes available and one more major highlight. Is this one, the quick access panel, all the icons in there are humongous, but what I'm not really a fan of, though, is the amount of ads on this phone. Technically they are removable because they are ads from pre-installed software into the Los. For example, we have something called palm store, which constantly send me notifications to tell me to download some random app and also there's something called to party bees.

X-Share. All of these apps can either be removed or disabled no problems there and one unique feature that I don't see any other brands doing is something called magic button. So this magic button functionality lets you remap the volume up and down buttons to be a physical trigger. Just like the black shark 4 black shark 3 pro ROG phone series of smartphones yeah, it works, and I don't see any other smartphone brands doing this. It's definitely not comparable to real physical triggers on both the left and right side of the phone but yeah.

This is actually a decent alternative and again kudos to infinite, for including this kind of features into the infinite hot 10 s, and also we need to talk about the camera situation of the infinite hot 10 s, because, as you can see here, this camera cutout has a total of three different cameras, but only one of them is usable. So let me explain: we have a 48, megapixel, f, 1.8, main camera and then a depth sensor beside it and then the third camera here is an AI lens, not to sure what's that about. But it is the information that we got from infinite's official website look. I have no idea what this AI lens is or if it actually does anything to create a better picture, but for what we know, though, the infinite hot10s does take some decent looking pictures after all, so, okay, then for the price of 499 ringgits. You get this phone, which I think it's a very good price for what it offers.

It has pretty good performance, decent cameras, actually very good screen with 90hz refresh rate. If you are into that, and also the software experience is surprisingly good, so yeah, I really like this phone for 499 ringgits, you are getting this phone and my only one and only complain is the micro USB port. Please, if infinite is watching this video, no more micro, USB, please, especially in the year 2021, we should all be using type c and yeah. That's if it's a fantastic phone, I'm really loving the infinite hot 10s, and that's all we have to share with you about this phone in particular. If you have any questions, leave your comments down in the comment section below, and we'll see you guys in the next video there's a fly.

You.
