Will it FIT? - Apple Watch (Series 6) First Impressions! By Soldier Knows Best

Okay so, finally, the Apple Watch Series six is here and mine took a while because I did get the blue version with the braided solo loop. So it looks like those versions took a while to ship, but it is finally here and actually a few days earlier before they promised so anyway. Let me get inside this box and let's see what comes with this new Apple Watch- and I think all I have to do is pull this tab and let's get this thing, ripped open, and I usually only upgrade apple watches. You know once every two years to be honest with you, because there's really not you know a lot of huge changes that they can do with this type of form factor, but it will be definitely good to have an Apple Watch within always on display. So let me uh take this off all right. So let's get this out of here, and we have a bunch of different apple watches on the inside.

Here I like that um. But let's see here we have these two boxes here that contain the watch band and also the watch itself. And, let's start with the watch band and the official name for this watch band: is the Atlantic blue braided solo loop, all right? Let's get her out of here and see what we got here boom there we go so what's special about this is that it doesn't have any latches or anything. So it should just be one single piece that you can easily take on and off of your wrist and there's nothing else inside there, and I can tell you already- this does feel good, it's very stretchy, and hopefully it fits though, because there have been some issues with the sizing, because in order to get this fitted for your wrist, you actually need to print off something from Apple's website, and it's a little guide that you cut it out, and you place it on your wrist, and it should give you an number and basically that would be the number that you need to order as far as the size of this. But some people have been finding that it's been either too tight or too loose and when they go to try to get it replaced by apple, they have to send not only that wristband back but also to the watch itself, so that kind of sucks, but it does look like apple- is reversing that a little.

So I have seen some reports actually tonight that they are going to either allow you to like just ship, the band back itself, or they'll. Send you out a replacement or something like that so anyway go to Apple's website or if you do have, issues hit up apple, and hopefully they can get it solved for you. So we'll see how this fits in a second. But now let me get inside this box and take a look at the watch and boom. Here we go, so we have the kind of paperwork here to give you some instructions on how to use the Apple Watch.

We don't need that then. Also, too, we do have the Apple Watch charger. I don't need to take that out. I already have a bunch of these, so I don't need to uh look at that, but also too there is no wall adapter inside this box, but yeah let's get to the Apple Watch, so I can tell you already. Furthermore, I think I made a perfect decision going with the blue color, because I love this kind of deep.

Furthermore, I don't know is it navy, blue or whatever color? It is so. Let me see if I can get it out of his uh protective wrapper here. Man that's in there, or maybe I'm doing it wrong so yeah this color looks really, really nice, I'm glad I went with it so um they also do have a product red version of this Apple Watch Series 6 that you can get, but I'm liking this blue and yeah. This looks perfect, so I typically go with the space gray color or something darker. So I like the fact that this blue is not you know super.

You know bright, and you know baby blue anything like that. So it's a perfect type of blue for me because it doesn't stand out too much but still looks perfect. But let me go ahead and get this braided solo loop on here and see if it fits- and hopefully it does- and hopefully it's not too tight or too loose, but just right, and I need to take off this Nubia watch here- that I've been uh using here for the past couple of weeks. Pretty cool has a perfect. You know flexible display on there, which is kind of cool.

I did a video on that I'll. Leave that link somewhere um but yeah. Now is the time and the app watch already turned itself on. But now is the time to see if this is going to fit. It seems like it's going to be a little tight, but we will see.

Let me get this on. Oh, okay, that my friends is perfect, perfect size, and so this is made out of thousands and thousands of fibers, and I forgot the exact fiber but yeah. It is premium feeling um, we'll see how it does stand up when it comes to working out and getting sweaty and stuff, but I'm liking it man. But now let me get this paired up with my iPhone. I'm not going to make you sit through.

All of that, so I'll be back in a second boom all right, so I got everything set up with this watch. It is paired with my iPhone and what you're looking at right now is the always on display, which apple says is going to be brighter this year, but when I rotate it up, it should wake up and then now I can go ahead and start using it, and so the series 6 does have the new s6 processor inside it, which is dual-core, and it's going to be running, watch OS 7 and with watch OS 7. You do have some new watch faces to choose from, and some of these are going to be the older ones, but um yeah you have some more to choose from. If you want to kind of spice things up a little um and then also too, you do have some different complications, and you see there. There is a little of a lag there when I'm swiping through, especially when I'm coming from like one of these emojis here so um definitely needs a little of fine-tuning, but even with that, I still feel that apple does have some of the best watch faces.

I just wish that they did allow for third-party watch faces, so you can have just more to choose from, but from the ones they have. I really do like the complications and the way those things work with the watch faces, so I'm cool with them. Oh- and this is the 44 millimeter version of the Apple Watch, so it's going to be the biggest one, so you have plenty of screen space here and so yeah watch OS 7 runs perfect. You have some different sleep tracking. You can do with this thing, and you also do have family setup, which will allow you to be able to set up multiple apple watches, and so you can give them to your kids and other people, and they don't necessarily need to have all the accounts themselves and so, along with all the other health features that this watch already has like ECG and also fall detection, and things like that, and you can monitor your heart rate and all that stuff.

Furthermore, you now do have a ability to be able to monitor your blood oxygen level, and I think this is the app right there, and so this will allow you to definitely get more information about how you're doing it. So let me take my first reading here and see what we can do and actually, let me put my wrist down on the table all right boom. There we go so looks like I am at 98, so I should be good to go for now and um, so you can also see this information inside the health app on your iPhone. If you want to kind of keep track of this information- and let me hit this button- so this gives you just more information about you know what all this is really doing, and so yeah with these health changes and all the other little changes in watchOS 7. It's not a huge drastic update, but I think all the little things start to add up over time.

But I think, with this update, a lot of people are going to be focused on the new color, with this new blue, looking perfect and the product red, and also this you know, braided solo loop or just the regular solo loop. But again you can get these for the older apple watches, so these aren't exclusive to this new version, but I think for the most part you're going to be interested in the smartwatch. If you may be like me and you, and you don't upgrade like every single year and to buy these 06 apple watches, they will start at 3.99. But if you don't want to spend that amount of money, you can also get the Apple Watch. Se, which is new from apple- and this is not going to have as many features as the series 6, but we'll still have a good amount of them, especially for its 279 price tag.

So that's definitely a perfect price for you. I think this will be good for people who haven't upgraded in like two years or so.
