What To Do If Galaxy Note 20 Won't Charge

Hey guys in this video we will show you the things you can do with your Galaxy Note 20. If it refuses to charge when it comes to the charging process, it should start from the charger to your phone through the cable and that's what we're actually going to do here. We will begin our troubleshooting from the charger to the cable into your phone. With that said, here's what you have to do check the charger to know if it's defective or burned, if it's burnt, you should be able to tell through smell. If that's not the case, though, then you should check the port and look for something that might be obstructing the current. If you can see something inside the port, try to carefully remove it, because that's probably the reason why your note 20 is no longer charging next check the cable, the cable bridges, your phone and the charger.

If it's broken or something, then the current may not reach your device to check. If it's the problem just make sure that the connectors on both ends aren't wet or obstructed by any debris or land. If they seem dirty, you can always soak them in alcohol and wipe them off with dry cloth. It's actually easier to clean the USB cables as they're larger. You may also run your fingers from one end to the other to know if it's broken somewhere.

If the problem isn't with the charger or the cable then check your phone's charging port when using a wired charger. The entry point of the current from the charger is the charging port so make sure it's clean and that there's no obstruction in it. If, for some reason, you notice that it's wet or has moisture in it get a small piece of tissue paper and put it in leave it there for five minutes or so force, restart your phone after cleaning the power, adapter cable in the charging port and your Galaxy Note, 20 is still not charging, then try doing the forced restart. That is if your phone still has enough power. There are times when a minor system glitch can cause various kinds of issues, including this one to force restart your note, 20 press and hold the volume down button and the power key for 10 seconds.

Your phone will power off once it boots back, and you see the Galaxy Note.20 logo release both keys and wait until your device has finished rebooting. If your Galaxy Note 20 won't charge even after this, then try connecting it to a computer using its cable. This will tell you if the problem is with the power, adapter or cable. If your phone isn't detected by your computer, then the problem can be with the cable. However, if it gets detected and the battery icon doesn't show that it's charging, the problem can either be with the power adapter or the charging port.

After all, that and your device is still not charging, then turn it off and try charging it, assuming that your device is still powered on, but still won't charge. After doing the previous solutions, then try turning it off and connect it to its charger, using the cable that came with the box, while both the firmware and the battery are involved in the charging process, when the device is powered on, it will still work, even if the phone is turned off. Assuming there's no problem with the battery, you may also use a third-party charger and cable just to test if your phone is still capable of charging. If all of these methods fail, then it's time you have your phone checked. We hope that we've been able to help you one way or the other.
