Unboxing the Google Pixel 5 | AT&T Inside Look

Hi, it's Daniel. I'm really excited to share the next Google phone, the Pixel 5. It’s known for having the ultimate Google experience with 5G. AT&T is also carrying the Pixel 4a with 5G, which has exceptional Google features and is budget friendly. I will concentrate on unboxing the Pixel 5, and we will share some comparison features with the Pixel 4a with 5G. So, let’s dive in.

Opening the box, we see the Pixel 5 on top. Let’s take that out and see what else is inside. We have a sleeve that houses some paperwork such as your Quick Start Guide, terms and conditions and other information, as well as the SIM card tray tool. Then inside the box is a charging adaptor and USB-C to USB-C charging cable. There is also a USB-C to USB-A female adaptor.

So, let’s take a closer at the Pixel 5. It has a nice matte finish. This here is Just Black, and it also comes in Sorta Sage. The Pixel 4a with 5G comes in Just Black as well and has a smoother finish as compared to the Pixel 5. On the back you have the signature Google logo, and the fingerprint sensor here, and you can see there is a dual camera with an ultra-wide lens.

On the bottom, you have what looks to be two speakers, and your USB-C slot. On the right side of the device is the volume up and down key, and the power button. On top is a microphone and on the bottom left side is a SIM card tray. And looking at the front, here we have the front facing camera. So, powering it up, let’s take a look at the screen display.

Pixel 5 has a 6” edge-to- edge Full HD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Comparing that to the Pixel 4a with 5G, as you can see the Pixel 4a with 5G has a larger screen size at 6.2” Full HD+ display. In terms of battery, the Pixel 5 has a 4,000 mAh battery, and the Pixel 4a with 5G has a 3,800 mAh battery. Both phones have an adaptive battery which learns which apps you use most and reduces power to the ones you rarely use to help your phone last longer. They both have a fast processor.

And the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a with (5G) also have the Titan M Security Chip. This is custom-made to help secure the operating system and your sensitive data, like passwords. So, let’s move onto the camera. Both the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a with (5G) have dual rear cameras with an 12MP standard and 16MP Ultrawide lens, and an 8MP front camera. There are other great camera features such as Night Sight which allows you to take vibrant images even in the dark.

And Portrait Mode + Portrait Light, which puts the subject in focus, fades the background, and adds more light when you need it. Other cool features that I think are important to point out are Duo HD Screen Sharing which allows you to share your screen and watch movies during a call with another person. It's pretty sweet. And Duo Family that allows you to share interactive filters and draw on screen while you are on a call. So, check out the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a with 5G both from Google.

Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time.
