Unboxing & Hands-On - Samsung Galaxy A72! Yes, comes with a charger! By Nasi Lemak Tech

So this is it. This is the Samsung Galaxy a72 and in this video we're just going to unbox it and go through some of these features, alongside with the galaxy, a 52 and also partly about the galaxy a32. Let's begin during the galaxy an unpacked event, we know that they have the galaxy a72 52 and galaxy 832, at least here in Malaysia, so the galaxy a72 is available in a total of four different colors. So we have awesome black awesome, white, awesome, violet and also awesome blue. The one that we have here is in awesome blue, which is actually my favorite color this time around. It just looks amazing, and this is the official retail Malaysian unit.

So once we open up the lid, we have an accessories box. Let us just see: what's inside wow, they even printed this in glossy material but never mind inside. Here we have a bunch of documentation. Okay, they don't have an included case this time around, but we'll leave that for next time I mean they're, just user manual and whatnot not gonna, bother about it and then here we have the phone itself. The galaxy a72 and, as you can see here, it uses an infinity o notch display and then quad camera 64 megapixels for its main one with is, which is amazing, especially with that is and in a very surprising turn of event, Samsung also included ip67 for the galaxy a72 and also the galaxy, a 52, which is amazing, I mean, since when do you get to see a mid-range smartphone with ip67 rating right? So let's just unbox this phone right now- and this is it.

This is the galaxy a72 in awesome, blue color. I mean they really named it right this time. This is really an awesome. Blue color, even the frame here is also in blue color. The sim tray is also in an awesome blue color, which is just very calming to look at and a few things I want to highlight about its design number one, this thing as usual plastic bag, and it is using this very rough kind of matte finish.

It doesn't feel as smooth as the galaxy s21 series, but it is still a matte finish. That is how do you say this is a very fine texture that you can somewhat feel with your fingertips. The camera bump is very slick this time around. It's pretty tiny, as you can see here, it just raises a little and I think that's cool, because the whole camera cut out here is also wrapped in that awesome, blue color, and we'll just leave this here for now and proceed with the two other things inside the box. So we got a wow okay, now Samsung included an USB type-c to type-c cable, which is perfect this time, because a lot of things are already using type c.

So if you want to get a high wattage charger that supports USB pd and whatnot, you are going to use USB type-c to type-c cable. That is why they included this, but with that said, Samsung still included a charger with this phone. So you can see here it's a bit difficult to take it out. Let me just stress a little: whoop yeah. I might as well yank out the whole thing.

So this is the charger itself. Um yeah, it's the superfast charging, and it supports a total of 25 watts maximum. I presume this is exactly the same as the Samsung Galaxy note, 20 chargers with the 75 watts output as well. So what this means is that it supports USB PDP. So if you have any other charger that supports USB PDP standards, just plug it in, and then you will also get 25 watts of fast charging using those charges.

This just means that it's not a proprietary charging standard, which I really like and now back to the phone. As you can see here this time, around Samsung has a huge upgrade across the board for all of its galaxy, a series of smartphones. Now the first thing I want to show you is 90 hertz refresh rate. Yes, both the galaxy a52 and the galaxy a72 has 90 hertz refresh rate combined with its super AMOLED display. This is really a fantastic smartphone for every single use case.

Now, back to the cameras, the galaxy a72 has a 64 megapixel main camera with is and ultra angle, camera and then three times: optical zoom camera with is as well, and then another five megapixel macro camera. As for the galaxy a52, it's mostly the same cameras except that, instead of having a three times optical zoom, you get a depth sensor, I'm not sure, what's the relevancy of a depth sensor in today's day and age of smartphones, but it's there. So as for specs, I don't really know. What's the specs, because CPU kinda tells me snapdragon 732g, but from what I can find seems to be 720g, I'm not too sure. What's going on, but from what I can tell you.

There is no 5g variant for the galaxy a72 yeah and what we have here are eight gigs of ram 256 gigs of storage, which is amazing, and it also comes with a 5 000 William hour battery, which will definitely last you through more than one day without any issues at all. It is meant for day to day use, but if you want to play games then you can check out the video there now. One more thing that I need to highlight about the galaxy, a52 and a72 is that they are also running on the latest one UI 3, and they also have a lot of those flagship features brought down into this particular smartphone here and also the galaxy a52 by the way.

So we also have the full ecosystem support. We also have pro video mode this time around, although it's still limited by its hardware, but it's there. If you want to use it and many other features like Samsung pay h panel, everything is also present on all three phones: galaxy, a72, 52 and also a32. So this is kind of an interesting step forward for Samsung I mean they're putting a lot more focus on their mid-range smartphone nowadays, and I'm really glad that they're doing so because, as you know, the galaxy a51 from last year was the highest selling android phone of q1 2020.
