Should you buy iPhone 11 Pro in 2021?

All right, so it's 20 21 finally, and the iPhone 12 Pro looks kind of good right, but it's also kind of expensive. So how about an older model? The iPhone 11 Pro was released in 2019 apple, doesn't sell it on its official site anymore, but you can still find it at carriers and retailers and if you fish around a bit, you can find a deal on this thing for 600 even down to 400. Is this a good deal? Is this old iPhone even worth it? Yes, it is video oversee you next time, guys, hey you've made this lame joke before come back. Do your job finish the video, or you're fired since you put it. That way, is this old iPhone even worth it? Yes, it is. Let me elaborate.

Okay, first up, let's talk design. Now the iPhone 12 series did bring about this boxy new design with some love- and I personally think looks a bit awkward on the bigger models, so the iPhone 11 Pro is the last iPhone you can get with these curvy sides in the elegantly tapered glass, as you can probably guess. I kinda like this design, and I'm a bit sad that we're seeing it go. I think it's more comfortable to hold, and even though the numbers say that this iPhone 11 Pro is slightly thicker than the iPhone 12 Pro. It actually feels thinner to hold thanks to the magic of these rounded edges.

But you know the iPhone 11 Pro also has a smaller display. Again, I don't see this as much of an issue. It's still got a lot of real estate to work with, and it's not that much smaller than the 12 pro and since the iPhone 12 Pro did not come with a 120hz display, you're, basically dealing with the same quality all that panels, and they look great you're not missing out on anything with the iPhone 11 Pro when it comes to screen. Of course, when it comes to camera, the iPhone 11 Pro does feel like it's lagging behind the competition and even the iPhone 12 series by a little, and that's mainly because of the night mode feature and the raw camera feature. Now, when it comes to the main camera, you've got the same quality sensor here as on the iPhone 12 Pro just look at some samples.

Here's the iPhone 11 Pro, here's the iPhone 12 Pro, let's zoom in this is the iPhone 11 Pro using the two times zoom camera. This is the iPhone 12 Pro using the two times: zoom camera. Okay, let's go up to the max. This is the iPhone 11 Pro at 10 times. This is the iPhone 12 Pro at 10 times.

Zoom you get it. They look the same right. What about the ultra-wide cameras? Well, here's an ultra light shot with the iPhone 11 Pro here's one with the iPhone 12 Pro here's another iPhone, 11 pro ultrawide camerae and now iPhone 12 Pro ultrawide camera portrait mode. Here you go identical selfies I got you covered iPhone 11 Pro on the left, iPhone 12 Pro on the right. Okay, so where's the difference.

Well, the iPhone 12 Pro as well as all the competing android flagships have night mode on all of their cameras. Minus the telephoto, since this one is disabled, but at night, but the main camera. The ultra white and the selfie cameras have night modes on the 11 pro you only get night mode on the main camera. So here's what this looks like here is night mode shot, with both main cameras on the 11 pro and the 12 pro. Now, here's an ultra-wide camera shot with the iPhone 11 Pro at night.

It's not great, but the iPhone 12 Pro has night board for the ultrawide camera, and it looks like this much better. Then there's the selfie cameras again. The 11 pro does not have a night mode for the selfie camera. It does have a selfie flash. It looks like this and now here's a night mod selfie with the iPhone 12 Pro again, better, okay, so bottom line.

If you're using the main camera 90 of the time like most people, do you won't be missing out on a lot but yeah you will be lacking a few features. The iPhone 12 Pro also has apple's pro mode, which means it saves pictures in raw format. That's without any post-processing. You can take that big photo and add your own noise reduction. Add your own sharpening fix the highlights, fix the shadows, something that pros uh or enthusiasts will enjoy playing with, but for regular users like you like me, it's okay, it's there it's off, it's always off.

Lastly, the iPhone 11 Pro has absolutely no form of HDR video recording capabilities, which is still a pretty niche feature. It hasn't trickled down to the consumer market, yet so again, nothing to write home about also when the iPhone 11 Pro videos. Look like this. I kind of don't miss HDR bottom line, though solid camera lacks a few features. Can it make it through 2021? Absolutely? Okay, okay, but older phones are slower right.

What about the performance well see nowadays in the smartphone world with helideck plateau, which means we don't get any big upgrades year over year. Processors are so good that they have tons of productivity, headroom and especially the apple, a chips which are always ahead of the competition and absolute beasts. Rest assured that this 2019 model still runs absolutely as fast as it did on release. Yes, if you look at raw numbers and benchmarks, the modern phones are faster, but if you're, just you know using your phone you're just fine now, okay, let's address the elephant in the room. I am bold, I mean 5g nope, the iPhone 11 Pro has absolutely no 5g antennas.

I know sad, but look.5G still has a lot of way to go when it comes to coverage according to analysts and experts, it might take up to 2023 for 70 of the U. S. population to have access to 5g. If you happen to live on the patch of land that has constant 5g. First, I bow to you.

Secondly, yeah definitely consider an iPhone 12 or a galaxy s21 or any other modern flagship, but if LTE is your main data connection for the foreseeable future, just saying so, the iPhone 11 Pro takes a lot of the right boxes. Why am I bringing it up right now? Well, if you go to your carrier like at tor Verizon, you can get an iPhone 11 Pro for 999. Do not do this. This is release money. This is the price of the 12 pro, so no, but every once in a while.

These drop immensely in price. At the time of making this video you can go to Best Buy, you can get an iPhone 11 Pro on a contract with Verizon, and it will cost you 360 dollars. That's 360 links below you can check it out for yourself. That is an amazing price for a pretty good, iPhone point being if you're looking for a new iPhone shop around for the 11 pro see, if you can find some strike through prices and maybe get a really, really sweet offer, thanks for checking out our video on, should you buy the iPhone 11 Pro in 2021?
