iPhone 12 Pro & iPhone 12 Unboxing and Overview

What's up folks how's it going this watch hope you guys are all doing well, and today we're going to be doing an unboxing of the new iPhone 12, as well as the iPhone 12 Pro. One of the reasons why I want to do this. Video is these are very, very small boxes, basically for environmental reasons, as well as economic reasons, Apple has taken out the power adapter, as well as the headphones uh. That typically came with iPhones, which kind of sucks for the consumer, but is definitely a pro. Certainly from a shipping standpoint, is a huge benefit. Basically, the volume of both of these two boxes is actually smaller than typically one smartphone.

For example. This is the s20 ultra box, and it is way bigger than even two of these phones combined. So definitely a good thing from a shipping a standpoint. But let's see what comes inside the box, which isn't much uh. Luckily iPhones are super easy to unbox, because everything is pretty well-thought-out in terms of packaging and let's pop these guys open okay.

So we have the blue finishes on both iPhones uh. Basically, the standard blue on the iPhone 12 and the pacific blue, finish uh, which looks really cool on the new iPhone 12 Pro we'll take a look at the standard version. First, you can see we have a nice little white uh cover that highlights uh all the buttons which is really cool, as well as the lightning connection, and there is the phone itself we can turn it on now, the top portion of the box. We have the sim card opener, as well as an apple sticker, which is cool that they still include that as well as some general information about warranty and things like that, and the other thing that you get is a lightning to USB. This is probably a four foot- cable, very highly valuable but of course, you're going to need to find yourself an USB, a charging, a brake or hook this up to your Mac, which most of them have an USB connection.

Now. One thing I have to say is that the pacific blue finish on the iPhone 12 Pro is definitely my favorite uh. So far I have seen the other finishes, and this looks really nice. It's not really to fingerprint magnet, which is good, definitely better than the standard kind of gloss finish that you get on these uh standard iPhones, which are definitely going to attract some fingerprints. But obviously these have the MagSafe technology built in so with the new generation cases and wallets, there's a whole slew of accessories that will magnetically attach to these things, which is going to be really cool to accessorize your iPhone with.

But if you're going to rock it pretty much nude, I think the overall design and look of the new generation iPhone 12 is really killer. Let's go ahead and go through the setup and take a look at the display. Now here we have both phones set up and, as you can see, they pretty much look absolutely identical and that's because they are for the most part internally and externally, they're, both using the new 814 fusion soc both have the exact same display in terms of quality and resolution in terms of footprint, they're, also identical in terms of thickness and overall kind of size and shape. The only exception is that the iPhone 12 Pro is slightly heavier about 20 grams, more than the standard iPhone 12, and you can kind of feel that weight difference slightly in the hand, but not a huge difference. Nonetheless, now, certainly the biggest difference between the two is going to be on the cameras.

We have the four times optical zoom camera on the uh pro, as well as the capability to shoot. HDR adobe vision, video in full 60 frames per second versus 30 frames per second on the standard iPhone, but both can obviously shoot standard 4k resolution at 60 frames per second, both have the same exact front-facing camera configuration as well and apart from those little factors and the fact that you do have a higher memory capacities, basically starting at 128 gigabytes on the pro versus 64 gigabytes, on uh the standard iPhone and then going all the way up to 512 gigabytes and 256 gigabytes on the iPhone 12. There's really not going to be a huge difference, certainly from a price perspective. I think most people will probably go for the standard generation iPhone 12 compared to the standard pro. If you want the larger screen, you probably want to go with the 12 pro max, which is actually going to have even more camera capabilities, which we'll take a look at in the near future.

Once we have that phone in the hand now we're going to be doing some camera tests with these two phones, as well as the new uh Samsung s20, equivalent uh smartphone. So if you're interested in how the cameras fair up against its nearest competitor, which is going to be from Samsung, definitely check out that video once that becomes available, I'm that we'll see you later and take care.
