Top 5 BEST Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Apps for 2021 (Part 2)

Hello everyone welcome back to tech, it is easy, so you seem to enjoy my galaxy watch 3 apps video. I did a couple of months ago, so I thought I'd do a follow-up episode to that. So this is five more galaxy watch three apps for 2021 now they're very fitness orientated, but I guess that is generally what a smartwatch is for, but hopefully there'll be something in here that captures your attention now I do apologize because it is going to be a shorter video. This week I've had a really, really busy couple of weeks, but I will be back on track for next week with some longer videos for you anyway. Let's just get stuck into the video and do remember if you are new here, and you do find yourself enjoying the video please hit that subscribe button and leave a like if you found the video helpful so for our first Samsung Galaxy watch, 3 apps of the episode we've got the strata app now many of you will have heard about this before. Essentially it does a lot of what your galaxy watch 3 already does just a little better.

Now I might not have as much choice when it comes to exercises, as your galaxy watch 3 does, but it is perfect at the ones it does offer. So you get an option of outdoor ride. Outdoor run, outdoor warp, high Nordic ski workout, indoor ride and indoor run. Once you select one of these, it will bring up a screen, and it will start the workout. This will track your distance, your pace, heart rate and, more once you finish, the workout.

You can upload it to the strata app where you can see your analytics in a more detailed view. It'll also show you your route that you've run, which is one of the features that really drew me to this app now. Strata, initially is a free app, but it does have paid subscriptions. I personally think the paid subscriptions are worth it, but you can try it out for a month for free. It will give you personalized training plans and even help you train for things like marathons in terms of analytics it'll track.

Your average pace your distance, the time it took to do your run or cycle. Whichever exercise you've chosen, and it also keeps a training log showing which days you've trained and which days you haven't all in all, I think it's an excellent app now more than ever. Through this pandemic, I think it's an excellent opportunity to try and get fit. I've personally been struggling, but since I've got this app, it's really pushed me to get outside and do some running give it a go, and let me know in the comments section what you thought now in at number: two for our galaxy watch. Three apps episode is another exercise orientated app, and that is the home workout app and yep.

You guessed it. This one revolves around home workouts. I can't show you all the exercises as that sort of defeats the object of paying for the app, but you get a selection of different difficulties, and essentially you can just quickly start a workout, and it'll do all the timers, for you, it'll tell you what to do and when to do it, and you don't even need to look at the watch, you can just let it vibrate to prompt you. I've personally found this really helpful. It is a paid app, but it's not too expensive.

It's a really quick, easy, simple, app to use. Definitely a good one for you guys to try out if you're struggling through the pandemic to stay fit is something I'm going to keep using on a day-to-day basis. Now, in that number, three is actually a game. You know me. I do like my games and I found this one to be extremely fun, especially on such a small screen.

So this is the asteroids game, an absolute classic, and it's been bought to the galaxy watch 3. , it's incredibly simple, but incredibly fun. You have three different options for controlling your little ship, those being touch, control, motion control, and then you can also use the rotating bezel. I found that the touch control seems to be the easiest way to control them, not that I'm demonstrating that on screen now still a great little game to have on your watch. That might come in handy if you're ever on the train or just waiting for something it might fill in that gap.

Now, if you download this app, let me know in the comment section: your high scores, I'll pin the best score to the top of the comment section. Next up is the water reminder pro app and yep. You guessed if it's a water reminder app now on the first page is pretty basic and does what you would expect from a water reminder app. You can add or subtract a glass of water each time you actually drink one, but then on the next page it does actually have a timer. So this is your active mode, so you can set between which times you're going to receive these reminders and then on the next page you can select how often you receive them, so you can set it every half an hour or even longer, if you want to the page after that, will allow you to set a goal, so you can say whether you want to drink 10, glasses of water or more or less, and I've actually found it to be really helpful.

It has really encouraged me to drink more water. I've used water reminder apps before, but it's all been a sort of manual input and I just get a small notification at the top of my phone, which I'd swipe away. This actually vibrates on your wrist and almost forces me to actually go and drink some water, a pretty simple app, I'm not sure what more you could want from something like this again, another great app to help you stay healthy, and it'll work well with some of the other apps I've mentioned in this episode now. Last but not least, is to backtrack app. Now this is a bit of a fun one.

I'm not sure many of you will get some real use out of this, but if you're into hiking and exploring then this might be a good app for you. Essentially, what it is a breadcrumb app. So if you go out exploring you can actually see where you started and where you've actually traveled. So you can find your way back easy enough on the second page, we'll bring up your map, so it does use your watches, GPS and, as you can see, I've just been around the house. So it's left a bit of a yellow scribble where I've been going up and down, but then on the next page actually gives you a lot of information such as altitude latitude, longitude, speed and more than it has your route information and then a rather handy compass.

You can also configure the app on the last page. You can change from kilometers to miles and choose whether to display the map or not, then. Lastly, you get the choice of a light or dark theme. I thought it's quite a fun app. It works similarly that strata does it allow you to see your roots, give it a go, and let me know what you think, so those are my top five galaxy watch three apps for 2021.

As always. Let me know in the comment section what you thought and if you've got any more ideas for the channel, do write down in the comments section or on my community posts. I'm always wanting to know what you guys want to see on the channel, but for now thank you so much for watching, and hopefully I'll see you in the next one. You.
