This is the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G By Soldier Knows Best

Hey, what's up guys soldier knows the best stairs, so it is a brand-new day today and this time of the year. That can only mean that a brand-new smartphone has also been announced, and this time is coming from Samsung because they have officially announced the new Galaxy Z, flip 5g. And so I had the original z flip right here, and this is easily one of my favorite phones of 2020 because of the great form factor it just disappears in your pocket. When you fold it and also too it's just really cool, but the difference between this one and the new 5g version, of course, is going to be the addition of 5g. So this new phone will support, 5g being delivered by sub 6 and not millimeter waves, but it also will support Wi-Fi 6, and this will be the first galaxy phone to feature the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 plus platform, instead of the 855 plus that you find in this original z flip. So this is a bump up in performance, but besides those improvements, everything else as far as these specs remain the same, so you still have that same 6.7 inch, foldable display where you have certain apps and software that can take advantage of it and then the ram, the storage, the camera performance. All of those things are going to be the same, but there is one major difference which is my favorite and that's going to be on the outside, because the 5g version will be sold in two new colors, including mystic, bronze and mystic gray.

But it's not the colors, that's important. It's the fact that it's also going to be a soft touch finish so more of a matte finish, and you can see with the original z flip here. It just is a fingerprint magnet look at all of that, even if I wipe it off seconds later, fingerprints all over the place, and it's just so slippery in your hand too. Look at that. I mean, even if you put this on the desk, sometimes the vibrations will actually move it around.

So I usually find myself putting like the leather case here that you can get from Samsung on this phone and then also to putting maybe like a brand skin on it. But it's one of those kind of things that's mandatory, and hopefully this will not be the case with the new 5g version, but we will see, and then the final change is going to be the increase in price. So this 5g version will cost 70 more than the 4g version. So that's going to bump up the starting price up to 1450. But again you can buy the original z flip 4g.

If you don't want to spend that money. But I think if you're spending this amount of money, it's good to invest in 5g right now and then really. The only competition between this phone is like the Motorola racer. As far as like form factor- and I reviewed that phone- and I like certain things about it, but it still doesn't come up to par with this z flip. So if you've been thinking about getting this foldable phone, it's a good time to do it right now, because I don't think we'll see the Galaxy Z flip 2, the successor to this phone until 2021, maybe launched alongside the galaxy s30, but we'll see if Samsung surprises us, but for right now, um you can buy this phone starting on August.

The 7th- and this is really kind of like an appetizer for the galaxy unpacked event- that's happening on August, the 5th, where Samsung is more than likely going to introduce the Galaxy Note 20 and also to the new galaxy fold, to my favorite foldable phone form factor um, then also, maybe a new galaxy watch, and also some new earbuds.
