A Day with the OnePlus 9 Pro / Camera Review!

I'm shooting on it right now I'll be taking pictures using different modes and give you my overall camera experience. All the audio will be coming from the phone because for some reason it doesn't take any of my external microphones but anyways. If you quickly want to get your camera, all you have to do is go from your lock screen or double-click on the power button. Looking at the screen now it seems so overblown, and it's kind of um too radical of a change. So that's one thing to notice about this: one: if you're shooting on a front-facing camera, see it's really bright, and now it's not bright so yeah. I hope they can fix this.

I used OnePlus phones in the past. Furthermore, I really like the operating system. It's just that the cameras are always lacking, but going over the camera. UI is super easy to use you swipe, left and right to get to your mode, or you can swipe up and get to that mode quicker and on the very top. That's where you can get all the quick settings like timer, flash and resolution.

So far, my camera experience. It's all been really responsive and smooth, so I, like it uh, it does have a high-res mode, which I've used phones with high megapixels. Before and honestly they don't make a big difference unless you crop in, and also you lose the ability to zoom in, so I guess it's not really self preference. One thing that I noticed is that if you take a picture and quickly go into your gallery, you see that slight fade into that change and it kind of reminds me of um Google Pixel's uh camera taking pictures in portrait mode. I realized that it launched subjects a lot faster than their past phones.

I would say now it's pretty close to Samsung phones. So let's move on to the pro mode, and the first thing you realize is the leveler in the middle and histogram on top, there are camera settings on the bottom, which is really easy to reach. You can shoot raw and the thing that stood out to me, the most is focus, peaking and custom settings. So you can have your custom setting one as your daytime setting like this or custom setting two as a low light. Indoor setting tilt shift mode is something I don't quite often see on a lot of phones, but this is really situational.

I think a lot of people would just rather use portrait mode, but it really depends. I think this is a fun mode to have, and you can get creative with it. So this whole video you've seen the video quality and, what's helped me the most in the video section, is 4k 120 and 8k. So what I'm going to do now is take some samples and slow down the 4k 120 to get some smooth cinematic shots, and the last thing I want to talk about is time-lapse mode. You just put it down hit record and that's it.

One thing I do like is that you can change to hyperlapse mode on the top, and you can change to 5x, 15x and they'll. Let you know that oh 5x is for people, 15x is for like traffic, and you know the rest of it. So that's one thing I do like about it very easy to use and simple. So this is just a quick test of the front-facing camera to see how it looks like, but anyways, I'm just going to finish up at home all right, so it's almost um 9 p. m.

So yeah I spent a day with this and honestly, I think one plus caught up uh caught up to apple Samsung pixel, all the big boys yeah I can finally feel like OnePlus, is complete, like I said before, all the other ones that I've used in the past. The only thing that was lacking was the camera, and I always just want to put this phone away because of that now that the camera is perfect yeah. I can totally recommend this to pretty much everyone. A lot of phones have trouble during low light, and this one feels really snappy the only time when it's a bit slow, and it takes some time to process and is when you see HDR on the screen other than that I feel like. Finally, the camera has caught up actually, the only con I can think about right.

Now is the one I mentioned in the beginning. For some reason it doesn't connect to any of my external microphones. So I guess, if you plan to vlog on this phone, and you need better audio, I don't think I can recommend it for that, but I am leaving off with a great thumbs up with the camera really improved, and I really like it. If you want to see more of me, I do have Instagram you can follow me there. That's where I post more of my daily life, thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys later.
