The Best Cheap 1080p Chromebooks You Can Buy in 2021 By Craig Neidel

All right so in this video, what we're going to be looking for is some of the cheapest but best Chromebooks. You can buy like the one I have here. That's basically going to be 1080p, that's the criteria, so you're getting a perfect screen, you're, getting a fairly good system, running chrome, OS and for a good value. I'm going to show you what cheap means here in a second. So if you want to hear about this, let's go ahead and see what we can get. You know starting 2021 in the Chromebook world for cheap, but a good value with 1080p screens.

Let's go all right, so let's go ahead and start this video by saying. Chromebooks are good for certain things. If you like, basically, you know- let's say you're going to be just doing: email or web browsing very, very general tasks. You don't like viruses, because they're very protective against viruses, a Chromebook like this one here. This is an Acer model, perfect model here.

Um are you know more than sufficient for most people? So just keep that in mind. Chromebooks are good. What I want to do in this video, though, is I'm going to go out, and we're going to find in the beginning of 2021. Here I know it's. You know I want to forget 2020.

So that's why I'm saying that, because it's been a terrible year but 2021, let's hope it gets better. Um we're looking for Chromebooks like this that are going to be the best value the cheapest. You know the cheapest ones. You can find that actually have one good criteria, and they're going to be 1080, 1080p screens full HD screens. A lot of laptops are 720, you get the 13 something by 7, something and the screens are just terrible on them.

So this one's 1080p. I want to show you a bunch here that are going to be 1080p, and they're going to be cheap. So if you're, fine you're looking for you know a good, you know good Chromebook Chromebooks can they can run on ailerons? They can run on. You know four gigs of ram, and they can run on just about anything. But the screen is the killer.

A lot of those cheap ones come with really terrible screens, but what I'm going to do in this video is like I do. Sometimes I'm just going to show you what's available out there. Let you guys make your own decisions, but I want to show you the pricing number one and then the features you get for these we'll go through them. So I'm going to go through one through five, starting with the least favorite out of the five and then all the way to the best, the best one. I think you should get, which would be number one, so stay tuned for all of them.

Let's go oh yeah, and before I start I want to just show you know these are going to be value or cheap laptops really quickly and like this one, I'm showing you right now is not going to be one of them. Take a look at this one: we're not going to be spending 1200 on a Chromebook like this one. I think it's insane, you don't need 5k or 4k or whatever the screen is you don't need to spend 1200 bucks on a Chromebook? So that's my disclaimer. These are going to be way cheaper. Let's go one through five, all right, so my number five is going to be the Lenovo Chromebook s330.

You can see a picture of it right here. It's a really nice, it's black! It's! They call it business black. It's made out of plastic, but it does have that perfect. It's basically a 14 inch, 1080p screen. You can see it right here, I'll, go ahead and just show you a couple of the different pictures of it.

If you want and that's how it looks there, let's just scroll down a little here, and we'll just show you it does. They do make a kind of different model.

Here, it's a little smaller, but this is the one we're talking about over here it does the business black. It's got the MediaTek processor and 64 gigs of ram, I'm not ram of disk space. Um SSD space. Again, you don't save anything on chrome, you actually use an external. You know, storage or use the cloud for this, so you don't need a lot of storage there.

Let's go ahead and take a look at this on Amazon right now, all right so on Amazon you can see it I'll have links again to this. You know all the stuff in the description, 339 brands, new and uh. You know you hear some pictures again of it. It's a very thin unit. You can see if it's very light, but long story short is you're.

Just looking for something that's 1080p, and it's going to be a good choice in 2011. You know 2021, which is this is going to be. You know a pretty good choice for that. So I recommend this. This is my number five pick.

Let's move on to the number four all right, so the number four pick I have here is the Acer, Chromebook 314. You can see this. It's intel, n4000, dual-core processor 14 inches again 1920 by 1080, so you get that great screen, 4 gigs of ram- and you know 12 and a half hour battery life, which is your know huge for Chromebooks, we'll go up and check it out on Amazon in a second. But take a look at this I mean this is going to be around 289 only, and you get that that awesome 1080p for 289. This is the one kind of that I have that I showed you there in the intro mine's very similar to this.

But these are they make a bunch of different versions. They had a 15 or 14, but these are just great units. They can be a little older, definitely um. I mean this. This is a little older model, but they still work great just because of the chrome OS and then really quickly.

Here on Amazon, you can see it's again, 289 a great deal. You know you have different choices of different screens. Here you do have a 15.6 screen, which is a little bigger, obviously than this still 1080p. So you get some different options. There but here's the way it looks you can see how thin it is here.

It looks really nice I mean it looks very similar to kind of MacBook Air. Almost you can see. You know it's very thin, very light. In any case, I just this is one that I recommend for 2021. If you're looking for a really cheap, 1080p Chromebook all right, my number three pick is going to be the 2020 hp.

They call it the hp 14 inch Chromebook. This is kind of a misprint. Here, it's 1920 by 1080, it's not 1929, but in any case this is actually a unit again, you know for what you're getting take a look at it. You got perfect speakers a lot of good reviews on that um. You can take a look at the look of it.

It looks you know. Obviously it's not going to be metal, it's going to be more of a plastic, but it does look almost like. You know a little like a MacBook as well has a lot of different ports on it, and what have you? But basically this is 1080p and this is only going to be about 249 which we're getting even lower now. So this is pretty crazy. Now this isn't going to be.

You know I'm going to have some units that come up a little higher than this, but for the cost. This is just an incredible unit. Let me go ahead and show you on amazon all right. So here we are on Amazon. Again it's the said: it's the 2020 hp, high performance, Chromebook, 14.

, um 1080p only 249, as you can see, and uh you know again. They have all these different things. As far as screen to body ratio, 13, 13 and a half hours of mixed battery usage, which is huge on this, does have four gigs of ram and only 32 gigs of storage. But again it does have those slots. You can add storage very easily, just with a micro SD card, or you can use the Google environment just to store online.

That's what chrome's for so this is my number three pick perfect pick. Let's see the last two all right, so the runner-up is actually you know. These are interchangeable. Number two and number one are going to be interchangeable, so this one's actually a cool one. This is more of a tablet, but it does come with this integrated keyboard.

Here it's called the Lenovo Chromebook duet, a two in one 10.1 inch. It's got 1920 by actually 1200, so you get a little better display there. You get four gigs of ram, and you get 128 gigabytes of SSD, which is great, and you get an arm chip. So take a look at this. This is you know it comes.

It comes basically as a tablet, but does have an integrated keyboard, as you can see which comes with it. You can see it down here, so it does fold up. Super light. Super thin, it's just a great overall system that you have for the Chromebook in general. So this is at 299 a perfect value.

Let me go ahead and show you on Amazon all right. So here we are on Amazon, 2.99, again um. You can see all the specs here and the big thing in kicker is obviously that extra storage you get, I mean. Obviously you can use the cloud you can use external storage. This is pretty good though, and this is going to have you know you can use it as an actual tablet as well.

So that shouldn't be a problem, and you know a lot of people like to do that. Just you know, just because you know you can unhook the keyboard and use it as a touchscreen um. On top of that, you do get. You know it's a smaller screen at 10.1 inch. Just keep that in mind.

That's the kind of negative behind it. You get about 10 hours of battery life because it is a little thinner, there's not much in the actual keyboard. It's all in the know really in the screen of all that's where the processor is all the ram and batteries so check this one out, Lenovo, Chromebook duet. This is probably one or two of my top picks we'll go to my number one. Next, all right and my number one cheap Chromebook that has a 1080p screen that you can actually get a perfect screen on it's going to be the Samsung Chromebook four plus- and this is the reason I like this now.

I think this is a kind of tie. I mean obviously the one I just showed you was probably a lot of people might like that better because of storage. Furthermore, I like this because of the look of it. Now I'm a big apple fan. As you watch my channel, you can take a look at even the keyboard how this is laid out from a distance.

It's just the way. It's squared off and just the presentation of this laptop, it's really really really elegant, really cool. So it does look like a MacBook. I mean. Obviously you have the big chrome label here, but beyond that it does look like it's obviously a MacBook or something like that.

So I like the look of it, it is only 2.99, I'm going to show you the Amazon listing here in a second, but for 299 you know getting a 1080p screen with you know a good performance on chrome. You can't go wrong with this and finally, here it is 299 on Amazon I'll, have a link in the description 15.6-inch screen, so you get that big screen as well. It's just going to be a Cameron and 4000 again, four gigs of ram only 32 gigs of storage, but I mean again it's its. These are things you take to the coffee shop. You know you store on a SSD any of your data, or you go.

You know upload it to the cloud. So it's just something you just can open up instantly and turn it on in two seconds and work, and you know anything you need to do. I rate this, the number one I like you know. Obviously people may have a different option or different choice, but based off the price. I like this one, all right.

So what do you think not too bad, huh? So you're talking under 300, you get a 1080. You know 1080p screen full HD, a very nice screen. You usually get four a little more. Furthermore, you know gigabytes of ram, which you don't need on chrome, OS, chrome OS can, you know, be very, very uh resilient against viruses. It doesn't get nearly as many viruses as windows and things in apple.

Even so, that's a huge advantage there as well. So if you factor all those things in these are good values for people that just do email, and they do web browsing and stuff.
