What's up gadgets, my name is hector, and this is gadget beard and on this channel unboxing review, everyday tech, gadgets and accessories for you, and in today's video TCL sent out the tcl20 pro 5g.

It's an unlocked, android phone available on Amazon for 4.99, it's available in two colors marine, blue and moon dust, gray, moon dust to the moon. AMC indulge! Let's get it. Anyways 4.99 will get you a 6.67 dodge AMOLED display it is the full HD plus display 2400 by 1080 the aspect ratio on this bad boy is 20 by nine, and it does say, is 3d glass, meaning it's just curved on the edges. Uh, you will take a look at it as soon as I unbox this. You can see the curved edges on the display itself, the processor behind this bad boy.

It's the Qualcomm, snapdragon 750 g, 750 g. Let's get it uh, it has a cry, 560, graphics card, outscore processor. I don't know if you want to go further into details, but I'll leave a link in the description. So you can go ahead and look more into the processor. This is Qualcomm's fairly new budget mid-tier processor.

It does have gigabytes of ROM with six gigabytes of ram. You can expand on that memory via micro SD up to one terabyte, which is amazing, and it is running android 11, yes, android 11 is a must, and I'm pretty sure we're going to get android 12 on this bad boy. Here are the rear cameras. You have a quadruple camera setup. We have a main 48 megapixel camera, it's a Sony is.

We have a 16 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth. Sensing camera lens dual led flash. It has autofocus ff AF, ff all this FFF two time: lossless zoom 10 times, digital HDR. Yes, video capabilities that is 4k at 30 frames per second 720p and 1080p at 30 and 60 frames per second. It does have slow motion, it has 120 frames at 1080p and 240 frames at 720p.

Your front-facing camera is going to be a 32 megapixel video capabilities on the front facing cameras. It's 4k at 30 frames per second also 1080p and 720p at 30 and 60 frames per second slow motion at 720 p at 120 and 240 frames per second battery size is a 4500 William hour battery. It does have fast charging 18 watt, Qualcomm, quick charge 3.0 and up to 15 watt MRI wireless charging, so it is capable of wireless charging as well. Now this is compatible with T-Mobile 18t not compatible with CDMA networks. It's certified on the 18t network, but it will also work on T-Mobile.

It's not certified to work on the Verizon network, yet it might come in the future. Who knows with that? Sometimes things do happen: Bluetooth, 5.1 type c charging, cable and data transfer connector. So without further ado, let's just see. What's in the box enough of me, rambling about all these specs I'll leave a link in the description. Awesome. Oh, the quick start guide, sim ejection tool. I like manufacturers, that give you a case just in case. You don't have one on hand when the phone arrives. We do have type c to type c.

Oh, no. We don't have type c to type c, USB to type c charging cable and your brake. It's an USB brick fast charging, 18 watt charging brake here, Qualcomm certified quick charge. So let's go ahead and put this bad boy back. That's all we get in the box.

Let's take a quick look at what we came here with device display, greatness, he's just doing an awful job at this and look at this bad boy right here. This is their marine blue color, and it's looking very, very nice. Look at that. Look at that. Color shift bam, love the new design of the cameras right there, not intrusive, not nothing out of the ordinary but looks very nice and clean, very subtle, TCL branding there in the bottom left corner bam, looks clean, look at that 3d glass, which is curved display right here boom on the bottom.

You have your sim tray type c charging, cable and data transfer, speaker and mic on the top. We do have an IR blaster bam. What's the last time you have seen the IR blaster boom, so I'm pretty sure this pairs up well with their TV, so you can change the channels' mic headphone jack, on the left side of the phone. You do have a power button here on the right side of the phone. You do have a volume locker, and I believe this button right here should be a shutter button for the camera.

So when you hold it, I believe so because it's red, unless it's the power button, nope power, is right here. Let's power up this bad boy, see if we got juice, and we don't get juice that which is the power button. This is the power button right here. I don't know what this is might be a camera button, or it might be a dedicated Google Assistant button right there, but we will find out um cool, let that boot up real quick. So we have it nice and booed up there.

So just I want to do a quick comparison with the TCL 10 pro g from last year. Right here, this is the phone right there uh, as you can tell the new 20, it's just a bit taller and wider on the back. Look at the differences between these two devices, this one's a little rounder. This is a little more rectangular than the last one here, but devices still look good. Look at that! TCL displays look phenomenal! Let me go ahead and set this bad boy up real, quick and come back and give you guys a preview of the OS inside all right, we're back, I'm done with setting the device up right out the back.

I want to say that this device feels very, very premium, and one thing I did notice the fingerprint reader in display fingerprint reader for the tcl20 pro 5g is way better than the last model. We'll do a quick comparison later on a different video I'll, compare the both letting to see if it's worth the upgrade and right out the back right now. I think it is look at that. It's just boom popped open. It's amazing if the display looks very, very good for being a 1080p display, it looks awesome as far as the refresh rates.

I don't think it has a high refresh rate display um, but it looks good either way. Uh it's bright. The colors pop looks very, very good. We do have edge display here, so you can slide over put some functions there. If you like, uh, it's running very fluid right now, of course, we just set it up.

It is downloading to apps in the background, so that could also bog it sometimes down, but it's not doing that right out the back it. I. I think this is a great device. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with this, I'm going to Vegas this weekend. Furthermore, I'm going to take this bad boy with me.

Take some pictures. Put it through a test make sure this device is worth your 500 dollars, but look at this bad boy.
