Huawei Mate 40 Pro - Hardcore Gaming Test Review (PUBG, Call of Duty, Asphalt 9) By Shaan Haider

What's up guys this is shan't Hyde, and today we are going to do a gaming review of Huawei Mate 40 pro 5g smartphone by playing few of the most high-end heavy graphics games. We will also monitor the battery performance and whether we are going to face any hitting issue or not so for this testing purpose, we will use the performance mode to get the best performance out of the device. So right now battery percentage is 47. CPU temperature is 39 degree Celsius and battery temperature is 33 degree Celsius. So let's play a few of these most high-end heavy graphics game and let's see how good is the performance of Huawei Mate 40 pro so, first, let's start with Call of Duty, so here in the game setting you can see that by default, very high is selected for the graphics, quality and high for the frame rate. So I can select the max error as well, but if I go to max for the frame rate, then the graphic quality is reducing too high.

So I'm just going to select very high for both frame rate and graphic setting, and now let's play the game, so the volume is really loud at the full level. I'm going to reduce it a bit. The graphics quality is looking great, so sniper. Oh, the graphics quality is really. Nice is ready stealth.

So everything is nice and super smooth and, as you can see, that the graphics quality is just brilliant. Changing match, friendly centric deployed enemy inside online uh, oh online enemy contact, so everything is nice and super smooth and the graphics quality is great here as well, so no frame drops no lagging, even though we are playing this game on very high graphics quality, as you can see, but everything is very smooth keep down, so everything was super. Smooth, no frame drops no lagging and the frame rate was perfect like there was no frame drop, even a single one, even though we were playing at a very high frame rate and the highest possible graphics setting. So now, let's go back from here and let's have a look on the battery status, so the battery percentage moved from 47 to 44 and CPU temperature is 46. Battery temperature is 35 degree Celsius and the device is not hot at all.

Just slight warm here at the top back is totally okay and now, let's play asphalt 9. So here in the graphics setting of s49 you can see. Once again we have selected the high graphics quality. This is the highest possible graphics setting and now, let's play the game. The graphics quality seems very nice lots of detail and everything if you have a look on the ground and all and the sensors are performing nice here as well wow.

So everything was nice and very smooth, while playing as false 9 on mate 40 pro, as you can see, no frame props no lagging super smooth and the graphics quality was great as well. So, let's close this now and once again, let's have a look on the battery status, so battery percentage is 43 and the CPU and battery temperature is pretty much same 45 and 35 degrees Celsius. So now, let's play the next game and that's going to be the cover fire. So here you will get this message that cover fire is not supported because of the lack of Google Play Services, but you can still play it. Just keep tapping on ok, so this game is actually available at 120 fps, but mate.40 pro comes with only 90 hertz display, so 120 fps won't be supported. So I'm going to play this game at 60, fps and high graphics quality.

So once again, as you can see that the graphics quality is really nice, if I bring the gameplay close to the camera, you can see how much detail we are getting here on everything. So, let's play it a bit so at 60 fps game setting, you can see, there's no frame, dropper lagging so everything was nice and super smooth while playing cover fire on Huawei Mate 40 pro. So just let's play it a bit more so there is no frame drop, no lagging or any kind of issue while playing cover fire on Huawei Mate, 40 pro on high graphics quality and at 60 fps. So, let's just close it once again, let's have a look on the battery status.43 is still CPU, 46 battery 35, pretty much same story continuously and now, let's play public mobile. So here in the graphics setting of PUBG mobile by default, HD and high is selected for graphics and frame rate respectively.

If I go to HDR, I can select it here as well, and then I can select ultra frame rate as well, but if I go to ultra HD and UHD, it is not available still. So let's play the game on HDR and ultra frame rate, and let's see how good it's going to be so. The graphics quality seems very nice here. If you have a look on the characters costume, shoulder pad the reflection of the light and 3d graphics, rendering it's so nice and once again, if you have a look on the ground and the cross and all you can get the idea that how much detail we are getting here, and it's quite smooth, even though we are playing this on ultra setting for both graphics and fps once again great amount of detail. If you have a look on the body of the aircraft here, it's just impressive.

So once again, if you have a look on the environment surrounding the leaves of the trees here, so much detail in everything and once again it's very smooth. So I'm not a good player of PUBG mobile. I'm just trying to give you an idea that, if you're going to play this game- and if you like to play it so how good or bad will be the performance, so it seems everything is nice and smooth while playing PUBG mobile as well. No frame drops no lagging it's very smooth when I'm changing the camera angles to, so I'm just going to leave it here now, as you can see, everything is nice and smooth, no frame drops or lagging is happening, and it's pretty nice while playing this game here on mate 40 pro and now. If you go back from here and let's have a look on the battery status, so the battery percentage is 39 now and CPU temperature is 45.

Battery temperature is 36 and the device is still not hot at all, just a slight warm sensation. At the top here at the metal frame, otherwise the back and everything it's totally at the normal temperature and, as you can see that it's even going down 44 now 43. So the performance of battery event is quite nice because we were playing all of these games for, like nearly 40 minutes and the battery percentage moved from 47 to 39. So this is quite nice as well. So if you are a gamer, you are going to be happy with the performance of mate 40 pro for playing all of these high-end heavy graphics game for sure.
