TCL 10L Game Mode Activation & Game Turbo Review By Android Doctor

Yo, it's about the android doctor back again with another video, so I'm here with my brand new TCL 10l. Okay, so in this video I'll, be taking a look at the game mode feature on this device. So this is a cheap budget device costing 199 pounds here in the UK it has the snapdragon 665 processors and also six gigabytes of ram. So yeah, let's go ahead and check out the game mode. So I'm just going to go into the settings and go to advanced features, and here you will find the game mode. Okay.

So here at the top, we have my games section so add games to the list to enable game mode automatically when playing games. So if you select this option here, you can now manage your apps, so you can add any games that you have installed at the moment. I only have two games installed: free fire and fortnight, but each time you download a game from the play store. You will see your game show up right here in that list. So I'm just going to add these two games that I have installed at the moment: free fire and Fortnite.

Okay beneath it. We have done not disturb while gaming, so this option here, if you select it, you can block notifications. So you will not get any sound alerts, whilst gaming um below that we have constant brightness, disable adaptive brightness function when, when game mode is on and then below that we have prevent accidental touches, so double check for gesture in full screen games. Full screen gestures need to be double swiped to take effect, so I'm going to enable this and also disable three finger screen capture. I'm going to turn that on so what's your gaming, if your three fingers accidentally swipe anywhere on the screen, you will not take a screenshot once you have this enabled and also disable smart key.

I highly recommend turning back on. So if you have the smart key, which is this button here, if you have it configured to launch for Google Assistant or any applications of a camera um once you have, this turned on disable smart key, whilst you're gaming, if you accidentally touch the smart key button, nothing will happen. So I highly recommend turning back on and beneath that we have game optimization. Now this is where it gets interesting. We have game turbo, so what game turbo does it make the best performance for playing games? It will also increase the power consumption.

So I highly recommend turning this on. If you want the best performance whilst playing your games also, we have optimized networks so limit other apps network usage, while game mode is on, so I'm going to turn that on also and then last but not least, we have clean up background apps, so clean up background apps to release storage for games, so I'm going to turn that on as well. Okay. So now I'm just gonna check out the game. Mod UI hold on um.

Let me just launch Fortnite, so gear mode is on okay, so we're just logging into fall night here, okay, so just logged into Fortnite, okay. So here on the left, if you just swipe in just like this, you will see the options here. We have some little shortcuts for the game mode. So if you select that option here, you can restart the app. If you select this option here, you can disable notifications at any time or enable them, as you can see there, and if you select this little option with the scissors, you can take a screenshot.

As you can see, the screenshot has been taken. You can take another one, and then you get the options to screen record edit delete or share, and here you can also grant access to the screen recorder, and then you can start screen recording, and you can also see your battery level. So, as you can see there it's on 87, and you can see the time as well so yeah guys. This is just my video taking a look at the game mode option on the TCL 10l.
