Tab S7 and iPad Pro: Screen and Audio | Multimedia experience comparison

Hello friends welcome back today we will be comparing the tab s7 and the iPad Pro head to head in the screen, quality and the sound department, so the tab s7 is the new contender in the tablet arena, which is range supreme by the iPad Pro now. The iPad Pro is very well known for its quad speakers and a wide color gamut screen. So let's start the video and see how the tab s7 compares against the iPad Pro now, let us start with the aspect ratios of both the tablets. The iPad Pro has a 4 is to 3 aspect ratios, which is lot more squarish than the 16 to 9 aspect ratios of the tab. S7. Now personally, I prefer the aspect ratio of the iPad Pro, because this provides a larger screen real estate than the 16 to 9 aspect ratios, so mostly e-books and PDF reading is slightly superior on the iPad Pro compared to the tab s7.

So let me show by opening a web page of the GSM arena and show you how exactly both compare side to side. Now, when I move my fingers on the screen on the iPad Pro, the iPad Pro tracks, the circular gestures of my finger very nicely, whereas the android tablets do not perform those gestures tracking very nicely. But let's not go into the details of those things, we'll just focus on the screen quality of the two devices. Now, as you can see, when we hold both the tablets in the portrait mode, you can see that the s7 is slightly longer than the iPad Pro. So, while browsing in the portrait mode, you can see slightly more content of the web page is visible in the portrait mode.

So this is just a practical demo head to head, comparing the tab s7 with the iPad Pro in the portrait mode. Now let me open another website that is the engadget. com here. You can see that the safari has opened the website very nicely, whereas the android has to be put into the desktop site to render properly and have the zoom functionality intact. Even though I know there is a setting in the chrome settings in the android tablet, where you can force zoom the website in all web pages, but let me put the tab seven in the desktop mode, so we can compare now, as you can see, since it is compressed from sides.

The tab s7, the video looks slightly smaller, whereas the apple series 6 video, appears slightly wider on the iPad Pro, but in the longitudinal you can see there is lot more content that is visible on the tab, s7, which is almost cropped on the iPad Pro. Now, let's put both the tablets in the landscape orientation. Now, as you can see in the landscape orientation, the iPad performs much better than the tab. S7, you can see lot more content is visible in the landscape orientation, so this is just as a comparison. You can see practically how different it will be to view a website.

So let us now compare both the tablet for the screen colors. Now, both the iPad, and the tab s7, has LCD panels. The SGP coverage of the iPad Pro 2018 version is around 111, whereas the tab s7 covers around 152 of the color gamut of the RGB. Now both the tablets uh are claimed to be having DCI p3 compatible, whereas the elder brother of the tab- seven, that is the s7 plus, has NTSC color gamut coverage. Now, as I told you, the RGB coverage of the tab is even slightly broader than the iPad Pro, so you can see from this picture comparison.

The skin, colors or skin tones of the tab s7 appear slightly more saturated than the iPad Pro in the iPad Pro I have switched off the true tone display and in the tab s7 I have applied the natural settings. So even though the tab s7 appears slightly saturated, that doesn't mean it is automatically a better screen. So, let's go to the second error, testing and move on to a website called WebKit. org. Here there is a lot of samples available to compare the RGB and DCI p3 color gamut coverage of both the tablets, and here little shock came to me when the tab s7 is not properly displaying the WebKit logo.

In the DCI p3 color gamut, whereas the WebKit logo is slightly visible on the iPad Pro. Although the camera doesn't capture this thing properly, so initially, I thought that the tab s7 actually doesn't support the DCI p3 coverage. So I went on further testing the tablet with the other images that are provided on the website. Now, as you can see from the video, there is a definite coverage of the DCI p3, but that particular red colors are not very properly reproduced on camera, as well as the iPad Pro has a very slight advantage against the tab s7 in the DCI p3 coverage, and I think this comes down to how iOS or the iPadOS reproduces colors compared to the android version, rather than being the test of the LCD screens itself now coming to the last part of the testing that is, the lowest brightness achieved in extremely dim or almost zero lux environment. Now this video clipping was shot on my mobile phone, so you can see that the tab s7 appears almost 10 to 15 percent brighter than the iPad Pro.

So when you compare these both the tablets in the extremely dim lighting surroundings, you will feel much more comfortable having the iPad Pro, whereas the tab s7 produces a slight glare and with almost no ambient light. It is slightly more difficult to read for a longer time now, let's compare the tab s7 with the iPad Pro in the sound category. Now both the tablets have awesome, quad speakers. So let us hear some clips for the sound quality of both the tablets. Smaller second screen.

Having used this phone for about a week now, I can tell you that this is by far my a smaller second screen. Having used this phone for about a week, now tell you that this is by far my favorite multi-screen phone. Yet, let's take a closer look, pretty much screen phone. Yet, let's take a closer look. The lg wing is essentially a premium mid-range 5g.

The lg wing is essentially a premium mid-range 5g phone, featuring a Qualcomm snapdragon 765, snapdragon, 765 g processor, triple rear camera, triple rear cameras, a pop-up selfie camera and an under screen fingerprint reader. It's a little thicker and noticeably heavy, as you can hear from the clippings. The sound quality on the tab. S7 is slightly louder, maybe around 10 percent louder than the iPad Pro, but the iPad Pro has slightly more bass, frequency that is a high-end frequency slightly more present on the iPad Pro. But overall, I kind of prefer the tab s7 for most of the settings, because if you are watching a lot of videos on this tablet, then the speech or the dialogues will be much clearer on the tab s7 compared to the iPad Pro, and this is actually practically more usable than having slightly more low end or the bass in the videos.

So, as you saw from the video guys, this was a very close contest and I think both of both the tablets are great tablets when it comes to multimedia experience, both the sound and the screen quality is fabulous, and you just can't go wrong with any of these devices. This comes down to personal preference or nitpicking for just for the sake of it. So thank you guys if you like. The video do hit the like button and subscribe to my channel for more such videos.
