Special OPPO F17 Pro Diwali Edition Matte Gold Unboxing! By Gizmo Times

Hey guys this is Cretan for gizmo times, and this is a special unboxing of a special smartphone that we've received. This is the Oppo f17 pro, but what you're seeing on the side is not what is the real deal? This is the standard packaging, but what you see on the center now this is the new package from them and basically, if you know for Indians uh one of the biggest festivals is Diwali and uh. It's a mean it's a festival where there's a lot of gifting happening, so Oppo have has thought that lets this time do something different and try to uh give their customers a chance to gift someone a phone in this kind of package so um. This is just a quick unboxing to let you know how the package looks like in case you are someone who's interested to actually buy and gift it to someone. You know- and this is how it looks like firstly, uh pretty good designing on the outer side. It's be the light to spread the light.

So a pretty good message there, and here you see the Oppo branding towards the back. It's the same design all around and that's it with this one. So what happens? Are you see a separate box for this one and in this? And firstly, what you see is this the smartphone as well as this a box here. So this is the case for the phone again, the same theme being used here: the Diwali theme and the festival of lights, the camera. Clearly the camera combination here, its module, shows the gold color, and this is the matte gold, so we'll take out the phone later.

I just want to first show you how it looks like what the box brings in. So I'm not really sure about how the package is going to be given to you but uh. What we've been sent is the phone with the special gift package. Everything else is inside the standard box, the charger, the cable and everything- and this is the box where you have the gift extra gift here. So the extra gift here would include, let's see, so it includes the power bank.

It includes OPPO's 10, 000 image power banks, which was the recently announced power bank with the fast charging. So it has the 18 watt fast charging, that's the same power bank being given inside the box as a gift, so that would be the special gift package. Now, let's go back to the phone. This is the Oppo f17 pro, no, no difference from the actual official variant, so uh already Oppo f7 pro is in the market with three color options. Everything was matte finish, and this also is a matte finish, but a special mat.

Let's take this out, so this is it. This is kind of a different kind of cool and a very special color that we've seen in the market. I mean we have seen this very rarely. Uh and gold is still there in the market I mean the gold. Color is not something completely out of the box, and it's different.

It was there, but this is a gold gradient with a matte finish, so a very smooth matte and basically nothing else, changes here. It's only this back panel and the cover that you're getting along with it. On the front. You see this display, that's the same.6.43 inch display, and it is the super AMOLED display- and this the in display fingerprint sensor. The theme here is also different.

The theme here also matches something uh in the same festival mode. So you see the icons also being different and also the background being the different. So if you go into the theme store here and if you see what's the theme, if it's a theme or if it's only the wallpapers, let me go into me and my resources. So, yes, there is this Diwali edition. So that's the theme being brought in here, and you see this kind of different icons everywhere, but inside the color stays the same.

So it's the color of 7.2 based on android 10. That's what you see here, and this phone comes with the hello p95 processor uh. That's the OCTA core chipset with 2.2 gigahertz clock speed on the back. The camera combination includes a 48 megapixel primary gm one sensor, camera 8, megapixel wide camera with the 2.2 f, 2.2 aperture, and this also a 2 megapixel depth camera, and I'm not really sure why there's one more depth camera with the same sensor there. So there are two one could be helping in the monochrome uh or in the mono captures that's in a monochrome capture way, but otherwise I don't see really a sense of having the fourth sensor there.

It could be just to add to the number, but we are seeing four cameras on the back on the front. You have two cameras: one is the 16 megapixel sensor, that is the selfie camera there and there's also two megapixel depth camera along with that. The 16 megapixel selfie camera here is the Sony. IMF 471, that's a good thing and if you can easily notice it here, the phone is very, very handy, and it's because not just because of the size, but also because of the thickness. This phone comes with a thickness of just 7.48 mm, so almost 7.5 mm is what we see and for any mid-ranger you see the thickness of around 8 to 10 mm these days because of the thick batteries. This doesn't have that huge battery, it's a 4015 my battery, and it comes with a 30 watt, fast charging.

So at least in case your smartphone drains off the battery quickly. There's the fast charge, support that helps charge the device from 0 to 100 in under 60 minutes. So I would say you could easily check it out here that uh the special thing about the smartphone is this the back panel, and then you have the cover that was given along with it, and not just that. You also have the power bank in the box package. Now, if you are looking for the overall packaging, again uh, what else is being given here? This is the standard Oppo packaging.

So let's also check that out to see what comes inside this one. So it's not only the phone, but of course you need those accessories. So what are the accessories being given? Let's check that out, so you have the standard, booklets and the transparent rubber cover inside the main box package, which is what you're going to get along with the smartphone, and you have that travel adapter, the large charger with the 30 watt output, and then you also have a pair of earphones. That's something! I've always admired Oppo for in at least their maintenance smartphones. They offer the earphones so that the user doesn't have to really venture out to get a separate, uh audio accessory, and you have the USB type-c cable since the phone comes with the USB type-c connectivity.

So these are the accessories that you're getting inside the separate box package. But, as I said, the real deal is this: I mean it's a different color, some might not even like it. Some might actually love it. So it all depends on your personal preference, but OPPO's main target here is for someone who actually wants to gift this smartphone to someone they really like, or they want to gift it to one of their family members and especially during this occasion or this festival. So this is the special Diwali edition, which is basically the mad gold, but the Diwali edition comes with that separate box package in a gift pack.
