Google Pixel 3XL Unboxing! [HighOnAndroid] By Max Lee

Alright guys, let's go ahead and unbox a pixel 3xl I've already unboxed my pixel three I'll make another official unboxing video for that. But let's go ahead and unbox the pixel three XL. This is the 64 gigabyte version and just black and let me go in under the wrappers here. Wow, looks pretty nice matte finish on the back a compared to last year's pixel to excel I'm nearly the same design. The design hasn't changed much a nice back finish. The only difference, you'll see on the side this year.

The sides are not matte finish actually like last year's matte finish and that's going to make it little slippery. The SIM card slot has moved to the bottom this year, alright, on the back you'll find a 12 megapixel, F, 1.8 camera and on the front, you'll find two 8 megapixel camera, regular, f, 1.8 and wide angle. F 2.2 for super wide angle lens, which is very nice, also you'll, find dual speakers, one speaker on top and the bottom looks pretty cool: let's go ahead and see. What's in the rest of the box, you'll see a SIM card tool and there is Quick Start Guide, just a quick, Scout guy. Oh, it comes with some nice stickers.

This year, team pixel with the big G mark, um nice ear buds this year. Let's go and take a look, closer look: I! Don't actually like these hard type, ear. Buds I actually prefer the soft ear buds. Furthermore, you can go ahead and connect your USB flash drives or connect to another smartphone to transfer your data and for those of you who use traditional headphones with headphone jack you're gonna need to use this adapter, just don't lose it, and last but not least, we've got the actual. Adapter only accepts USB, type-c I. Actually don't like this I rather have regular USB.

It is rated for 5 volts, 3 amps in 9, volts, 2, amps 5 times.3 is 15 watts and 9 times.2 is 18 once maximum of 18 watts, so quick charge, 2.0 or 4.0. So that's all it comes in the box. Pretty nice packaging go ahead and put this away really feels good compared to last year's. Alright, the pixel 3 Excel ships with snapdragon 845 processors, 4 gigs of ram um. This is one 64 gigabytes, internal storage, a PIO led 6 point 3 inches whew.

That notch is that not just very ugly, very, very ugly. Alright, let me go and sign in here real, quick. Alright, let's try the fingerprint sensor real, quick, alright one, two, three, oh nine tries let's try the right finger. One two nine tries we'll get you in so a setup process of way faster than Samsung LG. One thing I like about this and the OnePlus phones.

My screen looks beautiful here. Good viewing angles, pol geek gonna, be very bright. Also, can give you very good battery life over LCD, and that is one reason why LG has started using PIO LED instead of LCD with their newer phones. Now, with the new pixel 3 & 3 XL series, you will not see a back button unless you actually need to use it and also there's no recent button. Ok guys, if you have Google Phi, you can go ahead and use this with the e SIM, and I'm going to go ahead and move.

Actually. My number here you'll be able to use project file and once you sign in to Google accounts, it will automatically transfer you over, which is nice. You don't need to fiddle with SIM cards, Google's, really pioneering sim, which is really cool. My phone activate within like less than a minute, which is really cool. Ok, you can squeeze for your assistant.

I. Don't actually like this feature, always accidentally press it, so I'm gonna. Do it later, maybe turn it off I'm all it's got always-on display and boom Shakalaka. So my phone is activated all ready to go. It's on.

Spa! Don't worry about it. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the network to optimize, and then you'll probably go on 4G LTE. Now with the pixel 3 and pixel 3 Excel, the recent button is gone. You can go into swipe from up, and you can go and switch the apps which makes it faster, and you will see a back button whenever you can press it also to access your app door, just hold it down longer and swipe up so swipe for resets and swipe up for your app door. That is the first thing you got to learn about this phone.

Alright, very nice, looking device, um everything's, very, very smooth, displays very nice. Now it's only got four gigs of RAM, but everything runs superfast, and I've been already using the pixel 3 I've had zero problems with performance looks very good. The first thing we're going to do is try to get rid of the. So, let's go into settings. Good system go to about phone right, and we're going to hit the build number of a bunch of times all right.

Once that says, you're a developer now then go ahead and hit the back button. We're going to advance and go to developer options go down to display cutouts, then you're going to be able to get rid of it. You could hide it now. That looks a lot better. You do lose a little of screen real estate, but if you don't like the knots, just hide it, and you should be good to go today.

Let's go and take a look at the camera. Real, quick, all right, let's go ahead and take a photo of using the camera are. The first thing you want to do is: go into settings advanced and enable HDR+ control, so you could also see it and also enable aged up to 65 um that'll. Give you slightly better bit rates with your videos. Alright and I want to put the grid on, and also video resolution only tops at 4k thirty frames per second, which is sort of a bummer, but this can be fixed with the software update like with the LGG seven, they launched with 4k 30 frames per second, but they added the 60 frames per second later on I.

Don't think Google will add it back on, but I hope they do. That'll be nice. Probably the biggest thing this year is the portrait mode. It's a lot more accurate I've done a ton of tests already the amount of Bouquet you can get is ridiculous. So let me go ahead and do a quick portrait test and boom Shakalaka that looks pretty good.

Now. You can also go ahead and adjust it hit the Settings button and then settings button again. That really looks amazing amount of detail. You get also the edgings and also how well it's performs with the background objects looks perfect, so I'm not sure. What's going on with my pixel 3 I can actually go ahead and adjust the blur, but I don't see the options here.

So if I take the same shot with the pixel 3, maybe they forgot to put it in if I take a shot with that, I can do that and hit the Settings button twice, and I'll be able to adjust D blur the depth. I'm, not sure. What's going on, I'll have to get back to you. Maybe they're going to update it with an update, but you should be able to adjust the blur. That's one big difference.

I've seen with the pixel 3 versus pixel, 3 XL I'm, like I, said I wouldn't worry about too much all right. So let's say you took the shots and you to get some letters off it. You can go ahead and hit that, and it's going to figure out what things are on there. It actually thought those numbers on the lens are phone numbers. If you go to text selection, it's going to give you, eighteen to thirty five-millimeter 1.8 DC 97 to Sigma. It's going to give you all that information, even though it's upside-down, so you don't have to write it down.

You can go ahead and copy and paste it. Okay, we'll do a front camera test. Real, quick and now you have two lenses, so you can go ahead and zoom out very wide angle versus regular. Let's go ahead and try portrait mode and try it with the wide-angle and, let's see the, how that looks. The wide-angle and portrait looks beautiful, I think that's gonna, be for today, but very beautiful phone price is a little pricey versus last year.

The two biggest improvements this year. You got full ip68 rating, also wireless charging which works. Well. If you swim, you can go ahead and go in your spa pop out and usually when your phone gets wet, you can't charge your phone, so you can go ahead and charge it with your wireless charger. I got a Samsung wireless charger and boom.

If it lights up, it's charging alright spot in line. Do I recommend this phone? Oh yeah, this is the latest pixel 3 excel you're going to get all the latest software upgrades, especially the wide-angle front camera and the full ip68 rating wireless charging, and if you buy to unlock version from Google Play Store. You're going to be able to use this on AT&T T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon you're not gonna, be locked to a carrier, and you can use it on project feed like how I am doing I do also really recommend project fee, which is compromised of T-Mobile and Sprint. So definitely recommend it. If you don't use a lot of mobile data, pay as you go, and you go over a certain amount on Google, only gonna charge, you like 40 bucks or something so pretty good deal on the phone, and I'll have a full review of project fee.

Also, project 5, sorry, I keep getting confused. How to say, I think it's 5 anyways leave your thoughts below what do you think of the new pixel 3 Excel, and also do let me know what you think of my first phone unboxing using 4k 60 frames per second, you guys, like it, I'll, keep doing this more but yeah last year, pixel to XL. Definitely one of my favorite phones, especially for photos um this year. It's not gonna, be no difference. I think pixels are king of smartphone photography.
