Mi Note 10 Long Term Review!

Everyone Chris hair, so I really wish I could do more. Videos like this. This is my long-term review of shimmies me notes ten mid-range phone that I've had now for almost five months. I originally actually sold it because a small channel like mine, what I have to do due to financial reasons, is buy and then so later on. The phone, so I can then cover more tick. So after the five months now is the note, ten worth it now.

The book quality of the note, 10 is very good. I, don't think it's going to disappoint anyone. It is for me at the same exact level as Charles flagships. The ten enemy, 10 Pro, that I have also reviewed check my channel for reviews of those, excellent finish to it. Now we do have a curvature to the display that some people may find a little annoying edge detection for accidental touches on that curvature isn't bad, but sometimes it can be a little of annoyance if you need to tap something right on the curvature, for example, a game that has a settings menu that you want to go into, you might have to touch it again and that's just a minor inconvenience there and down the bottom here you will see, we've got a type C port, but we also got a 3.5 when the headphone jack, something the 10 flagships do not have. So if you need that this makes this phone ideal large battery in this okay, so five thousand two hundred and sixty million hours, but it does charge quickly just over one hour and that is 30 watt charging, and we have a look at the top there.

We've got an IR transmitter, a secondary mic and our earpiece. Sadly, this doesn't double as a secondary loudspeaker, so we'll demonstrate the unlocking here with our fingerprint reader face. Unlocking is very fast, so just tap it, and it unlocks. It's not the quickest I have seen, but for the chipset I think it's acceptable. The most important thing is the accuracy of these fingerprint readers.

It's not as good as the old always-on capacitive rear ones. It's going to work about eight to nine times out of ten and a little tip here and the same thumb, and if you're going to use another finger, add it twice or even three times, and that does help increase that accuracy there for us, so our volume and power buttons on the right hand, side these are made out of meat good, feel to them. No problems and I like the middle frame around this one. So I originally had a model. It was a darker frame, color on it, but I think this white and silver does give it a good look.

The overall look at the phone ? is so similar to the Hawaii way. P30 Pro that I have here. You can see very similar layout with the buttons, the notch at the top with the front-facing camera and then, if I flip them around, you see the location and in the three cameras ? with the main module they're very similar gain the curvature to the glass we've got Gorilla Glass five front and back with the amino ? ten. Now the screen is fine for a mid-range phone. It is full HD plus resolution.

It is six point four seven inches Super AMOLED panel and the maximum brightness is 600 nits well close to 600 nits, it's actually a little under it, but in direct sunlight. As you can see right here, you are able to make out the screen perfectly. No I have seen better, but normally from flagship phones that cost twice the price of this one with a lot brighter screens than this. Yes, you can make it out just to find in it ? the main thing. Their touch response is ok.

Now sometimes I have noticed that if you go, for example, into the camera, and then I go over to say the ultra-wide, it does sometimes need you to go back and touch it again, and it's just occasionally I just found the touch response isn't quite good as you'd sometimes like, but it has really improved there. Let's get on to the performance ? about this, with that 7:30 G, the performance I think is going to be suitable for most people. You do notice that when you start to do real heavy multitasking, and you keep a lot of things open there- that it will bog down a little, but if you're declaring the memory out and free up that memory and just use it as per normal, like you know, you're, not running 50, tabs and Chrome, or trying to do that, then you won't really see too much of a problem with the performance now and then, when you do have a lot of apps in memory you go over to swap over to them. For example, if I go back to call it Judy, which was open before you notice that there is just a little of a delay there, and you are okay. Well, you know it's a mid-range chip.

I just want to get out of this that it's not quite as fast as you'd, always hope, so I just need to get there. We go. Finally, you can see there, that's because it's a demanding game there in the background. So if you demand the absolute smoothest best performance, then you will notice just now, and then it does leg a little here and there, especially when you've taken a lot of photos. You go back into the album, for example, and then it takes a little to load in those images.

So I've just got a couple of other things to run through here very quickly. This is an update that, because it's the global version I wanted to just point out that it does come with quite a bit of bloatware here so Facebook and Amazon and Netflix is all on there and some other bloody games. But you can uninstall all of us bloatware rubbish. They put on there and that will be in total to about almost 1.2 gigabytes worth of bloat that they put on this phone. That's a lot, I really think Charlie should tone down so out of the box.

If you run the cleaner app on the global Rob, you will get some of these advertising adverting come through in the apps that are part of the phone data system. Apps I think there's a way around there to get you disable them, but I'm reviewing here out of the box without tweaking it. So that's not good to see, and that is inappropriate advert as well, at least here in Spain. That is saying it's its an adult social media dating kind of site. This is an updated school here with a global version as well for and ? ? okay.

So this is version 8.2, not a bad school. Okay and say she all right, especially when you take a look at the GPU. What this can do in gaming, as I'll show you later on, is fine, and we'll get you fes2 storage on this, so the random reads and writes and sequential, as you can see there. Actually that's fine I mean that's not going to be the bottleneck of this system and then the most important one in battery life very good. So that said, large battery that sent us, of course, over 5,000 million hours, 5260 so 14 hours, just Oliver with our PC Mac fixed score here, 200, it's brightness, it's an excellent result.

This is actually topping the charts that all the battery tests that I've done with these phones that I've been reviewing Wireless speeds, have improved slightly I think, but not really the fastest. Here, as you can see, and if you're wondering what firmware I'm on there, it is. So this is the latest at the time of this video that came through a little while ago, there a big one to two points. Six gigabytes I wanted to run through just some more photo samples here. I've got a lot more in the full review of this one, but this is before the world sort of felt a bit.

So I wanted to show this. So this is the ultra-wide here that I think is actually it's a and you see from my comparison, I've had a meeting versus meeting Pro comparison. These are, in fact some samples of it here, but I think the note tin actually does bid a job at times. It's probably because of the higher megapixel count, giving us a lot more detail, especially around the edges right here with this Ferrari, that is the ultra-wide, will go then to the 108 megapixels. So that is the main camera, and we've got the 2 x, so that's 12 megapixels with face detection, autofocus and then now our five x, which does have very good stability as well, and you can see the detail here captured even though it's 5 megapixels upscaled to 8, you can see that curb rash.

So whoever owns this exotic lovely car here super expensive car as a poor driver because they curved those wheels' ouch. They must be really annoyed about that. Let me take a look at this historic replica of a galleon here, 100 times, 108 sorry make a pixel camera, and then we go over to our two times. A lot of detail there and 5 times. Look at the details captured with the Rope quality, does degrade a little, but it's much better than digital zoom.

Here now, with my cat very of taking this photo at a hundred and eight megapixels and the pixel ben27 megapixel shot, I think, is just as good, and I would not be taking a hundred eight megapixels pixel been all the time. Are we're going to be doing with this one now other photos so portraits? How do the portraits come out? So you can see right here with my daughter that the okay stitching yeah it needs a little of work, but it depends on the shop because sometimes the stitching looks good other times, not quite as good as you can see here and then my two-year-old. That just does not stop for more than three seconds. I managed to get this pretty good shot and look at the stitching is actually quite good. When you take a look at where her hand, is it managed to stitch that out blur the background quite well there, so it can take an excellent photo and as it as good as the 10 just looking at these samples here that I'm showing as well I, really do think it is so make sure you check that comparison, because you will see that there's not much in it and okay.

Let's take a look at selfies, so I think here selfies as well come out better than their flagship. Thirty-two megapixel camera on this one. It's a higher megapixel count. Then, when you take a look at video, this is another camera comparison that the stability of this sensor, the one hundred eight megapixel one, is excellent, and even that ultra-wide, very, very good, but you'll notice. It does suffer a lot from Jetta when you pan around you get this terrible Jetta that the ten and the medium probe don't seem to suffer so bad from, so I think it could be limitations in just the ISP.

So the image signal, processing part of the chipset might not yeah but a handle that as well, that hundred eight megapixels and all that data coming through I think the higher performance chip just makes it a little smoother there. So, if you're into the best video quality- and you want to show me phone that is then I would say- go for the meeting for that one, because the knee turn is probably video. Just has a lot of Jetta to it when panning around. So while this chipset isn't exactly top in the best of the best you can get for Android, it's not actually too bad the Snapdragon 730 G. You can run, for example, Call of Duty here at the max frame rate option, which is I, believe 60 frames per second on the high graphical quality setting.

So, as you can see even on the high settings, it still does look perfect and the frame rate, excellent, no real problems, I, don't see any major lags or stutter if you're in a heavy firefight, there's a bit of smoke going off or an explosion yeah, maybe it'll dip down just a little. But overall it is a very playable game here, and you don't have any problems at all. Looking down the scope, as you can see it in your sights, you're not gonna, have any huge legs or stutters, so it can game. Okay, this phone. So really it boils down to this phone here for those that want 90, Hertz screens or fast refresh rates, the best gaming performance, absolute top performance.

You want 5g as well, then you wouldn't get this phone, but for everyone else, I think the average Joe out there that the performance is going to be more than adequate. It can play all the latest styles out there with decent graphics eating nibbles. You might have to rely on some of the most demanding games like Shadow gun legions, for example, you wouldn't run it on ultra-high, but it's still going to be perfectly fine. You've got cameras on here that are at flagship level in terms of still photography, low-light portraits as well I think and then the ultra-wide the ultra-wide on this and the selfie camera is actually better than Xiaomi's flagship. The teen and the TM pro in my experience so as I mentioned a few times, make sure you check out my camera comparison between those two models.

If you had any doubts there and then the battery life on this is perfect. Most people this will be 2 days even over, and then it charges, and just over an hour there as well I mean it's not perfect. There is sometimes a little of lag when you do a lot of heavy multitasking touch response, sometimes isn't quite there, especially on the edges and then again, the video performance with that Junta, when you pan around you're gonna, see a lot of Javas with this model, whereas on the flagships because of the faster chip, it doesn't seem to be as bad as this one right here, so solid phone. After now, almost 5 months with the note 10, it does come recommended for all those reasons, especially if you can get it for say three hundred and eighty euros or 360 euros. Then it's a complete no-brainer.

Thank you so much for watching this long-term review. Here of the note, 10 from Xiaomi.
