Hey guys welcome back to the channel in today's video we're going to talk about some of the best features on the brand new Xperia 1 mark iii. Last week, Sony finally unveiled the announcement and of course, it's going to be coming to the US a little later on this summer, but today, let's focus on some of the best features on this brand new Sony phone, the Xperia one mark iii. This is TK and this is data. Let's check it out. So this is the Xperia one mark iii, keeping in mind that this is the international model, meaning this is the one that's coming to the US market and more likely that you won't come into the European market. We still have the snapdragon 888 12 gigs of ram 256 gigs of internal storage expandable via SD card, something that is unique at this range of flagships.
Of course, uh again we have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, supporting high impedance headphones. So we have a DAC supported here that gives us the ability of having some of the best audio experiences uh. Second to the speakers that we have here. Stereo speakers, above and below the 6.5 inch 6.5 inch, 4k 120 frames per second refresh rate here on the display. So this is something one of the main benefits that you have here is that this display actually features not only the iconic 4k display that we get from Sony on their smartphone, since this is the third generation, but we now actually have the ability of jumping in between standard 60, 60p or 60 frames per second and 120 frames per second, and that gives me the ability of enjoying the fast refresh rate in all experiences.
So you can see here it's locked in at 120. It's not a variable experience. I mean everything that you run will run at 120 frames per second, and you can definitely appreciate the graphical representation here because it actually refreshes almost faster than we can even recognize it. We have the Google feed here present on the left and, of course, you can download and install other applications. The application drawer is still a swipe, all the customizations that we've had before, and we also have the ability of jumping in and actually customizing, the display experience down to the image quality from the ability of turning on creator mode standard mode with video enhancement and also even have it automatically launch creator mode whenever you jump to specific apps that support HDR and, of course, 21x9 aspect ratio- video as we have it here with Netflix.
So if we jump into the Netflix application, let's say you want to watch videos like this, the six underground. This is one of the Netflix movies. You can enjoy it in its full resolution. What I mean by this, not only does it have creator mode, but it also fits the entire display because of the 21 by 9 aspect ratio. We don't have letter boxing, we don't have pillar box killers anything.
It fits the entire display and the four and the two little bumps that you have here: the forehead and the chin that are a little thicker. That's what's housing the stereo speakers that are front facing so one of the main benefits front-facing stereo speakers that are louder than last year, a headphone jack that provides us great audio and a display that just begs to be watched. Now. Some of the other options that they've done here is the game. Enhancer they've optimized some experiences we also have the ability of jumping in and playing Call of Duty mobile at 120 frames per second one of the unique devices on the market.
That's capable of going to ultra MPE directly in here. The pre-order in the US will include up to 4 300 uh 4300 CP points directly for Call of Duty mobile and a free pair of two xm3s from Sony. If you decide to pre-order this between July 1st as well, I think it's all the way through September, and you're able to get this free bonus, bonus that they're offering from Sony. Now. One of the things you want to keep in mind is you have to believe customizing the gaming experience down to the going into the settings.
You can customize the refresh rate, the touch response and the touch tracking per app, and it will remember it you're, also able to customize the screen recording to record up to seven as well 720p at 120 frames per second multitasking display and sound. You can customize the image as well as the audio equalizer, so if you're, using headsets or even if you're, using a boom mic or an inline mic to be able to do voice over whenever you're doing your gaming recording and, of course, sharing it straight into the onto your website or even, of course, to YouTube multitasking gives us the ability of doing web searches as well as accessing other applications, while we're playing and of course, we have the ability of adjusting the brightness level and doing all the options here. As far as screen capture and all of that straight in from the gaming experience without having to ever leave the game, you can even customize how this is present. Now when it comes down to cameras on this device, we have a couple of new options. Here.
We no longer have a standard camera app on this device. What I mean, what we used to have the standard android application is now replaced with an app called the basic mode within camera pro so camera pro as the default camera application, which is the professional camera that we have here, has a basic mode that enables us to use video and camera which again gives us the ability of using the camera the normal way, we've seen it with what we've seen essentially is using the front facing experience or the back facing experience. Now. The four lenses are the four focal lengths that we have here been set by ultrawide, the 16 millimeter here the 24 millimeter here the 70 millimeter here and the 4.4. It essentially gives the 105 millimeter focal length keeping in mind.
We only have three cameras here with a time of flight sensor, and again it's using it to try to get us better, both experience now, if we jump into the auto mode or either aperture priority shutter priority or even the manual mode, you'll notice that there's an option here to be able to see the lenses in their true focal lengths. So you have the ability of seeing the 16, the 24, the 70 and the 105, but not only that you're also able to kind of pan and zoom between the two so from the 24 to the 70 you're able to basically do a digital zoom between the two lenses and, of course, you're able to jump over to the lens again. Your best images are always going to be using the standard focal length, so these four lenses essentially going to be the best experiences we're still using the 12 megapixel sensors. Here, although we have a variable moving part inside the telephoto lens that gives us the two, the 70 and the 105 focal length straight into the camera. Half pressing the button on the top gives us the ability to getting that auto, focusing that beautiful, auto, focusing even on animals and, of course, the ability of using it for burst.
Shots are always going to be absolutely great. So this is intended for camera for basically pictures if you want to use it for its fullest extent. In cinema or creating video, you need to jump into cinema. Pro cinema pro supports 120 frames per second 4k- video, of course, all the professional tools that we get here all the different options in here. As far as the look the different options, so there's to warm the bright there's, the soft monochrome and, of course you have the Venice cs.
All of those things are actually available, and you can use a headphone jack or an USB to be able to get the best audio experience into your videos for your Xperia one mark iii. So a lot of tools, a lot of benefits here using this device on top of the fact that we can actually even use it as an external display and that's something- that's also unique, so I'm gonna actually be plugging in the camera that you're looking at right now, and we're gonna basically jump in real, quick and see exactly you just use this, and now we have a 4k 120 frames per second display that could be used as an external monitor for your DSLR or any device that uses supports HDMI out now right now we're running a 1080p 60. That's the resolution of this camera, but again it will support up to 4k. It really matches what you're, using now keeping in mind on the Xperia 1 mark iii. You do need to use an adapter so basically kind of like a converter that converts the HDMI to USB c, where, if you have the Xperia pro that was not needed, but now you do but again still functional and the device just works like a regular phone afterwards now.
Lastly, as far as capacity and what we get here, we are running a 4500 milliampere battery with wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, which is new this year. The ability of charging it with the 30 watt charger- that's included in the box, will give you about 30 minutes and about from zero to 50 in about 30 minutes, so definitely very appreciated there, but again faster charging better management. There is HS power control directly in the gaming center. Here that jumps you in when you go into the actual mode. So if we jump in under gaming mode, you'll notice, there's that button here that says HS power control and that enables us to actually play games on this device without necessarily charging the battery reducing the heat when you're using it for an extended amount of time.
So the power on the outside uses for the is used for the phone and the battery stays at the level that it's intended. So it's definitely very nice to see that Sony is making this device available in the US market. Now the pre-order started. Last Thursday I did a video for the gaming experience there, but if you're looking to be able to pick them up again, the headphones and the free CP points are going to be available through September. If I'm not mistaken, but delivery of these devices in the US are going to be starting to ship out in middle of august on the 19th there's going to be two different colors, a purple and a black one, the one I showed you guys today, obviously is the black one but uh the purple.
One I feel like is definitely going to be a little more popular I'll. Give you guys again there'll, be a link in the description below for more information uh. The main thing that I want to mention to you guys here is that Sony is really pushing the limit of what we can do with our smartphones' year. Over year, the Xperia one embodies the best that Sony has to offer this year. They've changed it last year.
They had it where the Xperia one was great for content, consumption and creation, and again we still have that 4k 60 frames per second resolution display. Now we have uh what the Xperia 5 mach 2 and brought us to the end of the year. That's 120 frames per second, so I feel like if we ever have to compare the Xperia 1 mark iii to any other device. We need to start off with one question: does that other device feature a 4k, 120 frames per second resolution, and then you can go from there because I feel like it's really in its own bracket. The price point for this is a little higher than what it was last year, but that's because we are looking at some of the best technologies on the market, a headphone jack, a SD card, a 4k 120 frames per second display uh stereo speakers that face forward with 360 sound support.
We just have so much more things to be done here with the Xperia one mark iii that I feel like we need to give it a little more of a better deep dive, so find more information. Here again, as I mentioned you guys in the description below, let me know what you guys think like and subscribe as usual check out my channel I'll, see you in the next video and hope. You're doing well take care for now.
