Should you buy the iPhone 7 Plus over the iPhone XR? Pros & cons of iPhone 7 Plus over iPhone XR! By Param

Hey there folks, Param hear from Android Pitstop! While Apple has released a cheaper option the iPhone XR, it still continues to sell its 2016 models that is the iPhone 7 plus, at a reduced price. Well, this begs the question whether you should go for the iPhone 7 plus or the iPhone XR, if you are on a budget! Well, let's get into a conclusion by the end of this video! So here the reason why you should go for the iPhone 7 plus over the iPhone XR. With Apple officially selling the iPhone 7 plus, you are guaranteed with the warranty. The iPhone 5s which was released in 2013 is still being supported which means that the iPhone 7 plus would be supported for another three years or so within which you anyway change your phone that you use! Since there is no compelling feature difference between the iPhone XR and the 7 plus, like 5G support and so on, you can go ahead with the 7 plus instead of the XR. The price difference between the 10 R and the 7 plus is $200 in the US and more than Rs 30,000 in India. That is massive and again, with no compelling feature difference between the 7 plus and the XR, the 7 plus seems to be a better deal! I always felt that the touch ID is more comfortable faster and more classy than the face ID, which is another reason to consider the iPhone 7 plus as the XR doesn't have the touch ID.

With iPhone 7 plus having the aluminum back it is way more durable than the XR which has a glass back it is also slightly thinner and less heavy the iPhone 7 plus has a notch less 1080p screen while it is disappointing that you can't even watch Full HD videos in the XR as it has a resolution which is lesser than 1080p. (828x1792) The iPhone 7 plus doesn't have the notch which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending upon your personal preference. The iPhone 7 plus has dual cameras for the bokeh effect while the iPhone 10 R does have the software induced bokeh effect, in my opinion having the secondary lens is better. Even though the iPhone 7 plus doesn't have the headphone jack, it comes with the Lightning to headphone jack connector in the box itself. It also has 3D touch, which is a feature that is removed in the iPhone XR.

So, are there reasons to buy the XR over the iPhone 7 plus? Well, the iPhone XR comes with the A12 Bionic chip and even though the eight and fusion chip in the iPhone 7 plus is still an amazing performer, the former is better than the latter. The iPhone 10 are has the face ID over the touch ID which is another reason that you can consider the XR for. Thanks to the smaller bezels and not so small notch, the XR is able to keep a 6.1 inch display in a smaller footprint compared to that of the iPhone 7 plus which has the 5.5 inch display. The iPhone XR has bluetooth 5.0 and dual SIM while the iPhone 7 plus has only a single sim slot and Bluetooth 4.0! As the iPhone XR has a less power-hungry processor and a slightly larger battery it has a better battery-life. Even though you have to spend an extra seventy dollars to buy the power-brick the iPhone 10 R does support fast charging and it also comes with wireless charging a feature that the iPhone 7 Plus lacks.

The iPhone are is capable of recording 4K videos at 60 frames per second and 1080p videos at a whopping 240 frames per second while, the iPhone 7 Plus is only capable of recording 4K at 30 frames per second and 1080p videos at 120 frames per second. If you are a fan of the flashy colors, the iPhone XR provides various options for you and trust me the product red looks amazing. So, if your primary preference is the looks then the iPhone XR is definitely better. So concluding this video, if you give me 750 dollars and ask me to pick one phone I would neither pick the 7 Plus or the XR because they're way better Android phones that provide better value than these two.
