Smart phone found outside for 2 years -Kyocera Torque

You guys beasts here and kind of want to tell you a little story, and obviously, if you're watching this video, and you're into adventure motorcycling a lot of you have screen protectors, and you have cases for your phones. You've got waterproof things that you put them inside. What are the phones have had before my last LG? Is this Kyocera torque? Now this is a ruggedized smartphone. This thing survives several seasons in wild land fire and when I first got the SLR I started using the little Ram X mount and that thing held up great I was taking this great little. Big back, would sort of tore between Ben and sisters and Redmond here in Central Oregon, and it stopped at one of the old restaurants. I used to work for and chatted with the guy, and he's like that's pretty cool.

He just got a bike himself. I'm like yeah he's, like I, can't believe another thing stays on there. I'm like yeah I've, had no problems with it. Well, as luck would have it that day, I lost it somewhere. The back way between to the towns back here, I'll kind of throw in some footage, I'm sure as I'm talking, but I somewhere stopped, took a picture.

Don't know what happened to the phone if I didn't get it back in the X thing correctly, or maybe I just set it on the bike. I'm not really sure, still not 100% sure, obviously where it was donen't have service, because at the time I had a kind of thing where you could locate it. But if it doesn't have service, you can't locate the phone, so I basically put up a couple signs at the trailheads, and we're like hey. If you happen to see this phone, it's mine go ahead and give me an email, and it was fire season, so I couldn't be without a phone, so when in the local cellphone place got a new phone, it was an LG, g3, I believe I'm on now, and I absolutely loved that phone, it's great, but I got to be careful with it. It's got to be waterproof, etc.

In a case, and it's a little inconvenient, so I know ever ride likes his I forgot. What they call it Samsung has like a coating that they put on their stuff that keeps it pretty waterproof. So if you get sprinkled on it's, not that big deal, but this thing while I was on the ship, it was about a year and a half later, my brother-in-law, it's a text or an email, and he's like hey. Do you know this guy, and he's like yeah? That's my brother-in-law. It's like why just found this phone out in the middle of nowhere.

So for a year and a half this thing sat outside the back case itself is, was pretty Sun faded, so I think it was this face down I put a little of like armor all on there and that got rid of some of it but yeah that was it literally. The guy found the phone plugged it in, and it worked a year and half later you can see it's starting up now: because, there's the power button and flawlessly just went up, went through the contacts saw the last person. I texted was my brother-in-law and said: hey do you know this guy so year and a half sitting outside through the winter two summers of just hanging out enduring the weather, so that's part of the reason I loved it for a wild land fire. I didn't have to have a case on it. Didn't have to worry about scratching or breaking it.

There are like I, said some phones on here that there's like splash proof, and it's cute. You know you can get rained on a little. You can go, maybe spill a cocktail on it or two, but this thing is drop proof. It is absolutely ruggedized. There were a couple issues: it wasn't the best, smartphone and I think they have a torque AT.

That's still out, I think that fix some issues with sort of the memory you always have it like erase an app in order to put another app on there. It really didn't have a lot of space on it. However, that's not even the purpose of this video I. Really, if you guys are looking for a durable phone I just saw they have a's. A good aura force, Pro or something coming out, but they're, still making their rugged ice phones and hands down I would not hesitate to get one of these at all.

These are definitely set up forward like the Sprint Next service, that kind of push-to-talk for construction guys and for businesses, but you obviously don't have to use that, and you can repurpose that button for something else. If you want and I flawless really, if you're into adventure motorcycles, and you need a new phone, and you don't really need to be the coolest guy in the office that has the iPhone seven and a half and whatever- and you just want a good sturdy phone that works and has all the same features that runs Android and everything else looking to Kyocera torque or one of their other ones, I'm really looking forward for their aura force. I may actually just give up the LG and go back to Chi Sara, so funny little story, I thought I'd share with you guys and I hope you enjoyed it. This is B signing off with super rugged smartphones from Kyocera. Take care guys.

You.
