Samsung Tab S6 Lite vs Tab S6 (quick review) By Teoh on Tech

Hey everyone in this video I'm going to give you a quick review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab has 6 light versus the tab s6. So this video is only going to cover the significant differences in terms of user experience. You want to find out about aspects you can search for them yourself online. So, let's start with the physical aspect. First, in terms of design, both look fantastic I like the thin bezels I, like the rounded corners I, think the main difference at a glance is the display quality. So, on the light, we have a ten point, four-inch TFT LCD panel and on the tab s6.

This is ten point five inches and all that, so colors on the LCD looks alright, but you can see the colors, definitely not as vibrant and brightness, not as bright compared to the AMOLED display. Both displays by the way are now at maximum brightness. In fact, I think the visual quality of the TFT LCD, it's not even as good compared to my other Samsung phones, you get what you pay for definitely applies here. The official retail price for the light is us $349 for the tab: s6 it's six hundred and forty-nine dollars, so this is significantly more expensive and whether the tablets are worth the money really comes down to what you want to do on them. Another thing I noticed about the display, is the resolution.

So, on the light we have 1200 by 2000 on the tab, s6 it's 1600 by 2560, so all the phones, the icons here they look sharper and when you're playing YouTube videos. This can actually play those videos at 1440p resolution. Whereas on the light, you can only play the videos at 1080p and there is a difference when it comes to the sharpness of the videos. The phones, as you are browsing the web and the overall contrast like the light against dark. The overall contrast is definitely better on the that display.

The base model for the light comes with four gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of storage. It comes with a micro, SD card slot as well and for the tab s6. It comes with six gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of storage. If you get a more expensive model, you can go up to eight gigs of ram and more storage. It also comes with a micro SD card slot.

Both tablets have USB type-c port for charging and for data. However, for the tap at 6, the transfer speed is higher and not just that. This habit has some song decks, while the light doesn't have some song decks. So you can actually connect a USB cable to your external monitor, and it will output video signal to that external monitor, which means, if you want to play videos on a big screen, you can do so on the top s6, but not on the light. Both tablets are great for media consumption because of the white aspect ratio.

If you watch videos, there are going to be tiny black bars at the top and bottom and, as mentioned earlier, the visual quality it's better here because of the contrast, extra sharpness and audio quality for that have s6 is also better because there are four speakers, one at each corner for the light. You still get stereo speakers just that you have one at the top and one at the bottom processor, on the tab. S6 is the Snapdragon 855, which is significantly faster and more powerful compared to the Enos 96 11 chips. As on the light, there are some areas where I noticed performance differences. Let me show you the first one, and that is when it comes to changing the orientation of the tablet from vertical to landscape, and vice versa, take note of the speed that it takes to change the orientation so on the tab.

S6, it's significantly faster, sometimes on the light I see that one-second lag. It can be quite irritating, let's load a webpage, so I'm just going to refresh. So you can see the pictures they appear faster. It's not slow, just that this is faster and when you open a lot of web pages, a lot of tabs things start to slow down and become less responsive, so pages will start to load a bit slower and not just that when switching between tabs on the light, it's also going to be less responsive, whereas on the tab s6. It's always a very smooth.

Another area where I know it is a difference is when it comes to scrolling. For some reason there seems to be this choppiness when I am scrolling on the light, whereas on the AMOLED display the scrolling experiences Maria smoother, even though both displays are running at 60, Hertz I do not gain so. I am NOT able to tell you the difference in gaming performance, but obviously, since that have Essex is the top of the line. Android tablet from some song is you have no problems. Gaming now sometimes I take notes and draw on the tablet.

So if you draw on the tablets, if your scene has a lot of textures, things again may start to slow down and become less responsive on the light, but on the tab. Basics I realized that even when you have a lot of textures layers and your scene is very complex, it's still relatively responsive, but overall drawing experience and writing experience on both tablets. I will say: I'm more than satisfied battery life, for both tablets is excellent. You can get eight to ten hours easily, but there were depended, of course, on the brightness of the display. Both tablets come with the Samsung S Pen. By the way, let's test input lag, so you can see us like gap between the line and the pen tip as I draw on surface, but it's not a big deal, because when it comes to writing, usually you don't write with big sweeping strokes. So it's still very responsive I have no issues when it comes to writing performance. These are the pros and cons that I have written on the display. So you can see that for the Type S 6, it's better in many ways the AMOLED display has better resolution.

Colors contrast, the speakers are better, but nothing it can be better. The processor is significantly better. So when it comes to gaming, it's going to be better here and when you do like processor intensive toss. If you plant a lot of tabs, do a lot web browsing it's going to be smoother here and there is some song decks for the light. There are a lot of compromises, but the main thing about the light is this is significantly more affordable.

So if you are just looking for an Android tablet for general purpose usage like taking notes, checking email browsing the web, you can actually save a lot of money by going for the light for general usage performance on the like, it's quite responsive, just for the timer 6, it's slightly more responsive, and when you push the limits on the light, you will see the lack of responsiveness and lag will start to appear but 40 by 6, it's powerful. So no issues when it comes to loading, lots of webpages gaming or pushing the limits. Well, you get what you pay for in terms of value for money, I'm, not sure which one provides more value for money. I mean this is significantly cheaper, but there are a lot of compromises. This is way better, but significantly more expensive.
