Samsung Note10 - Worth it in 2020? (Real World Review)

This is the ultimate question: what phone should I buy today? Not everyone has a thousand dollars to spend on a phone, but at five hundred and fifty dollars or fewer. This is not too terrible. This phone isn't often forgotten one, because it's not a normal note, but let's talk about it first, because it's actually not that bad of a phone should you buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 in 2020, hello, everyone. This is Matt from real worlds, review check out the social media listed above and the description for some extras. Alright, let's review this phone with the hole punch in the middle. This seems like the same old Samsung screen and in a way it is, but they went a different direction with this one.

Just like the Samsung Note 10, plus it has a beautiful curved AMOLED screen with a hole punch right in the middle for the front cameras nothing out of the ordinary really, and it actually is a spectacular display, but it is unorthodox for what Samsung normally does. This is a six point. Three inch curved 1080p display with 401 pixels per inch. The last note to have this kind of screen was the Samsung Note 3 and, of course, I am mainly talking about the screen resolution. Not the size with all this said I would normally not like it, but the screen doesn't look that bad at all.

Watching content isn't entirely the best because it maxes out at 1080p, but with the screen ratio being 19 by 9. Videos on apps, like YouTube, are cropped, giving you a slightly better image than the old traditional 16 by 9 screens. You will get over the whole punch, but when you're watching videos with the 2 by 1 ratio or an 18 by 9 ratio, you get this half of a notch which is kind of strange other than that you get the same thing as the S 10s and the note 10 plus always-on display double tap to wake in the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The screen is very bright. Really.

The only issue you may have is the fact that it's smaller than a modern-day Note and the screen is 1080p instead of 1440p. But even to me, it's not that big of an issue I think that this part kind of sucks. This phone has a small 3500 William battery the same one found in the Samsung S 9 plus, yet still slightly bigger than the three thousand four hundred Williams so found in the s10 with the s-pen and reverse wireless charging. I find that the battery size is a little disappointing getting a day. Out of this is very doable, seeing that I was able to do it, but people that heavily use their phone will not be happy with this one you're looking at a max of five hours of screen on time from a hundred percent to zero percent- and here is what Geek bench for gave me.

There are some redeeming features like fast wireless charging and 25 watt charging through the USB port on the bottom, which both charged pretty fast and allow you to top up the phone when you're getting close to the low battery area. There are some power saving features, but I rarely ever use them and I. Don't think that you should really rely on those. But still if you are a power user, this will help you get through the day with a small battery like this phone, it's crazy to say that this battery is small when the only phone that Apple sells that has a bigger battery than this phone is the iPhone 11 pearl max. As expected, the cameras are outstanding on this phone when compared to the note 10 plus they are the same.

But the note 10 lacks the VGA depth vision, camera, which pretty much means that it lacks a time-of-flight camera. It's not a huge deal because it doesn't lack the same image quality that we have come to expect from Samsung devices. Starting with the top sensor, we have a 16 megapixel ultra-wide camera, which I always find kind of gimmicky, but it might help your images look a little better in some situations, then we have the usual dual aperture 12 megapixel camera that Samsung has been using since the s 9, which allows for some awesome day and night shots with this said there is a dedicated night mode which works just as well as you would expect, and it works on all the sensors at that I wish. A poll will do this, but that would make too much sense. Then we have the final sensor on the bottom, which is a 12 megapixel telephoto sensor, which does well during day and night shots, but clearly the standard sensor does better at night thanks to the dual aperture.

This is that order. The bottom two sensors have optical image stabilization, which makes sense especially for the price tag, and it is capable of recording 4k at 60 frames per second. It still surprises me that Samsung sticks to a single flash, but is anyone really supposed to be using this for photography anymore? Then? We flip over to the front, and we get a single 10 megapixel selfie camera, which still has auto phone. Even if you don't like the sensor, Samsung is still making focusable cameras when companies like Apple, ignore it and Google end up forgetting about it. Video caps out at 4k 30 frames per second, which is nice to see, and the portrait mode shots come out.

Looking pretty nice. So after a software update, Samsung actually gave 4k 60 frames per second on the front cameras on all these tens and all the note tens pretty cool. Regardless of the sensor that you use on this phone, you will know that the shots will always look amazing. The question is not whether the note line has a purpose, but more of why this phone was even made. It is smaller and most of the specs are lower than the note 9 and Note 10 plus I joked around, and we call this the Note 10 e.

But it's kind of true the screen resolution is lower than what we would normally expect, as well as the battery size and RAM, which is 8 gigabytes instead of 12 gigabytes. On the note 10 plus, there is the S Pen on the bottom, and it still does the same gimmicky stuff that the note ends do which makes sense, because it's literally the same pen no difference at all. There is no headset jack on the bottom and there is no expandable memory card slot, even though there clearly is enough space for the latter. With the said Bluetooth, headphones are starting to become normal and 256 gigabytes of u FS.3.0 storage standard is always nice to see with the galaxy s 10 plus and the note tens 950 dollar price tag new. It really makes you wonder why Samsung even made this phone, the only thing I can think of is Samsung doesn't know if making a bigger phone is the right move or keeping a reasonably sized phone is the best choice, so they may both.

This is strange to me, but what ended up happening? Is people decided that they're already spending a lot of money on a phone, so they might as well pick the more capable Note, 10, plus and I, think that it's a reasonable choice at this point regardless they killed the Bigamy button on either phone. So I'm pretty happy to see that so, should you buy this phone in 2020 at a reasonable price, I would say yes, it is strange that they released this phone, but it's actually a reasonably sized phone with note features ? the SD card slot other than that it checks the boxes. Nice screen, snapdragon, 855 processor gimmicky features the liable user-interface all day, ICH battery life duel wireless charging with the phone and the pen, as well as reverse wireless charging, premium easy to break design, top-tier specs, outstanding cameras, water resistance and so on. Yes, there are probably better deals out there, but this phone is for people that want to buy a phone that fits into their life and I think that those are the people that will continue to buy this phone, and that's all I wanted to talk about thanks for watching my review of the Samsung Note 10 or as I like to call it the Samsung Note 10.
